Ven would probably still kill all the Solosis/Scimitar Pokémon he comes across regardless of hearing, as he's in extremely foul mood right now for his chance of VENGENCE against the Scimitars being denied/delayed unnecessarily (in his opinion). That, and given what Ven and me have seen of Nathan's merciful interactions with not so friendly Pokémon, could you blame me and him for making such an assumption?

The chances that Shiva will have Yena first faint, then devour any of these particular Solosis she encounters are high, and nothing can really stop her from doing so. No taking prisoners, no nonsense, and in this particular case it's reasoned for her to do so.

This post pleases me greatly, Dragonstrike! Always like seeing Kirlia showing their moves, especially on such a colorful stage as depicted in those cards! Party party party~!

We're not going after the Scimitars, though.  They're too far out of the way at this point for it to be practical.

I did specifically mention that he'd only auto kill Scimitar Solosis and other Scimitar Pokémon, not the Scims themselves. If one is stupid enough to leave their group and come all the way down to deal with our group, they rightly deserve getting pounded into the dirt before  being interrogated and being disposed of. Most likely non-Lethally, but if Ven manages to encounter a Scimitar alone.....well, we know how that will go.
