Delibird gives Shiva a scarlet feather from an adult Delibird.

Shiva places it behind her ear in thankfulness, where it will look rather nice. Young Delibird can stay a little longer out with her and present during that....emergency meeting Ventus has announced. Shiva's tired and wishes for nothing more than a fine dinner, a shower and then cuddle up into a comfy bed in a dorm of the Center, but it seems like it'll be a loooong night.

Heart sigh. "What a good way in return. I have a bad feeling about this Nathan." Heart look to Nathan. "Lets go. We need to see what gonna happen. This looks like deadly serious."

"...uh...yeah...sure..."

Nathan turns to Mr. Finder and quietly whispers to him.

"...is it okay if I get you your share of the big reward later?  I need to find the right person to sell it to first..."

When the group eventually recovers from Ventus' …..disgruntled departure and made their way to the Pokémon Center, the Nurse would direct them to a Private Room seated at the veeeery back of the building. Inside, seated at a table large enough for everyone in the group comfortable to also sit, was Ventus. Spread out in front of the researcher was a large number of items in three neat little piles, with the Shock/Burn Drive, The Silverfish Report Book, Gem Halve and a Pokeball in one pile, his Fast Incubator, Crafting Book, and what looks to be a neatly folded piece of Snake Skin from Apsis in another, and a Fishing Rod, Buck Knife, Wide Lens, and another Pokeball in the last one.

Ven was cradling his head with one hand as you entered and seemed.....sad and tired, but when the group entered he sat up fully and compossed a mask of utter calm neutrality, and motioned at the table, saying to them : "Sit. I'll explain why I called you all here once you made yourselves comfortable, so please...."

Heart was a worry face. He sit in one of the chairs and try to make himself comfortable. "Whats wrong Ventus? Why did you call us so much quick?"

With fear and a good amount of concern Shiva took a seat directly at Ventus' right side, Cottonee as the Pokemon that can comfort her in hard times best safely in her arms. She didn't say a word, but from the look of things..... She's smart enough to ASSUME what his reason for this emergency meeting could be, but she immediately banns this thougth from her mind. It can't be true....

.....can it?

"Of course. I'm ready to be done adventuring. Here's my PC # so you can wire the money to me. Just let me take a picture of your Trainer Card for accountability." He takes a pic and is ready to leave for his home.

"I'll definitely send it to you later.  Thank you oh so much for your help.  We wouldn't have been able to do it without you."

Hey, somebody had to say it since everyone else ran off already.

Nathan stops in front of the door (after closing it) when he sees the stuff spread out on the table.

Namely, when he sees the Silverfish Report Book on the table along with the two Drive Replicas...and why are Ventus's Gemstone Half and a pokeball  on the table next to them?

He's silent.  Doesn't know what's going on, isn't sure what to say...he certainly doesn't want to say anything about what the journal and the Red and Yellow chips are since Heart doesn't know anything about Genesect to Nathan's knowledge...

Kirlia has to urge Nathan to take a seat.  He's seated, he's listening...

...and he has a really, really bad feeling abut all this.

Once everyone settled down, Ventus looked at each and everyone, vividly feeling their apprehension, discomfort, and awful premonitions, and his calm composure just.....fractures as he look tired and miserable once. He cups his face with both hands for a moment and lets out a heavy *Sigh* that was BRIMMING with negativity, recomposed himself just enough so that he didn't feel like he would slump forward in guilt and misery mid announcement. When he removed his hands and clasped them both together in front of him, he stared off into space for a minute, before closing his eyes, letting out a another *Sigh*, re-opened them, and FINALLY spoke what has prompted him to call this grim meeting:

"Everyone...….I called this meeting today to make an announcement. One that I am sure you've all been dreading....including myself. …..*Sigh* There is no soft or easy way to say this, I will be blunt: I am leaving the group.  By tomorrow morning, I will be heading towards Corsage to sell of the Rare Pokémon I've capture, before making my way to Stair City and seeking employment with Dagney as one of her aides and troubleshooters, or returning to Trillum Town and working more closely with Dr. Mallorn failing that. In front of me are three piles of Items you've no doubt been curious of, and the reason they are their is they are my.....farewell gifts to you all."


"My dear...... I leave my Crafting Book, Snake Skin, and Fast Incubator to you, and one other....gift I will give to you in private. With you talented hands and excellent talent in breeding, I know you will put these all to good use. To Nathan, I leave.....these pieces of tech and one of my most treasured research reports, my Gem Halve, and Delta Forrestress. I trust you will put them to....better use than I ever could.....and finish what I started in my stead. Heart, I will leave you my Good Rod, Buck Knife, Wide Lens, and a Marowak. For a esteemed collecter and resourceful person as yourself, I know that all of these will come in handy. My trusted mercenary Valder, while I do not have a pile of Items for you, I plan to send you my Scyther, along with a Metal Coat and enough Poke to cover the cost of admitting it to the Disobedience Camp hosted in Stair City- ask the rest of the group about it for more details- once I get the Poke for all of it. You deserve this and more for all the good you've done for me and the group, and I hope you can continue such a fine job after I am gone."

".....This decision of mine is non-negotiable, and final. If you wish to ask me WHY I am leaving now, however.....then you are free to, but I can't promise you'll like or understand my reasoning. I....owe that much to you, and much, MUCH more...…"

Saying all that, Ventus tilted his head downwards and went silent, avoiding everyone's no doubt.....explicit reactions to that TERRIBLE news. He's not looking forward to the questions, but as he said, it was the least he could do for dropping THIS on them on such short notice.

The battle you promised we would have? About, well, everything! You just gonna go, just like that?" Heart try his best to hold his tears. He is very sensitive about friends say goodbye.

Nathan just sits there in quiet, stunned silence.  Kirlia looks really sad, but he starts gathering Ventus's farewell gifts to Nathan and putting them in his best friend's bag (although Kirlia is a little hesitant to handle the Delta Foretress's pokeball at first)
