Then, in somewhat different and determined tone of voice but also way lower she added once more thing: "THEY....will pay."


She greatly appreciated to remain in his hug for a few moments longer until she was sure that she'll be okay. She'll take his words to her heart, she will 'let this strengthen her', and not allow it to 'cripple or even twist' her. No. That's not...worth it. Strength and confidence is what she desires, and there's no room to be down.

".....I will not claim killing these Reuniculi was an inherently good thing, but it is what I believe to be the case. Whether or not you share my views on the matter.....that is up to you, my dear. What they've done, not only to these innocent Pokémon but to us and the region as a whole.....its unforgivable. They are vile, loathsome, and evil beings that deserve none of our sympathy, so mark my words: they all will suffer for their crimes, one day...."

He hangs his head in slight defeat and sobs a little.

...this is far from solving all the issues, but it's at least accounted partially for the immediate one.  Kirlia motions to Ventus to let him take care of Nathan from here  (Side note: Malphena's (and currently Ventus's to an extent) presence is making Kirlia just a liiiitle more uncomfortable, too...probably not the time for Malphena to be fawning over Kirlia's evolution (I do imagine she was likely quite surprised about it) though, even though this is the first time she'd be seeing him in his 'new' form).  It'll be all right given enough time.  Kirlia is still grimacing a little despite trying to hide it, though.  That one Reuniclus is still experiencing a lot of Pain...

Surpringly Ventus didn't sigh or make an expression of disagreement/distaste at the boy's decision, but instead only nod his head and glanced at Kirlia with an understanding gleam in his eyes, before he turned to give them some privacy, with Lucifer and Malphena following closely behind. The former was a bit sad to see one of his friends in such a bad state, but knew that messing with him right now wasn't a good idea, and the later, while indeed more than a little intrigued by Kirlia's new looks, preferred not to rile them up/ingraciate herself when they were in so much torment. That, and that blasted Calam was lurking around, and while she did not doubt she could give him a nasty case of frostbite, neither did she want to give him the chance to retaliate or stalk her later. Bah, Dark types.....useless wastes of breath!

It only takes you about twenty minutes to reach the source of Mr. Finder's pursued scent. In a little tunnel, as unremarkable as any other, the rough floor suddenly becomes worked gray stone. Similar to a patio you might find in any backyard...except for the mansized ebony pillar rising from its center, almost to the ceiling. The pillar is unornamented, aside from a slight spiral ledge around it. The area feels no different, though the gravity is still very high. No sense of power emanates from the stone.

@Nylon Valder knows the runes to place on this stone. Ready?

Ventus made sure to keep more than a respectable distance away from that Pillar, eyeing it waryly and ready to turn tail and flee at the first signs of 'transformative' supernatural power, no matter what. He's ready for this as he'll ever be, so no point in delaying it any longer and racketing up the tension.

The sociologist was a bit startled to be so directly given praise for his newly minted fallen angel's Evolution, since everyone else seemingly accepted it in silent ascent, but he recovered quickly and offered Heart a delighted smile as he nodded his head. "Thank you, my friend. Yes, we certainly have to find a time to test the mettle of our Dragons against each other, though we should take care not to let them get too rough with each other. They are fiercely competitive and dominating Pokémon type, after all."

Remembering what Ventus asked the noble Slowking earlier about a chance to avoid the elusive change forever and seeing how he kept his sceptic distance, almost automatically one of Shiva's hands reached out to find Ventus'; and after having interlaced fingers and giving it a reassuring squeze, she slowly let go of it again. Was this...the last contact before things will be different? How....will it be? The told change will be for good, the fae enthusiast was positive about it.... Yet, now she couldn't help but to feel a tad bit insecure what it'll bring.

She didn't avert her gaze from the precious pillar though, and made sure Dizzy was by her side.
EDIT: Oh right... If there is enough room in the tunnel, Gothitelle gets summoned by Shiva's side, in return for Yena. Shiva said she wanted to experience things with her, after all!

At.....at.......at THAT SIGHT, Shiva's former grief and pain ends up being put aside almost immediately (that, and she had twenty minutes of time to do nothing but think and conclude with her actions), only to be replaced with a glowing feeling of joy, wonder and pure amazement. Despite the stone isn't even radiating any power yet, but THIS can only be the Relic Stone Dr. Hypericac has mentioned so long ago! She had to unmistakable gasp and pluck Cottonee from her head to hold her close to herself while trying to see the end of the pillar.

(Yes, ready!~ I've redrawn the runes on paper from your description and already showed you once. Shall I post it in the thread as well?)

Calam just ignores Malphena.

Malphena was just casually indifferent towards Kirlia's irritation at her grudge and bitterness filled feelings toward Calam, as she was entitled to her own opinion of the Dark type (and of them in general) like he was, even if it wasn't a particularly flattering one. Its also sorta their fault she's so opposed toward the scarred mountain cat due to involving them to ward her off instead of not doing so, so really he should be unhappy with himself instead of her. You set the precedent, and you suffer the consequences, so don't get snippy at her, mister!

Heart blush a little for the confusion. "Heh, sorry. I sometimes get confused with nomeclature between HM and TM. I dont like the sound about you say with "important details", but I guess we will be okay. Sure, you can tell us when we return to the surface Warren. I would like to ask you something: Do you guys want me to go foward to check if we may find any other kind of surprise? Just send me the word and I scout ahead."

Nathan doesn't comment and goes back to trying to sort himself out.

Kirlia shakes his head in response to Heart, then goes back to helping Nathan out.

Calam also shakes his head in response to Heart.  Better they go in as a group in his opinion.  Nobody going ahead or left behind since there's no telling what's ahead and there's enemies behind.  (Side note: He still looks a little tired from the Seikamater encounter, but he's definitely improved a little since then. Still gonna take some days to fully heal, though. Lucifer seems to have drawn the better straw in this case, maybe in part due to his evolution.)
