[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Heart when see Terra reaction he stare to each other for a few seconds...until Heart sight and understand Terra actions. "Guess you already up in your decision. In that case, I will at least give something to help in your personal journey." Heart then search his bag. He throw something to Terra: A Revive and a Oran Berry. "That may help you in your journey my friend. That crystal can revive a fainted pokemon with half of his HP. Pretty useful in case one pokemon of yours get fainted in your journey with half of his health. But I supose you already know. And that Oran Berry can restore the energy of a pokemon (10 HP if I not mistake). These items may help in your journey. Even if you dont want me to go with you, at least keep those items with you."

(1hp is restored by an Oran Berry, 10 would be pretty cool but overpowered, lolz.)

The simple monk snatched the Items out of the air and stared at them for a moment....before letting out a small *sigh* and nodded his head, and stowing them away.

"....Very well. Don't think I will need Revive or Oran, or want to take supplies from you. ....But I shall accept them, if it give you.....calmness of mind. Will return them if I don't use either, though. Promise."

"...Do not worry, Heart. I am tough too. Traveled all across home region with only my partners for a decade. Exploring dangerous place.....should not be too bad for me."

'....Hopefully,' he thought to himself, as he turned towards his Duskull (who has no doubt be listening in) and gave them a nod with arms crossed.

"We shall go on a dangerous adventure, Duskull. Don't know where, or when, but we shall. I will prove myself. Make you my friend, and become you friend."

Duskull has his arms crossed behind his back and he's glaring at you balefully. With Melly and Gallade, he scarcely dares to move. But Heart knows he'll believe it when he sees it!

Is it about your former comment of me having beaten Tanuki" *her Zigzagoon growls a little at hearing this name and lets out some more electric sparks out of joy, which Shiva answers with stroking her* "as the second strongest person known to the League? Please tell real quick so that we can head downstairs for one more continue tutoring Porygon-Z Electroweb before I'll catch some sleep."

"...well, my specific wording was the second strongest League trainer that's around our age..."

He sighs.

"...well, everyone's been wondering about this, so I suppose this is as good a time as any to talk about the League a little.  And I did promise Heart I'd talk about this when everyone was together..."

He takes a few breathes, then starts talking when he has everyone's attention.  "Did everyone catch the Champion Challenge that aired recently?  This region's Champion is Bo.  He's been Champion for...over 20 years now, I think?  Nobody has come close to giving him a proper challenge in that time, though you probably wouldn't guess it given he's a rather easygoing farmer kinda guy.  Even in the rare instance that somebody can beat his first pokemon, it's a miracle if they can get past Bo's second.  Frankly, it's become tradition to lose to the Champion, so Hall of Fame honors started going to anyone who could defeat the Elite 4.  Beating the Champion isn't a requirement to be registered in the HoF, unlike in your regions."

"As for the Elite 4...those battles are purposely shrouded in secrecy, so I have no idea what those are like, unlike the televized Champion Challenges that always end in Bo curbstomping his opponent.  I do know who the various members are, though.  They're all public figures to some degree...though some of them are more well known than others."

"Every region has at least one dragon specialist, and Creshire is no exception.  Merle is the resident user of draconic pokemon.  He doesn't get out much to my knowledge, but he's infamous for ending many, many League challenges.  He's been in the Elite 4 for awhile."

"There's also Red.  No, not that Red.  That one's in Alola last I heard.  I currently don't know much about Elite 4 Red besides he's from Cress City, though."

"Then there's Gin.  She's one of the newer additions to the League's ranks.  Being an 18 year old scene girl means she's really popular with guys around my age.  She always seems to be dealing with swarms of fans and papparazzi."

"And finally...there's Hayes, otherwise known as The Mistlord.  He and Latias, yes; Latias, have been in the ranks of the Elite 4 for awhile as well, and he's the most vocal member of the four, often acting as their representative in general.  He was also the one who ended my dad's League challenge...Latias was just a bit too much for Luxray to handle..."

If anyone has further questions, feel free to ask!

-----------

As for the whole business with Terra and Duskull...Nathan has two comments for the wanderer: "Well, stick around long enough, and maybe adventure will find you instead of the other way around like it has been for us recently...ha ha...heh...heh...just...be careful if you go seeking it on your own...I know you're tough, but..."

"Nathan is right in this subject. Also Terra..." Heart glare to Duskull. "Be watchful around that Duskull. He is looking in a balefully way in your direction. Be careful to not regret."

He returns their glare unflitchingly, before nodding his head, his gut telling him everything he needed to know from this exchange.

"Very well. Now, its time for you to return to your Pokeball. Good night, Duskull."

Immediately thereafter saying that, the spooky specter is recalled, and his ball placed back on their trainer's belt. They may not believe he's capable now, but someday he'll prove himself to them. Count on it!

*Scene Transition: Nathan's League Info Reveal!*

Terra is probably the only one out of the group that shakes his head, as he was busy with other things/sleeping at the time it was on. In fact, this is pretty much the first and only time he's heard about Bo and Cheshire's Elite 4, so he's listening to Nathan with as much rapt attention and insatiable curiosity a stoic man such as himself possessed. By the end, the rugged wander is left both deeply impressed and thrilled to his very core, with an uncharacteristically wide smile on his face and the flames of passion in his eyes. Impressed that Cheshire was home to such powerful and prestigious Trainers, and thrilled at the very thought of one day fighting them all! Even against the undefeatable titan Bo, as a losing battle with them sounded like a blood pumping, heart pounding, peerlessly challenging experience like no other, which is EXACTLY the type of fights he was look for. After all, the only way to grow stronger was either rigorous training, facing adversity and trails of all kinds, or, ideally, both!

He didn't have that many question for the scholarly trainer, as what they already described alone was sufficient to sate him, but....

"Can you tell more about Hayes? Why does he have the title 'The Mistlord?' Your.....father challenged him? Did he say....what their fight with him was like? And.....is he really a partner to.....Latias?"

...one member of the Elite had caught his interest, and it was the very first one he heard about. He's rather curious about them.....and mystified too at the mention they work with a Latias, so he had to know more about them.

*Now back to Duskull!*

To Nathan statements, both voiced and not, he only gave them a solemn nod of his head. He'll be careful as earthly possible on his dangerous adventure, as if he dies on it, he can't very well do his duty of safeguarding the group if he's located in the hereafter!

(You've exaggerated a little when you promised that Shiva's mind would be blown. :C But thank you for not spoiling just now what Type the specialize in, if at all, I appreciate that. When it becomes important Shiva might ask if she hasn't found out about it by then.)

Shiva listens with mild interest what Nathan has to share about the League, that's partly because she has no idea yet whether she'll make it to get that far to be allowed to a battle against someone from the League, nor whether she even WANTS to do that. Being a Trainer and everything was alright and fine for her by now, but growing very strong in the field of Pokemon Battling and attempt to become 'the best' were still not her real cup of tea and not her priority. It's nice to reach far and be decent in that field - but she's feeling that she's missing the right 'spirit' to be a fighter. Like, she's not even directly training her Pokemon to be good in battle!

She let him finish his speech and doesn't speak up right away when he has done so, for the most part she continues stroking through Cottonee's fluff and Raphael's featherly coat. She can very much and very real feel that excitement and eager from the current mountain of a man and wandering monk, and she finds herself sighing impercibly as a response. That's the mentioned spirit of a fighter, that's someone who matches the expected describtion of a League-Challenger - but not her!

In the end though, all while listening further to answered questions, she decided to just continue giving what she can and try to do good in Battling, attempting grow alongside her Pokemon by challenging as many varying foes as possible and facing more exciting Gym Battles. He far she'll become - the stars and maybe Lilith already know thanks to them, but definitely not Shiva herself. Time and more traveling will tell. If she'll make it far and high, of course she'll rejoice and be proud of it - but it's simply not her real desire and goal, which she feels distinguishes her from the avreage Trainer Person.

That dragontamer by the name of Merle caught her attention though and she couldn't help but to chuckle a little over that particular revelation. Sae with Latias - it's a legend, but the legend's still a dragon. Facing such a decent foe with her own fairies would be something she's personally enjoy, for the fight's and experience's sake. "Now that matches, more dragons....", she softly tells her fluffball and archangel, "how does the thought of some REAL dragonslaying sound to you two?" Azumarill isn't wish Shiva at the moment, but she feels the fae mouse, having overcome her massive sadness under her care, would enjoy such kind of challenge after Druddigon. (Your input, Iron.)

How one can be 18 years young and already be that strong to be a member of the Elite 4 quite catches and impresses Shiva, but she does a fine job to tone down a little how much of it shows on the outside. "If Gin's THAT good, what Pokemon does she usually use, is there a specific way she trains them or how can she be that decent in battling already?"

Because I'm tired and will leave it for today then, I'll flash forward a little and give the mechanics for the third Encounter to not stall things. Once that is rolled out and wraped up, Shiva will go straight to bed to catch some worthy sleep, means the new Day can dawn from my side.

But before she can enter the realm of dreams and run through the imaginary meadows of her subconscious mind, she'll finish something that has been started yesterday: Movetutoring to Nathan's Porygon-Z! Grid is asked to join in that per usual, Shiva#s having a good feeling that they'll break though today and have the digital duck understood how to cast some electrically charged webs at foes. It'll need some attempts and practical experience for it to fully master the move though, but the basics should be aware of it by tonight.

"Alright, Porygon-Z.... Let us go through the move one more time, shall we? You already did well the last time, let us practice this a bit before we take the next step and have you put enough electricity charged up into the summoned spiderweb."

Tutoring Roll: 6*Insight + 3 Knowledge + yet 3 Move Tutoring = 12d6 + 1 autosuccess thanks to Grid helping, Porygon-z has accumulated 7/12 successes the last tutoring.

Raphael isn't sure he's ready yet - he is a wiser, fully-evolved Pokemon who is aware of his limits.

But Cottonee, you can feel, thinks as soon as she evolves she'll instantly be ready to crush any Dragon, even in the E4!
