[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Yup, definitely.  Ralts is tired, and still a little scratched from earlier, but he's still got plenty of energy to play with Dizzy!  Calam, meanwhile, is keeping watch with Nathan since he's the least tired of everyone in the group.  (Though be can't help but smile whenever he happens to glance at Ralts and Dizzy playing together)

Nathan, meanwhile, is reviewing/making some notes in his journal with Solomon watching.  Swiftfire's out to provide lighting, as usual.

...and then the snoring started.  Nathan's still awake, so he's not losing any sleep over it, thankfully, but good grief...he had half a mind to go give Heart what for if the snoring didn't stop soon...

...thankfully, it did.  Followed by Ventus grumpily exiting the tent a moment later.

Nathan quietly goes back to reviewing/writing his notes, looking up every so often to make sure nothing's amiss.

...and yawning every so often, too. It's been a long time since he's stayed up THIS late...

Nathan's long day is not quite over. First Calam perks up, then Nathan sees a little green orb float into the camp, look around, and fix its gaze on the tents. It's a Solosis, and it just noticed you looking at it.

Nathan stares at the Solosis for a moment longer before he comments.

"...well, you just curious, or are you looking for trouble?  Wouldn't recommend the latter.  Ralts, what're they feeling right now? Calam, stay on your guard."

Calam and Ralts are both heavily on guard. Calam even has his crest pointed at Solosis. Ralts looks ready to attack, more than just a defensive stance.

Seeing your preparedness level, Solosis backs away, heading for the darkness.

Wrong choice, Solosis.

"Calam, get 'em. Don't let them leave so easily."

Pursuit!
Accuracy: 12 - 3= 9
Damage: 2 + 3 + STAB + 2 Fleeing + BG + SE = 9 base + 1 damage
Note: 4 successes crits!

(4)(5)(2)(3)(4)(6)(3)(2)(2) Critical hit.
(5)(6)(1)(6)(2)(2)(4)(3)(3) Solosis takes 5 dmg and faints.

Calam pounces like a wolf, all his predator instincts awakened by fleeing, Psychic prey!

Examining the Solosis, Nathan sees that instead of the usual curlique thing, there is a metallic antenna in its place.

Hmmm...let's try using a pokeball on it.  Just a normal one.

It bounces off. (This doesn't consume the Pokeball). A...what color of light haven't we used yet...red light blinks in the Pokeball's button.

...so it's owned by another trainer, it seems...and based on that antenna...

...

...dang it, if only he had Porygon-Z or Pulse right now...well, there's one other thing he could try...

Nathan goes to wake Valder.  Maybe a Thunder Wave from Grid can do something about that antenna...

Inside the tent, Valder is almost back to sleep. He's clutching a Pokeball in one hand. He hands over Grid and goes back to sleep.
