That's partially why Terra is headed to Ancestor Cave.  I have Swiftfire already, so I don't particularly need a Meowth for the purpose of Pay Day.  I'm headed there for the fossil quest for the most part, but invited everyone along because there's some interesting pokemon there.  Kill two birds with one stone and all that, ya know?

Besides, @Lord Windos, do you already know whether and when you'll go berry-foraging on the next Day? Just for coordinating Encounters a bit, as I asked to please join with Tanuki and you/Terra agreed. Maybe there/then we can also bring tutoring which moves to which of his Pokemon from outta-chara to in-chara to have that done or otherwise spend some qualitiy time (with Genie?) if it fits.

Can't say yet, since Ancestor Cave may be a all day long event, but if there's still time left after completing the task/everyone, he'll directly tell her about his plans. Getting a start on tutoring Shiranui BP would be EXCELLENT too, and in exchange Terra could give any Berries he and Tanuki finds to Shiva, or simply train her Pokémon later on. What do you think?


And yes, Shiva will be getting to see Genie at some point, dearest. Maybe during the Berry Hunt, or maybe while she's tutoring them or Shiranui. Patience, honey, you'll get you moment with the mischievous dragoness, sooner or later....

I'd honestly prefer to do Ancestor Cave first thing because it could theoretically turn into an all-day trip.

That's me preference too, as if we can get that done quickly, we can do other things with our days! Concerning the Amulet Coin, I was wondering if that could be brought up to Terra at some point, so he could ask to borrow it for big/small Trainer battles (Unless it only works for one character). I don't want to be forever strapt for cash if I can help it, and I do have purchases that need be obtained, so being able to use the AC would be a great boon towards those ends!

True story, if you're tired or drained, go and get some rest instead of forcing yourself to type up posts, @Dragonstrike. I'm doing that myself the whole time and will continue doing that simply because I cannot stay up the whole night playing unless I'm on vacation, and that's fine and reasonable. I already friendlily adviced you to take a look at any links or spoilertag-content I'm giving before hitting the 'Post Reply'-Button to avoid ruffling each other's feathers, I guess that was when I introduced the intended nickname to Gothy. :C

Besides, you haven't came back whether or not we delay trip to that Ancestor Cave because Heart wanted to face Tanuki as the first Encounter of the Day but we wanted to go that cave at the same time of the Day. I'm very fine with waiting/delaying if Heart wants to join, or going there while he battles in the Gym if it's not super-important for him.

I also meant to ask one thing for a while now, @Iron: Tying the Greenleaf Knot from the bought cord does take an Encounter Slot as you said, but what's about crafting Balls from the collected Apricorns? Can I build two Balls in one Encounter Slot, or is it just an activity that takes hours but is not tirering like crafting plushies from Cottonee's fluff? I think I've decided which two of my Pokemon will be transfered to a Friendship Ball made from the Green Apricorns, will make a small scene out of that at an appropriate time.

Could Shiva also theoretically return to the Ancestor Cave at some point in the future on her own at a night of full moon to see all the Umbreon there? Sounds like something worthy to watch, especially for her.

Aaaand one more question: Am I right in the assumption that my Comite would benefit from being exposed to that strong psychic energy within the cave, would this help or even trigger his evolution?

You can carve one ball in an Encounter slot. It's a delicate procedure.

Ancestor Cave isn't really all that far away from Cress, so it'd be entirely possible. You don't think it would be possible to Teleport to it, though - Cress City is the closest destination.

The Almanac says Comite's first evolution is just a matter of size. It does mention that they like to communicate with others of their kind.
The second evolution involves trading in Tandor, but no one has yet managed to evolve one in Creshire!

Oh, that'll work as well depending which Berries or what kind of bonus you'll find thanks to 5 Survival, but let us keep this open yet and decide on Berries or Training when actually being on it, alright? ^^

From an earlier describtion ('It having a strong urge to return to space'), I feel that Astronite sports max. Disobediance(!), so I'm actually fine with keeping a Cometeor if my astral rock ever evolves. Humm... If it's a matter of size in contrary to getting some skill on using psychic energy like I believed, bringing Comite to the trip to the Cave feels a bt pointless, will find someone else to take along.

Huh, if crafting Balls from Apricorns takes a Slot I'll determine carefully when to do that, thanks for the info. Crafting plushies from Cottonee's fluff has never taken Encounters though, Cottonee will grant me a third wad of fluff on the next Day even.

Well, 3/4 of the group agree to let Tanuki learn the HM, so I guess Nathan can go ahead with that on his own time! Unless we need a unanimous vote on this, in which case we have to wait on Spiritmon to return.

You know, two members of the League totally legitimately owning a Legendary Pokemon makes me wonder whether we all will have the chance to befriend a legend as well... Like, it'd likely be Mesprit in Nathan's case and Shaymin in my case if we put a little effort in it, I'm curious to see how things develop in that matter.

Personally, I don't have high hopes of Legends being a part of the group line up, at least not until post game or after we reach a BIG climax point in the plotline. They are so strong and awe inspiring/attention attracting that any of us getting one would probably either break the current game wide open, and/or completely change the way it plays, so no one's getting one anytime soon.

Terra in particular isn't likely to get ANY Legends EVER, due to arriving so late in the plot and having no personal connection to any in particular. Nathan has Mespirt, Shiva has Shaymin (Maybe), Heart has....well, probably a good chance with at least one mythic, given how they are considered the ultimate collecter's dream to have one, but Terra.....nada. Thems the breaks, I guess.

Humm, I'm not counting on it either, but I likely wouldn't be totally suprised if they - 'they' means in this particular case Mesprit and Shaymin, as these are the only ones that get keep getting mentioned and Ventus who found a Book of Reshiram here isn't present directly anymore to follow that line (or does he as part of his research?) - show themselves and join us in some way or we're getting the chance to directly interact with them in a meaningful matter. Being able to use any legend in battle though feels like a totally different and overpowered thing indeed, dear - maybe it'd be more like befriending them without them allowing to catch them, means 'Yes we're friends, but I won't battle for you'?

So.....what else is there to do this in game day? I know Terra needs to do some Berry Hunting, and Nathan/Shiva have done their mutually benefical learning session, but else needs to be done, before we can begin the new day?
