"...I'll have to discuss something with Ayame first, but I think I just might take you up on that offer.  Let's head to the Center, get our pokemon healed up, and then go from there once I've had a little talk with the bee."

"...I'll have to discuss something with Ayame first, but I think I just might take you up on that offer.  Let's head to the Center, get our pokemon healed up, and then go from there once I've had a little talk with the bee."

Fluidity gave a agreeable shrug of their shoulders at your suggestion, and together you made a quick trip to the Pokémon Center and had all you Pokémon restored to Full Health! The Odd person then informed you of a private room they would be booking to continuing discussing business, while you ended up heading to your bedroom in the Center to have a chat with Ayame about being potentially traded away....

The ninja's bee response to the news was.....mixed. On the negative side, she seemed to deflate at the possibility of being separated from you, Lady Mew, and Bug Lady, all of whom see considers at least good enough friends/people to abandon her hive in the first place. Positively, though, she also expressed curiosity and interest in Fluidity due to their personality and mannerisms more closely mirroring her own (They're both eccentrics of a kind of their given species, and always seems chipper!), and she was also fascinated by the She-Volbet she fought + was favorable to getting to know them better.

Overall, Ayame was more or less evenly divided on the issue. She didn't mind too much at possibly being Traded away, and in fact seem a little eager to get to know Fluidity and some of their Pokémon more, but at the same time she'd be just as happy staying in your care and smothering you in affection/attention. Choice is pretty much up to you, mate!

Reiner, Spiritmon just had the most wonderful idea!  You could have Arial tell Riza to go get a GTH Beedrill for Fluidity!  And as compensation for...interrupting Riza's search to get you a Froslass, you could offer to get that Razor Fang in return.  Should curb some of that grumpiness, I think.

I didn't ask for your opinion, ya know...but it is a good idea, I'll give it that much...

After mulling things over for a moment...

"Well, Ayame is rather divided on being traded, as I expected.  I had an idea while thinking about what to do about that, though...what if I said I happen to know someone who could get you a GTH Beedrill without putting themselves at great risk?  I'll handle compensating them for the trouble, and it should only take them a few hours at most to get one.  You get a bee, I get an icy ghost, Ayame doesn't have to worry about being traded away, and nobody gets stung by angry bees.  Sounds like a win-win to me."

Ayame perked up GREATLY from that confident reassurance, as it caused her to rise back up high into the air and happily *Clanks-Tack!* her stingers together, and then rush forward to give you warm, buzzing hug! Not only does she gets to stay with all her friends, but gets to make a brand new one too?! Bzzz, Yay , Bzzz!!!

Fluidity at first seemed a tiny bit taken aback by your counter offer, but that faded away as they then mulled it over while looking downwards and tapping their chin. It didn't take long for them to come to a decision, though, as they *Clapped!* their hands together and grinned at you with keen interest and joy!

"My my, you are just full of clever ideas and brilliant solution, are you not good sir? Hm hm, such cunning proposal...how could I possibly refuse it? You have deal! Hopefully your associate can obtain one safely and in good health as you assure, but if not....well, let's not think of such grim possibilities until we have to, oui?"

After saying that, the eccentric thrill seeker then twists around and reaches into their bag/Inventory, until they pull out what looked to be a slab of vacuum seal, rich red meat labeled 'Lucky Lion Loin' and passed it over to you.

"Oh, and before I forget, here's a treat for your Arbok to make up for how....roughly that He-Tsareena treated him. Its a rare and extraordinary delicacy among carnivores everywhere, where its widely reported that dining on just one bite one can't helped but feel blessed! Normally I wouldn't dream of parting with such a rarity, but...well....I believe your snake will gain far more use out of this than myself or the rest of my collection of Pokémon."

Effect: Grants a + 2 Luck Surprise! to the user, makes all Luck Based Surprises (which include Critical Hits and modifications thereof) reduced to 1/3 of their normal cost, and gives the user 7 XP. Cooking it well DOULBES the benefits, but that requires an Insight + Knowledge + Craft/Cooking Roll Success total of 5 or higher, and any lower ruins the meat and halves the benefits instead.

They wave off your own surprise at the L.L.L. , simply saying : "Think nothing of it, good sir. I'm rather well off from my own accomplishments and work, so I can easily afford such generous gifts if I feel like sharing."

Once Arbok hears about this fortunate fancy, he's all to eager to devour it all in one great big *Gulp!*, plastic and all! Fortunately his caustic and Poisonous digestive juices can easily break down such material, so no worries! A dreamy look quickly materializes on the great big snake's face as they let out a *Ssssigh* of pure delight and pleasure at eating such a SCRUMPTIOUS DELICACY! , feeling more peppy and lucky than in a LONG time. This meal MORE than makes up for being treated like a aggravating foot rest by He-Tsareena, that's for sure! All beneftis of the Lucky Lion Loin conferred to Arbok!

Again, Fluidity looks a bit startled as you reminded them the whole point of their battle with them (as they got distracted by the other business before hand!), but they quickly go "Ah yes, my Offer!" They then reach into their bag, and pull out what appeared to be a.....well, it looked like a crome toy ray gun, at first glance. However, judging by all the tech and how gingerly/reverentially they were treating the device, you knew its was more than its appearance implied to be. They place it on the table in front of them, and gestured to it as they explained:

I've been looking for a Strong, Intelligent, and Interesting male human to finish testing my latest invention, and after our THRILLING battle, you are more than qualified! As for what will be test on, why it's this little invention of mine that I call The Gender Fluidizer *Waves their hands around excitedly* ! No doubt you can already guess what it can do and might have immediate reservations, but I can assure you that the process is FULLY reversible , and that its already been tested it on consenting and fully knowing human female and various Pokémon volunteers - not mine, no those are natural anomalies of their species! - to make sure that it works, with absolutely no problems! That's not all my little invention can do, though! Let me explain...."

The ability to change Mono Male Species and Genderless Pokémon into Females alone would have Breeders all of the world salivating at the chance to get one, but its also useful for species where gender distribution of individuals are more skewed towards male or female, and as a learning tool it has its niche applications. The Odd researcher is sitting on a potential gold mine right here, now that you think about it!

Effect: Change the Gender of a Pokemon/Humans into its opposite instantaneously, changing their appearance in the process if there is significant variance in appearance between the Genders of a Pokemon/Human. Changes can be reversed after two Encounters (One Encounter for the first time the device is used) after the device has recharged. This includes Mono-Gender Only Species and Gender Exclusive Evolutions/Variants, and in the former instance a Gender will be assigned at the discersion of the user. 


Pokemon with Gender Exclusive Evos gain access to the Learnpool and Typing of the Gender/Varient Evo they change into, but keep the Moves Learned, TM/HM List, Ability, and the capacity to Mega Evolve they have in their ‘Default’ gender evo (Mostly applies to Frosslass in case of Mega Evo). (The Face Camo will deactivate DURING the 'Form Change' , leaving Reiner undisguised afterwards. However, since going through a COMPLETE GENDER CHANGE radically alters the appearance anyway , that is less of a problem than you think! That, and...)

Fluidity *Claps!* their hands together and gives you an almost too radiant smile, before they extended a hand and started to enthusiastically pump your own!

"Oh thank you very much, good sir! Now, since I know full well how....radical the Gender Transformation brought upon by my Gender Fluidizer can be and know you are nervous about this, I'll step outside of the room and let you conduct The Change by yourself. When you are finished and feel like you have a handle on yourself, you can knock on the door to Alert me that I can come back in. Okay?"

They then lay a hand on your shoulder, and offered their most comforting smile they had, which sorta works as they intended (its kinda ruined by the excitement in their eyes).

"Remember, this is completely reversible and risk free, and if SOMEHOW anything happens, I will do everything within my power to correct the problem. I promise."

A moment later, you were completely alone in the room (I presume you recalled Arbok to enjoy his meal in the peace of his Pokeball).
