Ventus waits, his expression pensive as Lilith divined the answer to his plea, until the vision involving Ditto was broadcasted before him and he grasped what she was getting at. His expression seemed to shift into deeper despair for a moment to the underlying implication that most paths in the future defaulted into less than desirable outcomes without intervention, before he shook his head to dispel that cloud of misery and firmed up, as he solemnly nodded to the fortune teller.

"So be it then. I will do everything it takes then to make a happy, prosperous future for my family and friends, so long as it doesn't cost me everything in the process. Endure, overcome, and Survive.......such things come naturally to me, so I have no excuse for failing this. None at all...."

Given his naturally high intuition and excellent body language reading, he guess that Lilith was contemplating showing him more, to which he responded: "If you wish to share with me more......powerful vision, then I am perfectly fine with that. Unlike the last time, I am fully prepared for such an experience, and beyond that my mind is still numbed and fuzzy from my.....confrontation with Seikamater, so any Pain I feel from this will be negilgeble. If not, though, we can just sit here or continue our walk through the Long Grass and enjoy this peaceful atmosphere, my friend."
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

Phew, on the second thought Shiva felt lucky that this HOWLING didn't cause a scene in this peaceful cavern, it'd allure questions from the others later; and she couldn't really say "I've ended up battling against a graceful that was almost as bit as me."

With a pleased smile she watched as Liepard was sharping her claws, this will mean a spectacular final act. This earned her more praise!: "I'm sorry for such an agressive action, Liepard! C...consider it as some sort of test how much a big exemplar of your magnificient species can endure. You took it quite well - the exemplars of your species that I know wouldn't be able to stand on all paws after a hit. You can be...proud of you!"

"I'll hold back a little for now. Now, come at me, show me your moves and let us make a grand final, but please remember to not faint my dog! Yena... charge and slam into the huge cat, please."

---------------------------------
Accuracy Roll just a Tackle now!: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 3*Brawl - 1 Pain = 7d6
Damage Roll: 4*Strength + 2 Power of the move, no STAB = 6d6
Additional notes: Liepard seems to have 3 Vitality. That means if all remaining dice succeed, she's 'out of this battle'. Therefor we will NOT hold back, but IF this accidently faints Liepard due to a Crit, Shiva will instantly wake her with a Hurtloam.

The hat is lifted briefly. Gothitelle's eyes close, and you imagine you can sense the awakening of her Third Eye.

The cavern's ceiling splits as reality distorts; all of you can see this.
A meteor crosses the night sky.
The Helix Nebula shines brightly, zooming in on you, filling your soul with rage. It looks like a single great Eye.
The Whimsicott constellation, the sign of the ram, crumbles away as its stars wink out one by one, leaving only a few dim stars at its base. Black holes and quasars pour out in an endless stream. Among them, they bear constellations indicating weaponry: Cobalion, Bisharp, Aegislash, Shelmet. The Pokemon represented by these constellations are clear to your eyes, though in reality they are just a few clustered dots.
Together, the constellations surround the meteor and move it onto a new course.
The scene shifts to ten new stars, six bright and four dim.
Shiva's mouth opens and a most unusual voice comes out, much akin to the one used by the Fortune Teller in Ginger Town: "THE SIX AND THE FOUR...."

The connection fails. Shiva feels the force of prophecy suddenly leave her; she had only the most tenuous, fleeting connection with it.

Gothitelle opens her eyes and replaces her cap. She gets up and wanders back to Shiva, still holding the meteorite.

Liepard Round 2

Tackle
(5)(4)(2)(4)(6)(6)(6) Critical hit.
(5)(6)(1)(2)(5) Liepard takes 3 dmg and is now at 1hp.

She starts to leap forward anyway, until Shiva calls out this means the end of the points.

Liepard waits to see how she did before she decides where to go from here.

"...okay...not social, period...I see..."

...

Hmmmm...

"...well, that's...a shame, really...I think I know someone who would be very happy to meet you...and frankly...I owe him..."

Nathan looks at Calam.  "Well?  Want to get a little practice in?  The exercise would probably be good."  If Calam doesn't want to give battling this Shedinja a go, then we'll use Swiftfire instead.

Nathan's not gonna leave until this Shedinja has been caught!  Probably much to the bug's annoyance.

Calam will do it.

Calam: (5) + 10 = 15
Shedinja: (2) + 3 Dex + 3 Survival = 8. Pretty fast for a husk, but not as fast as Calam!

*Whoosh * Was the sound that Ventus made as the vision concluded, experiencing no pain from it this time around but instead quite the heady sensation as the feelings conjured by it briefly coursed through his mind before abruptly departing.

'The EYE.....the wrath it inspired in me....the creation and destruction of constellations.....correcting the course of a meteor from on high......six by four........what does it all mean? I don't think I'll have much fortune deciphering this by myself, so its best I confer with the others about this vision, and gain their Insight as to what events it represents, and what Lilith was trying to tell us with it......' he though, as he slowly came to himself and stood up himself to limber up after sitting for so long.....until he noticed that the astrologist  had wandered off and left him alone and without his meteorite!

Standing their for a moment......Ventus just shrugged it off and made his way back to the central point the group designated as a meeting spot. To him, it fine if Lilith hold onto the MSC Meteorite for awhile and enjoy it, as its not like he has any use for it right this moment. He'll just get it back later.

That, and feeling like some of his stressful burden had been lightened with sharing his woes with her, he figured her holding onto it for now would be partial payment for her generosity. He didn't feel entirely better, mind you, but he no longer felt as soul wearied and that he could continue the quest for Antheneum with confidence, and that was enough for him. He'll recover his good cheer soon enough.

Awesome.

"Well, no offense intended to you Shedinja, but I do want to introduce you to that person I owe.  He's a nice guy at heart.  And I think this battle should do Calam some good, so I think this is a win-win in the long term.  Calam, careful not to strain yourself too much, alright?  Try to shut that bug down before it can do anything too disruptive and use as many attacks as you feel comfortable with without making your chances to hit too low, alright?"

Taunt
Accuracy: 6* + 3 + 0 - ? Actions - ? Exhaustion = 9 D6 base
Effect: No status moves for Shedinja!  (Wonder Guard can't block this!)

Night Slash! x? (non-lethal, going to let Calam decide how many moves he uses)
Accuracy: 6* + 3 + 3 - ? = 12 D6 base
Damage: 3 + 3 + STAB + BG + SE = 8 D6 base + 1 Damage (though if it's not SE for some reason, Wonder Guard Blocks it)
Effect: crits with 3 successes!
