That Ditto's unique condition is a strange and mystifiying thing indeed.....but at least it might have access to all sorts of crippling Status moves, so their is that at least....

Yes, Ditto knows Poison Powder, Sleep Powder, and Stun Spore.  (and every other move that's 30 exp or less since Nathan has 3 gym badges right now)

It can also use Lucky Chant and Natural Gift!  Not that Natural Gift is very useful if it doesn't have a berry...aside from those...it has Mega Drain and Acid, I guess? No Giga Drain, Moonlight, Petal Dance, or Grassy Terrain until Nathan gets a couple more Gym Badges, unfortunately.

Also Windos, you're intimidating these Weavile? Cool. How this will bring a positive outcome, I do not know, as to me it feels treathening them might uprile the situation lead to a battle that I'd rather avoid if possible as there'll be Encounters later. If Shiva's words and proofs are in vain, I'll think off more things that might work instead and grant us a cleared path.

I know, but that's mostly because you're the only one that can use it reliably.  No need to state it.

Before we try getting aggressive and forcing our way past, there's one thing I want to try if the current tactics aren't working...and if THAT doesn't work, well...then I'm probably fresh out of good ideas.  But if it comes to my last ditch idea, then I'm all for giving it a try.

By the way, everyone can assume that Nathan has informed the party of the...'situation' with Ditto. Plan which encounters and risks you take accordingly since we're down 3 Mega Launcher boosted Heal Pulses until Ditto is no longer stuck being an Oddish.

Personally, I wouldn't have minded fighting the Weavile, as knocking them all out and then capturing them for sale would have been profitable too, assuming they didn't have anti capture beam mojo on them or something. Malphena probably would have been screwed, but Raphael would have given them quite a run for their money with his Nasty Plot fueled Aura Spheres!

Still, diplomacy has its place and purpose, and I am glad it helped us not to have to burn an Encounter in the process! Also, earned XP is always nice~!
