[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

Random comment that's probably still relevant: it's probably also better if Nathan doesn't have to try and deal with talking to Seikamater as well, and he's going to feel a lot better about the situation if he's actually doing something that he can accurately say is 100% helping the situation, so...yeah, definitely all up for him attempting to do the stealthy stuff instead of anything else.

The question is, DO we actually want to talk with Seika as some sort of distraction while the stealthy part of the plan is put into action or not? Certainly it'd be a risky thing, if at all I'd ask for either me or Ventus covering that part. Or both of us?

I think it should be better if Heart do the stealth stuff. With 9d6 and with the baashaun boots, it might help to get rid of these webs. It will be Nathan and Heart together or only of these two.

If I sink 12 exp into 2 points of Stealth, Nathan will have 10 D6 on the Stealth check (12 for Calam) before the Tailwind and/or boots.  The more characters who try to stealth as well, the more likely it is we'll be caught before everyone is free.

I'll say it's 7hp per web, and they'll be immune to types Bug resists. And vulnerable (+1 dmg) like a Bug, too. They have a Defense stat of 1.

A spread move can hit a maximum of 5 webs.

I reject the idea of two character doing the stealth, since that could over complicate the situation FAST or spell disaster. After all, all it takes is one of them getting caught to spoil the whole plan and force a bad situation....

If Nathan uses Calam alone with 2 Points in Stealth and all those buffs, they are stastically the best choice, as with its inherent + 1 DEX and Survival, Quick Attack, AND the Baaaa Boots he has the greatest chance of getting in, freeing them, and getting out. Heart has more Specialty in Stealth, but Nathan is still 'the best choice' due to Calam and having the highest DEX period, which with ANY Pokémon makes getting our Pokémon back a much less perilous proposition.....

Ew.  But then again, Raphael doesn't have a spread move, does he?  Sounds like we might have to be using Razor Wind for this...unless we want to try and break these webs by using Bubble, but then that means using either Gustav or Azu for that, and that'll be slower in other ways...

...this is gonna be long and hard, everyone.

If each Web constitutes a Target rather than them being a single mass, then Lucifer might be the best choice to free our Pokémon, as he can automatically learn Air Cutter right now, which is a High Crit Move Spread Move that can be spammed without charging it up like Razor Wind, and he has STAB and Wide Lens to boost its over all power. The cost is that he doesn't have a + 1 to DEX or Survival like Calam, he doesn't have QA or ES to get out pronto, and Nathan will be forced to dump points into Stealth in order to compensate for this, but hey, its a good shot if anything else! At the very least everyone else can distract Seika so he can do his job, with Calam and Dizzy leaping in to help (preferably by charging up Razor Wind and releasing them on the remaining Webs) once Stealth has been used up!
