Particularly if Grid backs it up with Screech and/or SE damage. It'd be even scarier if it worked like Rollout since the move has a similar damage scaling mechanic in the games, but it doesn't in the base rules. *shrug*
I stand by Joltik and Galvantula having some of the best synergy between their Ability and movepool in Pokerole. Few pokemon even come close to benefiting that much from their move and ability combos. Grid is one of Nathan's strongest pokemon, hands down. If he's brought to the battle, something is big is gonna happen guaranteed, and he'll be ;leaving you guessing as to which strategy he's going to use. Will he Fury Cutter? Drop your Dex in one of a variety of ways? Lay a Sticky Web? Nuke you with Electro Ball? Lower your defense with Screech? Some combination of the above? He's very versatile, and I love it.
With all that in mind, any battles against Nathan vs. Terra will also have the condition of Grid being disallowed as a pick, in exchange for Terra not fielding one of his own personal Pokemon. Gallade and Calam are one thing, since they're powerful but can be checked/countered and their set up/tricky Moves are manageable (somewhat), but Grid is just too unpredictable and versitle to reliably counter besides 'Send out a Bulky Pokemon that resists its Moves and/or can squish it ASAP' and Strong Priority/Revenge Killing, which while my chara. has in spades, its a big hurdle to deal with regardless. Use them against NPCs/Wild Pokemon to your heart's content, but I'm not putting myself in that thing's firing line anytime soon anymore. I am rather surprised it didn't sweep 2-3 of Terra's team with all the mass destruction/debilitation its capable, of in retrospect.....

Going offline to attend my next class, and I won't be online for the next 3 Hours, so just auto Terra for the time being Iron. See you then, mates!

I'm having better use for it, both for breeding Eevees in the future and due to Shiva already owning a female Umbreaon at home...
But let me first try out convincing it on my own.
Not sure Umbreon and Eevee 'springing over towards Nathan' was a friendly gesture, tbh...I'd be very surprised if it was, given the current situation and how Umbreon and Eevee have been reacting.
I'm not too sure either, but I guess we're about to find out, will we?

Oh hey, Iron... If my casted Lucky Chant does also affect the Empathy Check, I'd get another success, means it'll be 4 Successes vs. 2 Will.
Empathy, -2 penalty: (4)(1)(2)(3)(1)(5) (6) = 3 successes.
Will: (4)(2)(2)(6)(3)(2) (1) = 2 successes
I don't know how much this will change the reaction of the black fox, but I guess it can only become better for me.

I count 3 successes, actually. Lucky Chant included. One 4, one 5, one 6, two 1s, one 2, and one 3.

Considering you debilitated Shiranui yourself in not one, but two major ways that put him in an incredibly disadvantageous situation, Grid didn't really have to much in the debilitating department. Lol. I was gonna try to Fury Cutter 4 times before Melly took him out to try and get in as much damage as I possibly could, but I didn't get as lucky with QA as I did with Fake Out. I was totally expecting Grid to go down to Shiranui instead of the other way around.
Grid's one of the frailer pokemon on Nathan's team, so that's really his biggest downfall besides the 'four moveslot syndrome' he really, really suffers from. He can do a lot, but he probably won't get to do it all. He's usually KOed before he can. *shrug*
Whenever he does appear, though, his job is to cause a massive disruption of some kind, and he does a spectacular job of doing so, be it with Dex based strats, massive nukes, or just being plain annoying.

Well, looks like if Shiva wants Umbreon and Eevee, she'll have to take a Ditto, too, it seems...

You'll get favours for it, if you like, but most importantly: You regain a good part of Shiva's liking in you. Maybe not to the part where she's trusting you like in the beginning of the journey, but she may begin to see you as a friend again. How does that sound?

Hey guys, would any of you mind if Terra went off to claim all or most of the Star Pieces embedded in the wall for himself, before going off to catch Unown? As mentioned several times by me, he's pretty much dirt poor, and I'd like to get the Poke necessary for a couple of purchases/Camp training for Duskull, so a couple of them would really help towards those goals.
EDIT: Removed Info.
