[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

At the very least, he's more or less taken care of at this point....assuming the dice don't suddenly start plotting your doom and destruction, Dragonstrike. The dice are rather....bipolar, when it comes to you, after all....

Odds are good, but yeah, Lady Luck is a fickle mistress.  The good news is that unless Rampardos somehow has Rock Slide or another spread/AOE move, it can't KO two pokemon simultaneously, so that's some decent insurance by itself.

That Rampardos has +7 HP (overgrown) and +1 Vitality Surprises and has maximum Strength, Dex, and Vit (for a wild Rampardos, that is. 8 Strength, 4 Dex/Vit if you were wondering. 2 Insight is the minimum for wild Rampardos).  That thing would be a beast if someone managed to tame it.

I think I became better after such time of training and battles. I was worry when I see Anderind, but I have already imagine Zamboni would have a way to counter weakness. But I surprise that battle work very well without any fainting.

Also @Iron, don't forget Gustav hold the Amulet Coin so the reward is doubled. In this case it is 800 Pokedollars.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

As they say, practice makes perfect.

Back when we first faced Zamboni, he used a Sealeo against Nathan and a Swinub against Ventus and Shiva.  Ice definitely has more than a few ways to deal with Rock, Fire, and Steel types (and a few for Fighting as well).  Nathan also faced that Blizzard using Rotom in his first gym battle, which was certainly an interesting experience.

It helps that Zamboni has 3 Str, Dex, and Vit, and revealed his switches before you did, letting you always have an advantage.  However, that was still a great job, even if it was a little easier than usual. (it also helped that Iron appeared to have forgotten to account for Hail's Defense buff for Anderind, but since you also forgot to apply Mega Launcher to Water Pulse, the correct damage was rolled out anyways)

That battle ZambonivsHeart looked as it was almost too easy o.o Of course, if you're mostly if not only concentrate on leveling Stats that are used in battle, such a result may be the reward - congrats for winning, Heart! See, you even made it without loaned Charcoal. ^^ (Hopefully I may still burrow the Silk Scarf for my upcoming battle against Tanuki for a favour, please?) I'll continue worrying myself through Chuckles then.

Speaking of that, when did you people (mostly Heart and Terra) wanted to approach her /Tanuki) for a Gym Battle actually? I very carefully planned mine as a second Encounter of the next Day, but it can be postponed if there are strong desires. I don't wish to travel on before haven gotten a fair chance to battle Tanuki in her Gym though, unless plot forces us - would Tanuki take two challenger's a day however? *looks over to GM*

Terra was planning to challenge Tanuki in the in game tomorrow morning, but he can hold off until EVERYONE ELSE has done their Gym Challenge, since I don't like the idea/though of multiple Gym Battles happening on the same day and competing for attention from both us players and Iron. Even if this means waiting two in game days for Heart and Shiva to do their on separate days, while Terra faffs about Cress City looking for something to do/train, so be it!
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

Oh, I'm actually fine if you'd go and battle her tomorrow morning in-game, as I'm still having stuff to do that I can do in the meantime. Mostly going after one particular Pokemon, bringing Bergmite to the Shelter due to Disobediance and trying out Flower Gift Ability in a Trainer Battle - I can do all of that during the next Day without much flavour things that'd outstretch the Day, but then I would like to call dibs on battling her on the Day after tomorrow as the very first Encounter. How does that sound?

Biiiiig discrepancy here, @Iron.  Originally, you said the Glass Badge increases Strength, and the Poikilite Badge increases Dex.

"Here - the Poikilite Badge! It improves the nimbleness of Pokemon (Dexterity) in a process similar to that of a Mega Stone, strengthened by your bond with your Pokemon." He hands you a glittering navy-colored badge, shaped like a sailor emblem and speckled with holographic mineral. Side by side, you notice the two badges are slightly different based on the location of the embedded minerals.

You each get $500 for winning, and the badge! +0.5 Dex.

That's what my notes say too. I was thinking about Shiva's battle when I said that, sorry!

So @Spiritmon Zamboni's badge actually increases Strength, not Dex.

She can take two challengers in a day, but no more.

Humm. I guess I would still like to battle her on the Day after tomorrow as the first Encounter (means on Friday 28th May (Day 68) in game and get the stuff I mentioned above done tomorrow, Heart and Tetta can face her tomorrow both on a different Encounter Slot. Does that sound fair and okay, @Lord Windos and @Spiritmon?
