Concerning Nathan's further elaboration on the Elite 4 and Raphael's+Cottonee's reaction:


Shiva sighs impercibly once more upon hearing that there isn't much more to get to know about them at the moment, that one is not allowed at all to share anything about the battle against them to outsiders, then shrugs and accepts this as another curiosity in Chreshire. Like, at home in Unova it's not required to swear for secrecy but 'only' asked to not share it in public for the sake of fairness, Shauntal's books are even available at every bigger bookstore and are the reason for her specialization in Ghost Types to be an open secret. Shiva owns a copy of everything she spectral woman has published.

She chuckles a bit to herself over Terra's eager and wording of 'it won't be easy fighting them', being amused positively by his strong will and anticipitation of this challenge, same with Heart's interest in facing Hayes and his Latias. That's the spirit she would expect from both, indeed, and to be very honest.... She wishes she could take in such an confident manner as well instead of finding herself wondering how far she'll get and whether she'll be allowed to face the Elite 4 as well at some precious time. Taking on the equivalent of the Victory Road here already is giving her a few shivers!

Cottonee's massive confidence and will to face these draconic Pokemon in contrary to Raphael's more careful reaction quickly distracts her from these worries though as she brings the fluffball a little closer to her in a warm hug, telling her that "Nah, you're that eager to evolve? You'll get your chance to do so, I'll personally make sure that you'll have! Let us.... continue giving our best and grow and become stronger as best as we can, and work towards you being able to slay these dragons, shall we?"

Guess 'Becoming good enough to be allowed to face Merle and Gin' can now be added to Shiva's list of things she wants to do/work on during the journey through Chreshire. Hooray for triggered chara-development, maybe now she'll try training her Pokemon especially to do well in fights from time to time?

She's giving a hand gesture of 'It's fine' and 'It's no big deal' to Nathan being embarrased over not being able to tell them more about what Pokemon the Elite 4 uses. "Well, if it's not allowed to speak about it after having battled them, that's totally alright, please don't feel bad for not knowing more! You already know more than we did about them before you told us. So, thank you for the info....!" Terra has a chance to quick-leave the room before Shiva continues: "I, ehm, saw sparks of electricity from Bo's side of the field on the broadcast - Jo didn't manage to leave a lasting impact on this Pokemon. Out of curiosity, what is this Pokemon if you said you know?"

Once everything has been answered and shared plus Terra has returned, Shiva carefull raises her voice once more:


"*cough* So, ehm... I'd guess that'll be all, thank you again for agreeing to head in direction Elanor next. Is there anything more that feels important to be shared and discussed at the moment, or can we call it a day for now?"

She's asking that in a friendly and encouraging manner with a soft voice, but it's also visible for an attentive eye that she's emphasizing 'important to be shared' a little as she's beginning to feel exhausted from the meeting and would like to get enough and restful sleep before heading to Ancestor Cave tomorrow.

Nathan shrugs at first.  "Not entirely sure what the first pokemon Jo faced was.  Could be what I'm thinking of, but my first guess is that it wasn't since the species isn't commonly known to use electricity."

"The pokemon I do know about is...his Rapidash.  And not just because I'm familiar enough with the species to know when he's using it.  He actually got his fire horse from my mom when he first started his own journey across the region.  Was apparently for something really important.  And super secret.  So...yeah."

A pause.

"...and I guess for completeness's sake...I should also mention that Bo is also publicly known to have befriended a Legendary.  Except...he never, ever asks them to battle on his behalf, so nobody knows which Legendary it is."  *shrugs*

"...uh, yeah...one more thing...uh...Tanuki wants to know if I can teach one or two of her pokemon Rock Smash...for like, helping with her explorations of Mt. Sentry and stuff...and, uh...given how dangerous the caves and the stuff that lives in them are, that doesn't sound like a bad idea to me, to be honest....particularly if she were to ever run into..."

Now THAT got Terra to look both thoughtful AND concerned, as frowning to himself and the boy.

"....Don't know. Ven told me that HMs are *Face scrunches up* 'to be kept in utmost secrecy, and under NO circumstances should the League, Scimitars, or any large organization be made aware of the fact we have one in our possession, least they try to cease it from us and start more closely monitoring our activity.' Tanuki sounds like good person....but she is a Gym Leader. Part of the League. Could try taking away HM from us. Or tell her bosses about. …..Is she.....trustworthy?"

Presumably Nathan says she is in some capacity, to which he respond by saying:

"Hm.....*Nods* okay. Tanuki's Pokémon can learn ROCK SMASH. If say she is.....trustworthy, then she is. *Pauses for thought* …Would be good idea to do that secretly, though. Teaching one of her Pokémon the HM. *Shakes his head* Just in case. Ven said you can never be too....cautious with people from League. Or.....'officers of the law.' "

"A Rapidash, huh....." That and the dreadening thought of Bo ALSO having a legend causes Shiva to make a face as if she had to bite in a raw Energy Root, mostly because she is aware that these firerly horses are very likely to know Poison Jab to kill her fairies and grassy companions, Mega Horn to pester her psychics and Flame Charge to become even speedier.

"Sounds...reasonable that none has ever made it to defeat him then. Thank you for the info, once more."

At the mentioning of her namesake human, the furry version of Tanuki growls once more and ruffles her fur in order to cast a few sparks of electricity. Guess she likes using that move, Shiva responds to this by giving her a few strokes over the back; not minding how it's giving her a tingling sensation.

"Humm... Well, if Tanuki will only use that move outside of battle and when exploring and training within Mount Sentry, I see no reason why she should not have one or two Pokemon learn the move thanks to us. Feels like a fine repaying of her help with that shard of a Relic Stone!~ I feel she can be trusted in the manners of not going to shout from the rooftop having some companions capable to rocksmashing things or run to the League to report us."

Upon that hint to queeny and mighty Seika, Shiva shivers impercibly and brings Raphael a little closer to herself, which he returns with a calming coo to her.

There is one more small thing that I wanted to do before the new Day can start, I'll flashforward to it now to have it done if that's fine.


It's mostly having to do with Dizzy, the precious and secretive Infiltrator-Absol.

At some point before turning in for the night, either to offer him a portion of the left-over food Heart has given her or to groom his fine white fur a little, Shiva softly raises her voice towards him, a serious tone audible among the softness. "So... I wanted to let you know of something, Dizzy. Maybe you've heard it yourself if you paid attention during the meeting, but me and the others will go to explore an ancient cave tomorrow; I don't know when we will be back. What's with you? I assume you'd rather stay here and wait for news concerning your mission, I'll leave the door open for you again when leaving in the morning. Or do you prefer to tag along? The choice is complete yours." She gazes in the Absol's telling eyes as she's waiting for his response on this.

Plus, she also carefully checks on the Eevee Egg with her Almanac, Vaporeon is curiously watching.

Absol noses the door. Looks like that plan will be fine with him. You don't think he'll come along to the cave.

The Eevee egg looks like it's progressing a little faster than is normal for an Eevee Egg, which is nice!

How the young Eevee within the Egg is doing well and grows a bit faster than usual for an Egg that needs more time until hatching than the average Pokemon (which she believes comes from the unique gene pool of the Evolution Pokemon) brought a dear smile to the fae enthusiast; she finds herself wondering whether this indeed has to do with Vaporeon as the mother being around it.

"Well guys. I would like to join with you in that Cave adventure. Gonna challenge after that. Cant say no with the chance in find a Meowth in that cave. And Meowth know Payday, and with my Amulet Coin, its gonna be even better to get more money to buy everything we will need to our adventure. Count with me in!"

From Shiva's side that's no problem, how amusing that this has turned into a whole-party trip now!~ She's casting an inquiring glance over to Nathan though as he introduced the Ancestor Cave to them all and therefor respectfully has to give the okay.

"Though Meowth do need a bit of training before they are able to attack with this particular move. Huh, have you.... uhm, already used the cash you got from selling the gemstones and buillon-part we got on our trip through Mount Sentry that you are in need for more cash, Heart?" She's asking this with a mildly suprised tone of voice while facing him, wondering a little what needs to be bought or done to spend so much in a few days.

"Well, I might have forgot to sell the blue gem with me, and a half geode I find a time ago. But I used some of the cash to buy a few items and some important TMs for Gargryph like Sandstorm and Protect. Right now I have 5.433 Pokedollars. I have some items with me: 6 Potions, 2 Super Potions, 1 Antidote, 2 Burn Heal, 3 Full Heal, 2 Pokeballs, 3 Great Balls, 2 Steel Balls, 1 Aspear Berry, 1 Lum Berry and 2 Sweet Root. A well prepare trainer is better than two. Thats why I gonna with yours to get a Meowth and get some money to buy some important items. With Meowth Payday+Amulet Coin." Heart eyes become dollar sigh with the imagination of the rich. "Man, we gonna get rich!"
