Copying Delta Onix happens in the Pokemon Center, before entering the caves. Nathan's lists are specifically for the Pokemon who are coming underground.

What about copy the form of Delta Onix?

I can try and have Ditto do it from memory if we really need it.  And we have Geodude and Raticate to help with digging as well, so it might not be that needed after all.

Then it settled then. Ditto copy the form of Onix and then Heart swap him for Koa. Wobbaffet, Koa, Rose, Viktor, Gustav and Patrat is my choices of team.

I think the only thing who rest now is wait for Lord Windos aswear about the conversation in the flash back with Heart and to say his thougs about everything.

Oh yeah, before I forget, Nathan will have bought some Kite String as well since Tanuki recommended having some of that. Don't want to forget it if we happen to need it.

I mentioned that Shiva already has two balls of these among the materials she uses for crafting, but I guess it doesn't hurt to have a little more.

Ven takes Ditto being a Sableyes in stride, as A) He doesn't know it hadn't scanned/memorized the appearance of one beforehand and B) Transforming into Pokemon is just what Dittos do!

Must have missed that due to being at work at the time or something.  Whoops.  But yeah, more can't hurt, so Nathan probably picks up another two balls of kite string for his inventory.  Besides, if his necklace's vine breaks for some reason, he could probably use some of it as a replacement.

I would have thought Nathan's confusion/exasperation coupled with Ditto coming out of the pokeball as a Sableye outright (Transformations are usually cancelled when a pokemon is recalled) might have been enough clues that something is weird about Ditto, but ah well...it is what a Ditto does, but I do wonder how long Ventus will be able to keep that mindset up for with this particular Ditto...
