Still quite willing to trade for it if Nathan manages to capture it, perhaps even more so than before!

Illusion: it ALWAYS getcha the first time! I was actually wondering a while back if we were going to see one of them during the campaign, but I guess this answers my question soundly! Seeing it make me think of Larry Jr , though, and I'm not sure that's a good or bad thing.

Horay? Of course, given that for a Zoroa to evolve into a Zoroark they have to do 'Evil Deeds' of some sort, this fox could be more wily/worse morally speaking. Then again, that wouldn't bother Ventus one bit!

Been wondering how valuable a wild Shedinja and Zoroark is in terms of Poke, since I AM going to be trading for them if Nathan managed to bag them, and I'd like a base price so we can haggle around it.

Because Ghost is a very favorable type for it to copy...and Shedinja are mute (Zoroark are mute while disguised) and share a couple of moves that Zoroark can learn naturally.  Seems reasonable to me.

Plus, I personally think Shedinja and Gengar are some of the best pokemon for Illusion to copy in Zoroark's case (provided entry hazards don't screw the ruse immediately)

Zoroark is a hard sell because of the aforementioned evil deeds. All dark types are. Maybe 3k on the black market.

Lol.  I taunted mostly because I didn't want to get Grudged or Confused or Spited.

Yeah, probably would have still fallen for it if Imprison had gone off.  Masq has Mimic after all (though it is a universal TM/Tutor move in gen 1/3, so...), so a Shedinja with Imprison wouldn't have seemed that strange mechanically...particularly since Shedinja could also technically still have access to Night Slash.

If its possible (AKA: They don't try to run away or attack you), might you lead Zoroark towards Ventus so they could talk with each other after your done persuading them, so that they can get to know each other personally? I think there's potential for an interesting scene between them, as its quite rare that Ven or just about ANYONE can be completely upfront they are not so good as they seem, except to possibly another 'bad' guy.
