The Pokemon who were captured will all be at -3 from exhaustion, but they don't have hit point loss.

Dizzy is running around, watching all the reunions, having a really fun time through everyone else's happiness. He keeps coming back to play with Ralts and Kirlia especially; he can feel their happiness more than any other Pokemon's.

A weary Slurpuff, carried by a muttering Mr. Finder, guides you down several tunnels with forks in them. "He's deliberately finding tunnels with multiple choices, trying to confuse our pursuers. There's also one more underground lake we could bathe in; it'll only add a few hours to our journey if we use Rock Smash."

As you follow these paths, Slurpuff isn't sensing any nearby signs of pursuit yet!

Once the initial happiness of Ralts and Kirlia dies down a little, Nathan of course has to care for his other pokemon too.

For Solomon, this was probably equally fascinating and terrifying due to his interest in legends, myths, and history and his typing.  He gets a hug from Nathan too.

As for Zippy...well, if Nathan doesn't squish him, he definitely gets a hug as well.  This must have been a terrible, terrible experience for him especially...Nathan wants to make sure Zippy isn't too shaken up by the ordeal...

Nathan makes sure to give Lucifer back to Ventus in exchange for Ditto.  Nathan's extremely grateful to Lucifer for his help, and to Ditto as well for very likely having saved their lives singlehandedly.  Ditto gets another hug too!  Lucifer and Calam will have to wait on theirs since Nathan doesn't want to cause them any additional pain by rubbing sensitive patches of skin the wrong way.

Same with Dizzy and Yule and Swiftfire since they all played important roles too!

Yeah, Nathan's a hugger.

Nathan is all for taking additional measures to throw those bugs off their tail.

Plus, he needs a proper break after everything that happened...hopefully they find a suitable campground soon...

He does have one question for Kirlia on the way: "...so...you've evolved again...which is...well, spectacular, frankly...but now that raises another question now...do you want to...evolve into Gallade now since we have access to a Dawn Stone?  Well, not right this moment...maybe tomorrow morning...or...would you rather stay as a Kirlia for a little bit before evolving?  I know it doesn't matter too much to you...but I'd still like to hear your honest opinion.  Evolution is a big deal, after all...particularly Stone evolutions, since those basically redefine what most pokemon can and can't do in almost every case..."

Nathan nods.  "Alright.  You let me know when you're ready then, okay?"

She averted her gaze from the others, threw a glance to Valder and Mr. Finder safely on Mamo still running, if Dizzy is still out and running Shiva does recall him now into his Ball, then she gave Ventus/Heart/Nathan another unreadable look. "Treat the wounds if you must, we'll meet up with you later! We're not in total safety just yet as the bugs may still get us, so me and Mamo will continue fleeing further down the tunnel until we've come to a secure place, until it's safe to say that the bugs can't come after us anymore, or until something stands our way. Stay safe and don't fail on this NOW THAT WE'VE SURVIVED THE HARDEST PART PLEASE!" She salutes, before she makes a sweeping gesture to Valder and Mr. Finder on Mamo's back and pointed forward, clearly signalling them to not stop and instead follow her.

If Ventus were in a better state of mind and mood he might have been estatic that his girlfriend decided to continue fleeing from the furious Siekamater and her hive, but seeing as he wasn't he simply returned her look with his professional look of his own, nodded his head, and waved her down the tunnel. Right now, his priority was treating Calam and his brother's injuries before the worsened before keeping the group together, so looks like its divide and conquer from here on out.

"Keep it Ventus. You might need later." Heart stop them when he search his own bag and take one Hurtloam. "Here. But I believe it's not time for such thing. We can threat them later. Seikamater and her minions is coming this way fast. We must go. NOW."

Nathan takes that Hurtloam from Heart so it can be used on Calam.  Let's wait until after the results of the Stabilization rolls to do so, though.  Just in case.

But he refuses to move until Calam and Lucifer are treated.

"...if we move, we don't know when we'll be able to stop.  They need basic treatment, and they need it now, or things are only going to get worse for them.  Now, please don't distract me.  I...need to focus."

Heart give a slap in Nathan face. "That's enough focus to you? If we stay here, Calam, Lucifer and everyone who we risk to save will die. If you want to risk everyone life, risk yourself. There is a line about sacrifice yourself and sacrifice others." Heart then turn his back. Heart know it's useless to talk Nathan so he looks to him as like saying goodbye to a friend. "...Ventus let's go. Take Lucifer with you. We can't stay here." No waiting response Heart begin to run in the direction of Shiva and everyone.

The researcher was a bit caught off guard by Heart's intervention, and even more so when they decided to manhandled Nathan for their reasonable (if not very convenient) prompt medical care of their critically injured Pokémon. When they ask him to come along with him, however, he snapped out of it as his expression firmed up and he plainly said: "No, Heart. I'm staying with Nathan until our Pokémon are treated, as we can't let their condition deteriorate any further to the point it becomes untreatable for us. That, and I can't leave him undefended while he's doing this, so go on without us."

He then turns his attention away from the rare collector and focuses it on Nathan and their Pokémon, as they were the most pressing concerns for the empath.

Nathan just stops what he's doing entirely when Heart does that and then runs off immediately afterwards.  Unfortunately, it means Lucifer (who is still conscious, unlike Calam) is still in a lot of pain from his injuries since Nathan hasn't started trying to treat them yet.  Calam's current Lethal damage was at least patched up with that Potion.

...the bottom line is he wants to save them...he wants to keep the resources that needs to be spent on doing so to a minimum...

...he's floundering a little in his attempts to try and figure out what the best course of action is right now, though...

...he doesn't want to be asking that in front of Lucifer right now, as the bat is at risk of fainting from his injuries becoming more serious, but...

Still looking professional and utterly calm/collected as ever, the sociologist place a hand on the boy's shoulders to stabilize them after he listened to them, and nodded his head.

"We have enough time to finish Stablizing them both and giving them some minor treatment, so proceed as you were, Nate. If we have to move them quickly at some point, we can do so with Swiftfire in an instant, so do not overly worry yourself. Leave that to me."

Maybe a little humor would lighten them up, even though he doesn't feel in a feeling jolly mood at all for it himself.

He was  relieved/glad when they managed to patch both their Pokemon up and escape the Kingdom of Seikamater, as assuring the health of his dear brother and his companion's partner and more definitely escaping the clutch of HER was a great boon indeed!

When they all came together again, Ventus decided to give Nathan his privacy and deliberately keep his attention away from him and his tearful reunion with Ralts, completely missing the Evolutionary Event and the following exchange between them. He did that mainly to give the boy and himself the time to resolve their own respective tangled ball of highly stress, frayed and deleterious emotion and come down off their adrenaline in peace, but also because he frankly didn't want to spoil such a touching scene inadvertidly.

Soon enough he'd be ready to pass out from the EXHAUSTING events of the day, but he's willing to keep himself up and going if it means getting further away from Seikamater, even if it means following an extra sequortious route laid out by Mr. Finder and Slurpuff!

"Lead the way then, Mr. Finder. I think we all would hate being captured by Seikamater post escape, so let's take every measure to prevent that, shall we?"

Eventually, you dig and wander until you reach a good place to camp a few miles past the underground lake.

Quick Flashback!


Oh, Shiva didn't mind at all that Dizzy seemingly desired to play with Ra...... Kirlia. She witnessed the evolution, if only from the light that came from where the others currently were, and once the psychic dancer and Nathan came back she would gift them an appreciating smile but otherwise kept silent. She's tired...upriled....but physically totally fine except from a few scratches from falling rubble, these will heal off quickly.

Dizzy can stay with Kirlia for the rest of Day if the former likes, but tomorrow she's expecting him to be at her side again. If Nathan would like to fully evolve his starter, whenever that'll be, he'll just have to kindly approach Shiva and ask for the stone she keeps.

She's also very up to take the path that'll bring them to the underground lake, there exhausted Tropius and Mightyena can drink and she can wash off any remaining hive gunk. A bit of it she keeps.... If only because she usually keeps a lot of things.

Perfect!  Time for everyone to wash up as appropriate to mask their scents from those bugs, assuming the water is clean enough for it.

For Nathan, this downtime also means checking on Calam and Lucifer to make sure they're doing okay.  He has more time to do so now that there's no need immediate need to flee and stay on the move.

And he also asks Ventus for help when doing so.  And he has something to say to the orange haired researcher as well... @Lord Windos

"...thank you for helping back there, Ven...I...don't think I would have managed to treat them without your help...you were definitely right about lightning strikes being very similar to burns...heh...so weird to think about...a burn that could even scorch a Fire type..."

Kirlia goes over to Calam and sits next to him to keep him company.  They're both rather tired after that harrowing experience.  Calam gives the Psychic type an intrigued glance.  He's not really surprised that Ralts evolved, though he is just a tad disappointed that he missed it happening again...

Nathan smiles at the scene.  "...yeah, you missed his evolution, unfortunately.  Good news, though: I don't think you'll have to miss when he evolves again.  Kirlia wants to wait a little bit before we evolve him into a Gallade.  I'm certain he'll make a fine swordsman...he'll be Night Slashing with the best of 'em (meaning Calam, obviously) soon enough."

Kirlia also looks at Lucifer and gives him a genuinely grateful bow.  No longer does he have any doubts and dislikes about the bat pokemon.  The days when he got upset about Lucifer looking at that Clamperl Pearl funny are long gone now...

In fact, despite how tired he is, Kirlia's going to try to use a few Heal Pulses as thanks to help patch up Calam, Lucifer, and Ventus.  Just as a little thank you for everything they did.  And because they're also the three that got roughed up the most out of everyone during the course of that battle.

Heal Pulse!
Accuracy: 5 + 3 + 3 - 3 Exhaustion = 8 D6
Heal Pool: 3 D6 for Calam, 4 D6 for Lucifer, and 5 D6 for Ventus!

Oh, and as for Solosis, Herolune Ditto is standing guard over it currently.  Despite the 'type disadvantage', Herolune Ditto is still faaaarrr stronger than the little blob with only 1 HP remaining.  Just doing his job!

So, I don't think anybody's said anything concerning this yet.  Who's doing the night watch tonight?  I think Nathan (and Herolune Ditto, for obvious reasons) would probably want to take one tonight.
