At first, Shiva does only give a confused look to Patch: 'Upgrade'?? Into a Ninetales... OH! He means evolved it, haha!' But after having gotten it, she rather carefully smiles. "W-will do, thank you! I...don't known when, but rest assured that I'll keep it in mind!" Off she is after having waved him goodbye for now. The junkyard's certainly an interesting place now, one where she met another rememberable person on her journey through the region.


Adverstisements on the web only cause her to run faster, reach the Center sooner, catch a glimpse on that battle earlier in order to not miss anything - rarely is it that she's SO excited for a broadcast of a match, but just as rarely is it that she's interested in the challenger.

Shiva doesn't seem to really care for Bo, the ominous Champion himself - no, her personal goal wasn't the chance to face him in a battle. If she'd reach that far, great; but if she wouldn't mind too much either. Doesn't mean that she cannot TRY, though, she has the feeling that if she only believes in her Pokemon - what she already does - and in herself - working on it - she may reach farther than she, just the daughter of a Professional Pokemon Breeder with her Umbreon and her liking for Grass and Fairy Type, has ever dreamt of.

Jo herself - well, to a particular degree she reminded Shiva of herself. She wasn't sure what it was, it's hard to determine safely over the screen. Best guess of her was that gleam, that fire, that WILL in her eyes. The displayed eggmoves cause a knowing and appreciating smile onto her features as well. Guess she found...another person to look up to, another person she wishes only the best.

Silent curses escape her as the broadcast cuts off to commercials, arghhh! Shiva also finds herself feeling for Jo, praising her performance in quietness. Well done, that's what she wished she could tell her from face to face. With a pleasant feeling Shiva will head up to her dorm after the broadcast ends, as tiredness befell her after this eventful day - cuddled up to Cottonee on Ven's side of the bed, a Vaporeon curled around an Egg and a dear Togekiss sleeping on the windowsill, Shiva soon found her way into sleep.

Seeing those Zigzagoon through his room's window reminds Nathan of something: he still has to return the Relic Stone Shard to Tanuki.

He also wamts to battle her today.

But first, Nathan has something he needs to do...

He fetches Orthros from the PC and has a quick chat with him, Rhea, and Gallade in the privacy of his room.

It's time to teach them all the Rock Smash HM.

To Orthros, he simply explains it's a very powerful move.  He has complete faith in that his doggy will use it responsibly.

To Rhea, he talks about how they got the HM, and about Captain Bridge.  He thinks Rhea will have an extra appreciation for the HM because of how and where it was found.

And Gallade...well, no explanations are needed.  Just assurances that everything will be fine.  Besides, today's the day he learns his first Fighting move!  Ooh, how exciting!

Assuming nothing needs his attention before he gets there, Nathan's first stop for the day is definitely Tanuki's gym to see if she's hanging around there this morning.

She's outside, nailing new shingles onto the roof of her Gym. A Zigzagoon is holding nails in its mouth for her. 

"Hello, Nathan! Be right with you...you can wait inside if you want. Fifteen minutes while I get to a good stopping place."

She comes in and meets you with another greeting. "So, how was your trip into Mt. Sentry?"

Shiva found herself awaking earlier than she usually does. She wasn't too sure why, maybe it was her and her subconscious mind having to deal with Ven's absence by her side during the nights and morning - or it could be Vaporeon's restless sleep, as at some point the waterly Eeveelution has stretched herself out over half the bed while her long mermaid-like fail was protectively curled around the Egg of hers.

Melancholy befell the fae enthusiast, and she remained cuddled up in the pillows and blankets for a little longer while softly stroking her Cottonee's white fluff. This eventually woke the fluffball herself, she greeted Master with a melodic chirp and a mouthless smile which Shiva ended up returning to her most dear Pokemon (aside from Spectral), before she DID get up and took the usual look out of the window. Weather's mild... And the Zigzagoon running around in business gave her a feeling like her own spirit being rekindled and shook awake. After all - she had what could be called an appointment this morning: That battle to get to know one another that Terra requested. Sliding the curtain of the window back into place and scratching Raphael's head feathers, she found herself highly wondering what sort of Pokemon Battle a big and chiseled man like him would provide, and whether she'd be able to...well, stand a chance.

It was yet early (8am or so) and Shiva's hair was still relatively messy when she made her careful way down the stairs to the Lobby of the Center, rubbing remains of sleep from her eyes and a chipper Vaporeon acompanying her while Cottonee and Raphael lightly floated by her side. Dizzy - remains up in the dorm, Shiva has told him "that she'll be out this morning and probably also for a part of the rest of day, but the door is left open for him again." She's fully trusting him "that he knows what he does and is capable to keep himself safe, in case of emergency he can always come to her as she won't be far away today." *light ruffling of his white fur on head if he allows* A plate with Dry Food and sliced Berries from yesterday alongside a bowl of fresh water is also left for him.

With a freshly filled cup of hot coffee Shiva takes her place in the Lobby, she's mostly waiting for Terra to appear so that they can discuss their condictions for the battle, she can arrange her team at Bill's PC, and then to head out to the outskirts of town for their battle, at best near a road/Route or in Celebi Park. The waiting time is passed with playing with Vaporeon and Raphael using a bright red feather of a Delibird. (I have no idea if Terra knows the species of Vaporeon or would recognize Raphael)

Mechanics:
Whenever you're ready to initiate the Introductory Battle, Windos. Yes, this battle will take a while to be rolled out and such (probably a few days), but I'm actually highly curious what direction it'll go. Let us try to make it an enjoyable and fruitful battle with interactions/sharing things or stories between the Rounds for both our charas, shall we?~

EDIT: I've carried the conditions we discussed together into a small list.

Before I forget, I also need to mention which 6 pokemon Nathan has when he visits the gym.  They are: Gallade (obviously), Charmeleon, Grid, Rhea, Forthright, and Orthros. (the doc has been updated with this team)

Nathan tosses Tanuki the Relic Stone Shard.  "Mission accomplished.  Had to go a lot deeper than expected to do it, though.  A lot deeper.  The Relic Stone doesn't ever stay in the same place for very long, so it definitely wasn't anywhere near where you first found that piece of it.  Scimitars followed us the whole way down, but we kept them from reaching Atheneum."

Nathan looks at his best friend to emphasize the next point.

"...a lot changed over the last week or so, if you hadn't figured that out already.  Made some new friends, strengthened bonds with old ones, learned new things about both new and old topics, saw things we never, ever expected to see...it was a good trip for the most part....though it's not one we'd want to repeat without good reason, if I'm being totally honest..."  Gallade gives Tanuki a courteous bow to close out the quick summary.

Dizzy trots out the door ahead of Shiva and vanishes into the city's dawn.

Tanuki courtseys back to Gallade, though she's not wearing a skirt.

"I'm glad you were successful. Dagny said it was a very important mission. And it's really...um...important? for a trainer to have chances to grow. Mt. Sentry is our traditional grounds when we want to challenge ourselves, as you probably already know. Did you meet many rare or strong Pokemon?"

"Yup, definitely met some rare and strong pokemon.  Also met a few Legends if you can believe that.  Though one of them..."

Gallade frowns.

"...let's just say that we wouldn't recommend sticking around for very long if you see a lot of bug pokemon in the same area deep underground.  Quite frankly, we're really lucky that nobody...uh...became bug food, to be blunt."
