I much like that quote from Einstein, true words regardless how old they are. Every time I hear or read it, I can't help but to silently agree to it.

As for the matter of the TM, unless anyone has any objections, its going over to Shiva, simply because while it would come in handy for a future Pokémon I want Terra to get (A Mawhile), it doesn't make sense IC or OOC to keep it when that lass is literally begging for it, and he knows that displeasing her is a bad idea.

I also should remind you Phantom that this TM is perhaps the only way that Raphael will be learning a decently powerful Fairy STAB without paying an exorbert Surprise Cost, while Cottenee/Azu can learn good Fairy STABs from the Learnset. You can use the TM on those fellows, but I wouldn't call it all that charitable to the archangel to deny him the chance to explore his fae heritage.

I'm set on wishing to keep the TM, please let me have it, people.... The only known TM that codes a Fairy Type move, not a weak one even, and asking me or Shiva to give it away? That wouldn't be very nice or compassionate.

Windos, you're right on the sentiment about Raphael and I am aware of that, yes. I'm highly undisclosed though between having Cottonee or Raphael learning it, for various reasons. Azumarill already has gained a Fairy-STAB via a Suprise bought by XP, before I decide who will learn it I might have to determine privately some costs for Suprise moves with GM... Togetic also learns Fairy Wind for 14xp naturally, that'd be 24xp for Raphael - correct, @Iron?

Cottonee is actually my first dragonslayer and it'd give her some more usage, even among moves she'll later learn. On the other hand, denying the archangel of that move feels wrong and mean.... Arrrrggghhhhh, I'll sleep over it and make a decision then! >o<;

The problem with denying her the TM is...well, its kind of pointless/useless for us to do so? Nobody but Nathan's Gallade has a use for Dazzling Gleam, and even then they already have a arguably 'better' Draining Kiss. Terra might have wish to keep it when/if he gets a Mawhile, but he has no real reason to keep it NOW when he knows that Shiva would get better use out of it than him + not piss her off by keeping it. Heart is currently diplomacing the Meowths, so he's totally detached from the situation, and wouldn't care about Dazzling Gleam unless 'Pokémon that can generate Bright Light' can also learn it, in which case his eel might be a canidate….but unlikely. By process of elimination, Shiva should be given the TM, since just keeping and/or selling the thing is just....wasteful or spiteful, depending on how you view it.

At least, that is how I figure it.

Huh....seems to me the Adventurer one is more focused on being supportive and gets along well with others, while the Scrappy one is FAR more attuned to combat, but potentially more trouble when evolved due to being so aggressive. I still want the Scrappy one, but if Heart wants to keep that powerhouse to himself, I won't mind getting the supporting/debuffing one instead.

On the note of Draining Kiss: It's still a fairly weak move.  Particularly since it's lacking STAB now.  Unless Gallade significantly buffs his Strength (likely via Swords Dance combined with Mega Evolution)/gets a surprise of some kind that makes it more usable, it's pretty much being reserved almost exclusively for usage against Dragons since his Psychic and Fighting STABs take care of Fighting and Dark types respectively.  And even against Dragons, Gallade's Psychic and Fighting moves are potentially powerful enough to still do more damage against Dragons than a SE DK (maybe not as reliably, but it's still something to note, particularly since Dream Eater and Drain Punch give him STAB health recovery moves.  Not having its in-game gimmick of restoring 75% of the damage dealt instead of 50% kinda hurts DK's usability a little, but it might be kinda hard to implement in Pokerole since it's a single digit system most of the time).  DG, on the other hand, is a spread move.  Gallade doesn't get many of those, and anything that can learn a spread move in pokerole can potentially get a lot of really good use out of it in any situation where they're fighting more than one opponent.

I think it'd be unlikely that Eelektrik could learn it since it can't in the games.  But if that categorization had been applied, I would have totally expected Ray to be able to potentially learn it.  Light is kinda his thing, after all.  (Yes, I know he gets Moonblast.  Again, not getting Dazzling Gleam isn't a huge deal).  Personally, though, I don't think this categorization would be entirely fair to some of the pokemon that can learn Dazzling Gleam in the games without being associated with light, so I'm fine with limiting the TM to Fairies and Gallade.
