That response caused Terra to look off to the side, appearing....solemn, but adamant as he answered.

*Pauses, then looks back to Nathan*

"…...You are all special. Can't see it, or feel it....but I know. Done great things no one else could. ...Will do more in the future. …*Shakes head, then points to self* Not a part of that. Not now....maybe not ever. *Clenches hand into a fist* …But I can do my own duty. The very best I can. To keep you all safe. To make you all stronger. More prepared. ...So that you all can do your duty....and finish your journey."

Terra doesn't take a seat with the boy, but he's no longer looming Intimidatingly over them either, so the net result is still positive. He doesn't have anything to say about to their follow up, but he has begun to frown thoughtfully. "Hm..."

Their last response, however, earned them a look of surprise from the mountainous monk, followed by what appeared to be....chastised as he quickly looked away again.

"....No. Did not. Only could think of what I could do to protect you. Not what you could do to....protect me. Or you...[i]wanting [/i]to...."

He trails off into silence, now looking and feeling distinctly uncomfortable and....confused.

"...as I said, Terra, we're a team.  You may be slower than most, but you're not dumb.  Honestly.  I don't think you should sell yourself short.  You can do great things too if you give yourself the chance.  And if you need a little help, don't hesitate to ask.  That's what we're all here for."

Nathan pauses, then looks at Gallade, who nods to answer some silent question.  Nathan closes his eyes, thinks for a second, then nods back and looks at Terra again.

"Lovely and your new Meowth are still out by the cave if I remember correctly.  I think they're probably fine, but Gallade wants to make sure you don't get into too much trouble trying to retrieve them.  Our new pink friend can't stray very far from the cave.  Gallade's going to go with you, just in case they're still hanging around.  Having a panic button to press and a way to quickly return to civilization is certainly a nice thing.  Oh, and one more thing: do you still have those pokeballs I loaned to you?"

Again, Terra looked mystified at Nathan's kind praise, because up to this point he had wholeheartedly believed he was an unimportant cretin in the grand scheme of things, only good in a few select areas and utterly useless in all others, and ultimately disposable compared to almost anyone else. Now, this clever trainer was continuously challenging that long ingrained notion, first by saving his life in spite of the great danger in doing so, and then sincerely believing in him.

Hardly anyone in his entire life had done so much to make him feel significant like that. Never had he expected that would happen so soon with anyone in the group, let alone occur in the first place.

Altogether, it made for....quite the heady revelation.

For a couple of minutes, the rugged wanderer remained like that as he chewed over the boy's words, until at last he almost grudgingly nodded to them, still looking deeply thoughtful and not altogether sure of many things.

"....Have to think about this....more...but I understand. *Shakes his head* Not happy with you.....endangering yourself....but can accept why you did. In group....everyone help everyone no matter what, unless they can not. Will....have to remember that now. *Pauses, then shakes head again*…Still. Don't....make habit of doing....stuff like that. …Unless you are sure. That its no big risk to you, or the others. Putting yourself in danger....makes me feel bad. Not happy. You getting....injured because of me, or......worse......would not be able to forgive myself. ...So if I have to...do my duty like that again....let me. Your's, Shiva's, and Heart's lives more important than mine. ….Please."

For the second part of the conversation, the mountain of a man looked ready to object to Gallade putting themselves in harms way, before he paused and thought it a little more (and of what he knew/recently learnt from/about Nathan/his psychic knight), and then let out a heavy *Sigh*.

"....Fine. Don't like Gallade risking himself....but both of you don't.....- *Grumbles under breath* ...maybe won't *Speaks up* want in too much danger, so he can come. *Beat, then frowns* ….Tiny Pink is not our friend. They tried to kill us. Chase us, far away from cave. *Shakes head* Not what a new friend or partner would do. *Pauses* …Most of the time...."

As for the Pokeballs, Terra simply hands them back after a couple of seconds, both slicked with leftover moisture from Murelicanth’s Hydro Pump. Hopefully they still work!

Heart also when he get better, he go in the direction of the PC to make some changes in his team. Heart currently party: Meowth, Lairon, Natu, Larvesta, Trevenant and Clawitizer. When Heart take the chance he summon both Clawitizer and Larvesta. "Heya you two. I bring you two to have a little conversation. You Gustav have been doing a awesome job in this party, helping to get some money with you Amulet Coin, and doing a great job beating trainers and getting stronger so I decided to give a gift for you. And you Larvesta, I want to give a welcome gift as a token of friendship." Heart search his bag and show two TMs to Larvesta and Gustav: The purple been Dragon Pulse and the green one be Giga Drain. "These my friends, its two very rare TMs: Dragon Pulse and Giga Drain. This Dragon Pulse TM will work wonderfull well with your Mega Launcher Ability Gustav. And since you have weakness to Water and Rock Larvesta, that TM gonna make you have a advantage against possible enemie."

Heart also go in the direction of Terra room and knock the door. He waits a few seconds to have permission to enter and then he enter. "Hey Terra. How are you feeling big guy?"

Nathan looks at the pokeballs for a moment.  Considers what Terra said...

Then he rolls the pokeballs back to Terra.  Plus another one which almost seems to appear from out of nowhere (though Nathan really just very swiftly pulled it out of one of his coat pockets.  They're not a GB, but they are worth as much as one as far as money goes).

"Keep 'em.  I think you need 'em more than I do.  Can't promise we won't be getting in more dangerous situations like that in the future, but I'll try not to make a habit of it.  I can't promise I won't try to think of ways to keep you safe, either.  Every life is precious, in its own special way...and you're no exception.  I don't think it's really that easy to say whose life is worth more, to be honest...besides, it's not exactly good for self esteem to think of it that way, in my opinion."

Yup, there ya go.  Nathan feels guilty about that situation too, and he's admitting it.  And for very similar reasons to what Terra just stated, no less.

Nurse Joy: "Ah, yes, nasty psychic types in Ancestor Cave sometimes. Solosis, Duosion, sometimes even Reuniclus."

All in all, your damage seems a lot less pervasive than the damage inflicted by Seikamater. You might reason that Mew was not fully "real" or incarnate, or it would probably have been a lot worse. Mew is known to possess virtually every possible attack, for example, and can fly at incredible speeds. (on the other hand, Mew is a fairly friendly Pokemon...)

'Nasty Psychic Types'... Shiva lets her head hang when Nurse Joy stated that, looking rather defeated, meek and to some degree even... ashamed; she doesn't respond anything verbally. Thinking back to that Mew they all managed to escape - luckily - another wave of shudder ran down her spine and she intuitively wrapped her arms around herself to tackle the exprienced chill. She's feeling ALL but okay about the fact that they've all enraged the Unown enough to call for Mew's aid, despite she's somewhat sure that it wasn't the real one but 'only' a revived form from the mural. That Mew acted so... so UNLIKE everything she knows about this species, so.... arrghhh, she's even missing proper words to describe it.


She can comphrehend WHY it has acted the way it has though. They were nothing but intruders, troublemakers, disturbing the stream of Unown and the ancient peace within Ancestor Cave - this hit the fae enthusiast especially hard, as this was anything she wanted NOT to be when visiting a place that's the home of wild Pokemon.

She's staying a little with Terra and Gallade, returning the friendly wave the latter gave her with a weak smile of her own. Actually, long enough to write up a Note for the resident mountain of a man/@Lord Windos, because she feels some words of gratitude are appropriate. Accompanying it is a single red Battle Nasturtium (the flowers Terra found during Berry-foraging and has given her, remember?) and a package of nuts and seeds from her own food supplies.

It reads the following.

Dear Terra,

uh... well, if you're reading this you're probably already up and about again, or have recovered enough already in order to being able to pick up and read things. That's great to hear for sure, after that attack from the revived Mew hit you so... hard.

That act of yours is also what I wanted to, you know, thank you for. Heaven knows what would have happened if it'd hit any of our Pokemon. I'm not lying when admitting that what you've done, how you stepped forward to take the attack when Mew readied itself, has impressed me. Lots. So... Thank you for protecting us all in that case, thank you for your strong will to risk yourself in order to enable us others to escape, just... just thank you. If what you've done isn't an act of heroism, I don't know what is.

Bravery, valor... All these are things I struggle with, but maybe if you're sticking with us I'll be able to learn a little more about these traits and manage to step out of my comfort zone a little more easily.

Rest a little for now, please make sure that you're alright again. Yes, I'd still love to meet Genie and her meeting my fairies, but that's... that's not urgent, priority is your recovery. From what you've told me about your lifestyle, I bet it won't take too long, haha... Let me know when you'll go out to forage Berries as that's something I still wish to accompany you in.

With that done, she makes her way up to her dorm again, but stops at Bill's PC: To her own amazement none of her Pokemon suffered any damage during the trip to Ancestor Cave... Maybe the revived Pokemon from the murals were able to 'sense' who the bigger threats were and concentrated her attacks on these?

One way or the other, Azumarill (not before performing some coin tricks on her Master though), Delphox; Tanuki and Lilith are stored in a Box for now, in return for these Vaporeon and Cottonee come to her again. Two slots remain free - she hasn't registered Umbreon and Eevee to a Ball yet!

It seems like Umbreon and Eevee and Ditto are simply happy to be away from that disaster. Doesn't seem like they've ever met up with a Legendary in their homecave! They're definitely not used to Shiva or civilization yet, so they do things like steal curtains and bedclothes to make a comforting bed on the floor.

Spotting what the small family of foxes has done with the curtains and bedclothes in the meantime, she can't help but to laugh rather dearly. "Now though...", she tells them in a friendly tone, "One does not rip off the curtains from a window. In fact, let me register you all to these two Safari Balls at first so that we can travel together - how does that idea sound you? No worries, I'll keep you all together. Together as a small family."

Shiva herself is smiling lightly all the time to them, seems to enjoy their company a lot already. She's even helping them making their bed on the floor more comfortable by providing some fluff and Cottonee herself, Raphael is watching everything - it's some needed peacefulness for the archangel and Shiva herself after that trip to the cave.

Some Gourmet Food is also offered to Umbreon, Dittumbreon and the young Eevee, two packages in total. "As your caretaker now, it's my duty to make sure you're all well and fed - enjoy your food, will you? It may be a little different from what you're used to eat, but please give this a try. Now that you're with you, you won't have to hunt for your food anymore - though IF you'd be interested in a trip to hunt, Umbreon, let me know, alright?"

She's giving them a little space and privacy then, knowing that they may not eat while she's watching. Do they accept the offered food though? Does Eevee, as the one with the highest Loyalty to her, allow Shva to stroke him a little? And what does he say/how does he react to the offer of a brother or a sister?

At some point, Shiva also registers the Shiny Unown U to a Pokeball from her ( = her OT and ID) and the G Terra has given to her to the remaining Ball she has requested from Nathan.

And upon reaching the Center (and briefly checking that Terra and Gallade are doing okay), he also asks Heart for the Unown U he caught, and heads to Shiva's room to ask her about the three Unown letters that she caught. He has a good feeling that he'll find her there. (If you want to RP that a little, Phantom, we can start with Nathan knocking on the door.)

(Yes, I do, in a flashforward as I'd like to spend a little time with the Eevee Family before that happens.)


Some knocking on the door catches Shiva off guard, she was just trying to get the young Eevee to play a little with her. Staring at the door wondering whether she should open or just ignore it, her senses tell her that it can only be one person, right... Eventually she sighs a little, lets Eevee grab the feather used as a toy, gets up and opens the door - it was indeed Nathan, her intution was correct.

"Well, hello. Come in if you like.... You're probably here for the Unown I caught and Terra has given me, right? Find yourself a seat. Before I hand the Unown to you, would it be okay for you if I, eh... join when you'll be handing them to Professor Laurelin? I'd like to ask her something myself and show her that...Shiny U I caught. Please? When do you plan to visit her?" her voice was calm the whole time, maybe a little lower due to exhaustion, but friendly for sure.

The Eevee family is eating and feeling somewhat comfortable, at least physically. Eevee does allow a few pats before he gets restless. Shiva thinks they will soon be receptive to meeting Vaporeon and the Egg.
