[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
"I agree too. Unfortunately my team don't have so much support moves to help everyone. Abbadon still with me and I can summon Safe Guard and Encore to protect us and force the foes into problems. Or even reflect his strongest moves. And there Rose Mach Punch, Close Combat and Flare Blitz. We can deal a lot of damage. The more sooner we deal with the Scimitars the better."

"...well, let's see if we can do something about our pursuers then."

Nathan looks at Mr. Finder.

"...you said you can track those who've come into contact with Solosis, yes?  How long do you think it will take you to estimate where those individuals are?  And would me and Calam touching it be a problem?"

"No problem, no problem! I can do it in five minutes." He brings out Slurpuff and Growlithe and the three of them start investigating Solosis. The cards come out, and the three nasally-gifted characters soon come to a conclusion.

"Hmm. The last human to touch this Solosis is currently with another dozen humans, back in a cave almost in the beginning of our journey. The last being to touch this Solosis is something I can't identify, however. Probably a carbon-based Pokemon, no fur or anything distinctive. Very little scent. It's about 10 miles back. Should take about six hours to get there, yes."

A little over a dozen Scimitars, back at the start of their journey...dang.  "...sounds like they're not risking their necks down here until they know exactly where to go if they're only sending pokemon after us...and it sounds like we can't do anything about them unless we abandon this little trip to go deal with them..."

Hmmm...

"...you said that Rock type that you picked up in the other Solosis's scent was about ten miles back too, right?"

Huh, how 'they' were so far away came actually as quite a suprise for Shiva, as she has believed that 'they''re....way closer. Barely anything was visible about that suprise though, but it came with a portion of relieve - it seems like a direct confrontation descended into the future, as returning NOW to deal with 'them' and THEN return to where they currently were sounded like madness.

Though whatever was only six hours and 10 miles from them.... Carbon-based.... Could it be?

.....Whatever it was, that was totally within range and needs to be dealt with, and a determined attitude awoke.

"No, no, the Solosis you are holding is what smells like it encountered a Rock type. I am thinking it survived the same stampede we did. What I smelled ten miles back was a second Solosis. I think it might be closer now, maybe eight miles. It's slow. Very slow Pokemon at traveling. There are probably more Solosis beyond that, even. And one way ahead of us, too, but it has gone down the wrong tunnel. Teehee!"

Humm. A new train of thought awoke within her, one that has been abandoned before.

Rather hesitantly, these thoughts became words, adressed to everyone in a tone that was questioning. "So 'they''re using Solosis to track us? That's....clever. But is one of these really worth it traveling back these miles and hours to get it? Maybe not.... But how does it sounds if we'd indeed block their way by a controlled rockslide caused by our Pokemon in order to stop them from following us? If these Solosis can't follow us further, 'they' can't either. That one ahead of us - if we'd still happen to meet it despite it taking the wrong way, we can still deal with it."

"It's not a bad idea Shiva. If we make a controlled rockslide, we can slow then and give us time to payback then."

"...gotcha."

...

"...well, should we see what these Solosis have run into? Or carry on?  Either way, we need to deal with these Solosis whenever they get too close to us now that we have a way to track them.  Make sure they can't continue to send any data back to their 'friends' if they've managed to keep up with us.  Grid can disable the antennas with Thunder Wave.  It will hurt the Solosis in the process, but if they're Asleep instead of KOed, it might not hurt them seriously.  And I doubt these machines are easy to fix, considering they're embedded in the Solosis."

"No.  No cave ins or rock slides.  That's a bad idea.  We could trap ourselves down here way too easily."
