I don't actually wish to FORCE a Trainer upon Bergmite though, regardless how much loot I'd get when trading him. It may sound dumb, but it's definietly what Shiva would do. Bergmite Encounter was fun, she liked it and I did too, but she began to feel sorry for having caught him out of his natural habitat down there deep within Mount Sentry when it became obvious that he doesn't like it. Huh, if I'd set him free at the base of Mount Sentry from Cress City's side, would he actually be able to find his way home, Iron...?

As for other Pokémon that exist on your PC, how about Litwick, among others? Whatcha going to do about them?

He's kept due to Flame Body Ability, being drawn to Shiva's life force and only needed +1 Loyalty in order to obey as a Chandelure due to being used to humans. He'll learn Flame Burst when having collected only few XP more as another useful move for Double Battles, maybe afterwards I'll try to evolve him into a Lampent. Small spectral candlestick is not forgotten!

Your right, it does sound dumb, at least to me. Especially since releasing them in a non-cold environment is likely a death sentence for an Ice type, even at the base of Mt. Sentry. It WAS pretty far in its depths we stumbled onto the Artic Biome, and the path towards it is most likely completely mixed up by now. If Bergy tried to find its way back home, its liable to get lost and eaten by a random Fighting or Rock type.

Giving them to Zamboni, even without asking for anything in return, is the best choice, as he's THE resident Ice Guy that will take care of them no problem AND most likely quickly become friends due to their talents/affinity with the type. Its also a nice, SAFE place for the living chuck of floatsum to grow too, so releasing them into the Care of the showboat Gym Leader is a wise idea on that grounds alone. At least that way its survival is assured and we know where to find it if we need to, rather than...not.

Sorry for being so....harsh, but I just believe straight up releasing Bergy is a bad idea, both mechanically and RPwise. Shiva's responsible for the well being of all her Pokémon, and that includes making sure they are safe and/or well cared for no matter what, even and especially if she going to relinquish her ownership of them in some way. From that perspective, her giving Bergy to someone that is gaurenteed to take good care of them, even if they (Bergy) don't like them at first, is the most moral and responsible thing for her to do, and falls in line with her good hearted nature more so than her desire to accommodate her Pokémon's quirks/Disobedience/bad moods.

I've just gotten good enough at thinking of all the implications of decisions I debate with others, and maybe I was channeling a bit of Ventus and his sociological/Pokémon Researching know how? In all honesty, I just found the decision to release Bergy to be a bad idea, and I thought my way through as to how to convince you to see it as such. Giving it to Zam Zam without anything material in return is a nice compromise for my desire to see you compensated for your efforts in catching it, as Shiva won't feel guilty about trading an grumpy Pokémon for want of profit and the showboat becomes a little grateful/indebted by the small gesture. Best of both worlds, me thinks!

I agree with Windos in case to give the smol bergy to Zamboni since he would be feel in home. Heart have some experience with dealing multiple pokemon since he swap from one to other to have more time with them (and because he is a Pokemon Rare Collector so he would not separated from them). Its the more wise and heart choice.

I appreciate it that you've done that, thank you. *cuddle intensifies* I like Zamboni, so I hope he'll accept and take Bergmite in the first place at all... (Please tell me he does, Iron) I won't ask for anything in return, but if Delibird wants to give a gift to the person who gifts a Pokemon to its Master I wouldn't say no.

Oh, and it'll be fine opportunity for young Delibird of mine to meet one of its kind, aww!~

Vaporeon is OVERJOYED to be outside in the rain, finally! She indeed jumps from puddle to puddle, stretching out to soak up the rain and chasing her own tail; and there was a picture of a Vaporeon doing exactly that in the manga that I've been sure I had on my main tumblr-blog but I can't find it now to show. :C

So, you both haven't replied yet to that message containing the request for a quick-meeting Shiva has sent you both, @Spiritmon and @Dragonstrike. If you're just busy, nevermind; if you've forgotten, that's a kind and small reminder to let me know whether you'll attend. If needed, meeting can be postponed to the evening of the current Day (instead of afternoon), but I've been actually hoping to hold it today in-game to enable us departing into the agreed direction on the next Day. (Assuming there's no urgent business from any of us that'd reason waiting a little longer.)
