[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
Just one thing to clarify: If we find the HM-Fly, Heart want to keep the FLY HM and become his guardian. Of course it a group reward, but he want to guard the HM since its is dangerous let Nathan keep all the HMs so it is a best aproach if each one of us keep one of those HMs.

We can figure out who holds on to what when we actually get the item.  No need to discuss that now.

Everyone's seen the picture of Nathan's family, so Luxray is definitely a known.  I think it's fairly obvious who Max (the blue tinted Rapidash that I don't think anybody has associated the name with IC yet) and Luxray belong to since they're standing behind their respective trainers in the photo (the picture was posed).

We totally missed that there's a gym there since we had to rush through the area last time.  Between that and the Fly HM, I'd say that's more than enough reason to return there.

There's also gyms in Elanor, Botanville, and Tumbleweed Town.

The gym itself is actually in the Preserve Station, knows Nathan.

Agreed! The group can head over their ASAP with all our Teleporting Pokémon's help (with the Teleport Pokémon being sent back to pick up the members that don't have one themselves later), and Ven has reasons besides the Gym to head over them, so let's get on that people! Heck, with Fly it might be possible to just discretely Fly onto Garliburg without trying to get authorization, unless they are watching the skies and have air defenses in place. Still risky and illegal, but its possible!

Ven doesn't immediately make the connection imo, so the fact that its likely Nathan's father may be the author is still a shock to him. The plot thickens indeed.....

Heck yeah! But lets make some preparations okay: Recover some money, train some pokemon, buy a few items, bond with Delta Onix, fight Tanuki. Yara yara yara. We still have some time.

We already established that you cannot send a Teleporting Pokemon back without a trainer.

FLY is very fast and difficult to counter. Military tech might be able to do it, but most people won't be able to stop you from getting places once you have it.

I think you mean with Natu's help.  Arrowroot is a little too far away for a normal Teleporter.
And yup, I was thinking that about Fly, too.
I think our two choices for where to go next after Cress City are:
- Teazel Valley and the Safari Zone, then Elanor
- Arrowroot and the Nature Preserve
Both have a gym at the end.  One is shorter and has a potential HM at the end of it, then can lead into another big plot point.  The other is longer and packed with more stuff on the way to the gym (rare pokemon, Safari Cup, Sun Stones, Deyo Flower fields aplenty, etc.).  Nathan also has good reason to go in either direction.  But we also have to keep in mind that we're probably not the only ones looking for Genesect Fossils...

Edot: we also might have to walk to Arrowroot again. Botanville has another gym on the way, though!
