I said SORTA screwed, not outright and completely. If you made a choice between Delphox and Raphael for the next Pokémon....well, I'm sorry to say this, but why? Delphox is a liability against Chuckles, and Raphael could be rendered deadweight or a millstone, so those Pokémon would have been better served kept in the PC, while other, more optimal Pokémon would have been chosen to fight the Ghosties. Chosing either the fox or archangel is liking giving yourself a handicap, which in non-critical battles or PVP is fine....but against a fairly no-nonsense opponent like Chuckles, its one step away from tactical suicide.
I'm sorry for being so critical of your choice in Pokémon, but I just don't want to see you potentially lose because of this, and its gotten me all huffy and worried....

Ghost is also SE against psychic, so Gengar could have just Shadow Balled Delphox. By contrast, though, Delphox could have Psyshocked Gengar, so there's a bit of a trade off there.
The trade off for Raphael is those Serene Grace boosted Flinch effects, not a type advantage, so I can see some merit in bringing him along solely for that in most any scenario (so long as Flinching is possible/not a hinderance, that is)

I don't want to loose either, not a tiny bit now that Dusknoir as my biggest fear is wonderfully defeated by Spinda while she herself has only suffered 1 point of damage and is outright immune to Gengar's most dangerous STAB moves, but yet I'm not feeling things are highly dire. *still hugs you in silent worry*
Pokemon being well suited to fight Ghosts are scarce on me aside from Spinda and Yena. Vaporeon was a top nominee for a battle against Chuckles, but if he'd send out a Jelliscent I'd be directly screwed. Vulpix was another valid choice because of Confuse-Ray-Hex-Combo, but I don't want to send her out unless Snow Warning triggers - my idea to cause hail inside the mansion wouldn't enable a hail indoors though, so she got scapped. Azumarill was also pondered - but she doesn't need any XP more actually. Furret as the bulky one would work, but apart from Me First he cannot properly attack Ghost Types even after a Foresight (I'm so sorry, cute Furret). Tropius would have a very hard time against a Chandelure or below due to their fire capable of roasting him quick, and sending out an obvious Psychic Type despite Blaze when you know there are Ghost and Dark Type moves just sounded too risky for me. So... Despite the worry, let us see how things go at first, alright? I hope you now understand the choice a little better.

Vulpix would still have been a good enough option to use over either Delphox or Raphael, as even if you couldn't get Hail to trigger (With all the cold moisture in the air due to the gym battle grounds being directly over cold, briny water, I would think using Hail would have been possible....), Confusion Hex Combo without having to worry about it being used against you Super Effectively would have been valuable indeed. Of course, aChandelure would have played merry hell with that plan, so that would have been bad for the fluffy white fox if they came out. Neither Azu or Tropius would have been good due to Gengar, imo.
Furret would actually have been the best choice even with minimum attack options, as Follow Me + Ghost Immunity and still being able to Strike at the Ghosts for chip damage is a potent combination, and would force Chuckles to have to play less offensively/prevent Spinda from being waylaid so quickly.
Of course, this is just my opinion, and its a little too late for it to matter much, so let's just see if Raphael can tough out Gengar's Poisonous Presence....

Spinda is awesome.
Dinnertime! I'll get to the Chuckles battle and Riolu before I go to bed. Other than those two things, I'm not rolling any more attacks today. Tomorrow will be a long day at work, as I have to drive 4 hours each way for a meeting at HQ.

Indeed, Spinda is!
Gotcha! Hope everything goes well at work, and that meeting isn't bad and/or too tedious, mate! That drive, though....oomph. I'm no stranger to long road trips, but an 8 Hour Round trip is more than a bit brutal. Safe driving!

See, you even made it without loaned Charcoal. ^^ (Hopefully I may still burrow the Silk Scarf for my upcoming battle against Tanuki for a favour, please?) I'll continue worrying myself through Chuckles then.
Speaking of that, when did you people (mostly Heart and Terra) wanted to approach her /Tanuki) for a Gym Battle actually? I very carefully planned mine as a second Encounter of the next Day, but it can be postponed if there are strong desires. I don't wish to travel on before haven gotten a fair chance to battle Tanuki in her Gym though, unless plot forces us - would Tanuki take two challenger's a day however? *looks over to GM*

Biiiiig discrepancy here, @Iron. Originally, you said the Glass Badge increases Strength, and the Poikilite Badge increases Dex.

"Here - the Poikilite Badge! It improves the nimbleness of Pokemon (Dexterity) in a process similar to that of a Mega Stone, strengthened by your bond with your Pokemon." He hands you a glittering navy-colored badge, shaped like a sailor emblem and speckled with holographic mineral. Side by side, you notice the two badges are slightly different based on the location of the embedded minerals.
You each get $500 for winning, and the badge! +0.5 Dex.
That's what my notes say too. I was thinking about Shiva's battle when I said that, sorry!
So @Spiritmon Zamboni's badge actually increases Strength, not Dex.

She can take two challengers in a day, but no more.
Humm. I guess I would still like to battle her on the Day after tomorrow as the first Encounter (means on Friday 28th May (Day 68) in game and get the stuff I mentioned above done tomorrow, Heart and Tetta can face her tomorrow both on a different Encounter Slot. Does that sound fair and okay, @Lord Windos and @Spiritmon?
In my part its okay. I will take some time to rest to recover my Will points. I remember the last time I face a Gym until my will points almost deplenty. I will rest and take my time.
In that case Iron my strengh would be around 3,5? Since my strengh is 3 +Badge (0,5) = 3,5.

Technically, yes, but your Strength is still effectively 3. The .5 isn't worth anything until you get the other Gym Badge that increases Strength. Same with Dagny's badge increasing Vitality by .5.
Once you get a pair of badges, then the attribute gets a boost, which is why Nathan has 6* Dexterity now instead of 5.

Huh... That actually sounds like a fine idea. But me feels that this could quickly backfire as Furret doesn't know any Channel Moves and Shiva is not trained in Brawl, and a Curse could efficiently render him near useless (I feel so sorry, cute Furret D: *hugs him*). Gengar placing a Curse on either Raphael or Spinda would be highly risky though as both my Pokemon are fresh/near fresh in Spinda's case.
I was also near-paranoid over the scenario of Chuckles sending out either something from the Swabone Line or a Trevenant/Ghourgeist, which Raphael could hit with SE-damage. Delphox could roast them with Mystical Fire or psyshock the pirate into oblivion, that's true, but a Brine would quickly knock him out.

Spinda is love, even if mine doesn't feature the legendary heartshaped spot on forehead:

Have a safe drive then and return well and in one piece! I'll head to bed earlier though I guess, so I might not see the results until either early in the morning or after work.
I don't have anything more planned for this Day apart from the Bonding Ritual with Gothy and - if there's time - visiting Sor's Nature Shop in Corsage Port. If I'd have to decide between these action though in order to return safely to Cress City the same Day, I'd choose the Ritual.

Welp, that's probably GG for Chuckles then. Spinda can't miss with a SE attack, Gengar is Flinched and can't do anything with its first action...looks like Shiva has this gym battle in the bag.
