[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Hmpf. More arm-crossing and more thinking. "If not that, then I'd rather carry on as normal, pack up stuff and head to the northwest fork that you said will lead us further, Mr. Finder. If we'd want to deal with all Solosis that track us... it's somewhat equivalent to travel back almost completely, which costs time and resources. If these DO come too close, we can still deal with 'em."

Why are 'they' lurking near the entrance of Mount Sentry though? Do they wait until they're returning, to strike when they're most vulnerable? But by doing so, 'they' won't get to see the Library 'them'selves, is that intended? Questions over questions.

"That would definitely be my suggestion.  If they're slow moving, we can outpace them.  Their only chance to catch up is if we stop to rest or get blockaded or something.  It sounds like the Solosis travel through different tunnels that are above ours, then squeeze through gaps in the ceiling to investigate what's below in the main tunnels."

Nathan looks at Mr. Finder again.  "If any more Solosis seem like they're following the paths we're taking, do let us know, please.  The less information they get on where they need to go, the better. If any more of their scouts stumble upon our location, we need to disable their antennas."

"Alright. We DO need to rest however, but we can still take turns on the nightwatch so that everyone takes this duty a few times. If they're indeed traveling through different tunnels... Then that means the next time we meet gaps in the ceiling or wand or puddles of this green goo, we should deal with it right away now that we know what lies behind it."

"Do you agree to moving on then, Heart/@Spiritmon, Ven/@Lord Windos and Valder/@Nylon, or do you have other ideas or suggestions? If so, please share. Also.... What shall be done with that Solosis you've dealt with, Nathan?"

"And Gustav can shoot a few powerfull Bubbles or Water Pulse. Since its less problably that Antennas have defence against water, multi-hit moves might help."
@PhantomUnderYourDesk
"I was thinking about if we split up in groups. If the Solosis is following our path, maybe we can confuse them taking different paths and eliminated all the dangers of these Solosis? Sure, it migh be very much risk too to get separeted since there a lots of Scimitars in the entrance...thats something to consider..."

"No, please no seperating the group, Heart. Not down here.... How are we supposed to keep track of each other, and we also need Mr. Finder to find our goal. You can't splint in half, can you?" To express that Shiva's against that, she softly takes Ventus' hand (if he allows it).

"Yeah...bad idea indeed. Also, if we have the remote chance in encounter one of those Scimitars, we might need our full power. Argh, its times like this I would have bring Typhon or Percival. Typhon eletric powers could fry that machines of these Scimitars, and Percival could use his rock and steel attacks to cause rock slides...live and learning I supose. Anyway, I think we should move one yes. But we should time from time send some sort of scout to sometimes check some areas ahead in case of have danger/Solosis/Scimitars and then return to the group to inform the situation."

Heart make a serious face of determination. "I take that job. I be training and sharping my stealth skills here in Mt. Sentry for quite a while, and I the more furtive of the group. And have sharp a little my alert instict, so I may be capable of detect any danger ahead. And in case I receive any serious damage, I still have potions with me and have Gustav to use Mega Launcher as a last resource. And still have the Hurtloam and Revive in case my pokemons get faint. So I am very much ready for some dangers."

(That means we now have 3 out of 5 people of the group for moving on, Iron. Sufficient, I guess, but maybe Ventus or Valder still would like their input in a flashback.)

This opening earns a worried and somewhat....not too happy look from Shiva that she holds on Heart for a little longer than what'd be usual, before she speaks up to him in a lower voice than before. "If you're sure about that.... Then I guess we won't be able to stop you. But please, keep it limited and be careful. If your Pokemon faint, you can heal them. If YOU faint... We cannot do anything if you're not nearby and we don't even know where you are, your Pokemon won't know what to do and worse.... Ugh. Please don't let the danger overwhelm you, Heart. Okay?"

Valder's okay with whatever. He'll follow as usual, Theo by his side.

(Bah, sleeping in after a busy night and a whole lot of posts came up. Oh well, time to make an abridged one...)

-Ventus is a bit charinged and angry at the news that not only were their well over a dozen Scimitars, but they were cowardous enough to hang back all the way at the beginning of their mountain trail. He expresses such sentiments to the group, as well as his frustrations at the games they were playing.

-Unlike the rest of the group, Ven still advocates going after the Scimitars. He cites that while doing so would require taking them aaalll the way back and force them to tango with aaalll of them, leaving them alone was certainly going to cause more trouble than not, that dealing with their Solosis scouts/spies was a stop gap measure at best and a drain on resources unless they started killing them, and that since they know the general path up to this point they can quickly move through it at double speed. He also points out that since they have Repels going through the mountain would not be such an issue, and that by going all the way back and taking care of the Scims they could escort the police to them and prevent them from getting away + go back into town and re-stock on supplies like spent Pokeballs. He's fairly adamant about his choice, and wouldn't be swayed by their arguments.

-However, once it became apparent that the party favored the 'Ignore and Deal With the Scimitars as Needed' approach and continue onwards, his expression grows stony and thunderous, his eyes hardened, and he goes completely silent. He's extremely displeased with that plan of action, but due to group majority vote he goes along with it under duress. Because of it, though, he doesn't want to directly interact with anyone else in the group and avoid them at all cost, preferring to stay at a distance from everyone while he copes with his impotent rage and distaste with the situation. This lead to him shrugging off Shiva hand, standing up and telling everyone he'll begin packing up camp now that a course of action has been decided upon in a low, angry monotone, before doing as he indicated.

-He doesn't really care about Heart's plan to scout ahead, blowing it off entirely out of angry and the fact that deep down, past his rage, he believes that man is capable enough to just about anything he puts his mind to.

-Ven also make a hidden vow of killing everyone Scimitar Solosis he personally comes across, partially to prevent Nathan from wasting the group's resources and prevent a build up of hostile hostages they would all have to keep track of/take care of, partially out of spite fueled pragmatism towards both the Scimitars and the group.

-Ventus readies himself for the journey after everything is packed, with Malphena by his side with a somewhat worried and upset expression, as her master's behavior was far from what she come to expect and LIKE from him....

In short: Ven's wants to go all the way back and hunt those Scimitars down, but due to group conscesus he's forced to go along with their plan. He's very displeased by this, and as a result seperates himself from the main group and vows to eradicate any of the Scimitar forces should he come across them himself alone/first.

Ready to continue our journey!

"...like I said, Ralts, Calam, and I are going to keep a close eye on it.  I have some ideas for how the effects of the brainwashing might be reversed, but they're all above ground.  At the very least, bringing it with us will serve as evidence that somebody is up to no good if we can't reverse the effects.  I only need to keep track of the one.  Frying the antennas of any others we come across should suffice for stopping the rest we come across.  We put 'em to sleep with Hypnosis or Spore, use Grid's Thunder Wave to destroy the electronics while the Solosis is immobilized, then just move on.  Easy."

"...Valder, can I speak with you in private once we get on the move?  Nothing wrong or anything, I...just need to talk with you about something."

(It'll be another session of PMs if Valder is up for speaking with Nathan, @Nylon. That fine?)

@Lord Windos

...Nathan and Ralts stagger from the force of that emotion.  It's not pleasant to be feeling that at all.

...Nathan doesn't comment, but...he can't help but feel really...disappointed and think, '...you're so, so much better than that, Ventus...you're really lettin' Cynthia down...'

------------------------------------------

For all intents and purposes, I'm ready to get a move on too.
