Terra brings out the Dunsparce Egg, and he and Anubi bend down to look at it. It has already developed its first crack, radiating outward from a single point! At the touch of his warm hand, the Egg starts cracking, and the little baby newborn Dunsparce comes tunneling out backward!!

In a flash of insight, you roll the cold steel of the Beldum Egg on Kecleon's bruises. It soothes a bit of the pain. You also bandage the wound where barbs pierced Kecleon's wrist. Whenever you do something that hurts, Kecleon turns invisible.

Caesar is leaking a little poison where he was Sucker Punched, so the best thing you can do for him is staunch those weeping bruises. After managing that, Kecleon decides to follow you around for the day and see what it's like being on an adventure with Heart. If he enjoys it, he'll join your party in a Pokeball. For now, he doesn't count against your six Pokemon.

Aww!~ It's nice to see that the Miltank and Shiva can meet on common ground here. She's having enough Chesto Berries that -1 doesn't really matter, and MooMoo Milk is quite worthy appearantly as I only now saw that it restores one more HP than a Super Potion at the drawback of not being useable in battle. Pretty cool.


As the child of the big city no way Shiva has ever milked a Miltank before, but she's insightful enough and has watched Bell and Tramp doing so a few times that she rather quickly gets how to do it, she's looking quite pleased over that. This was fun! It's a bit tirering for her though, but she happily packs away two bottles of all fresh milk right from the Miltank before thanking the cow with a kind pet over the head. "I guess that'll do it. Many thanks for allowing me to milk you!"

Sharing a bit of milk with Kyuu while enjoying the fading rays of sunlight allured with Sunny Day and the precious view from atop the hill (on purpose Shiva gazes into the opposite direction than the Almanac Facility) was calming and reenergizing, soon enough though she bid a friendly farewell to this Miltank. "Enjoy yiur further training! Maybe we'll see one another again, but I'll surely think of you when sharing your milk with my Pokemon or group members. See you!~" Even Kyuu bids a happy goodbye with one paw. He has never tasted such fine milk!

Back to the others Shiva eventually returned, looking fine and alright again. From her side, they can continue following the Route towards Bill's summer stay.

The area around Bill's little retreat is meticulously managed to provide lots of unusual Pokemon for Bill to catch, and to provide him with relaxing views when he's getting away from his famous computer screen. And to inspire new PC settings for Pokemon storage!

He has little rows of Berry plants, neatly hiding perfectly straight fences which keep in certain members of his Pokemon collection.
He has crop fields with wild Pokemon in them.
He has a little tarn north of his house, which spills down to power a water wheel. The water flows on down to where you are, SE of his house.

Strangest of all, he has a big lantern on a long lanternpost. It emits light and sound in many frequencies. Some Bug Pokemon are flapping around it currently. Kecleon's stomach rumbles.

The road leading to his house looks well-traveled by delivery trucks. Sometimes, items fall off those trucks.

Shiva's way more startled by Caesar by Heart's side than the curious floating stripe, letting out a swallowed and high-pitched "Eeeeeekkk!" before leaping to hide behind Terra and clinging to his sleeve. Peeking cautiously from behind his back though at that Nidorino with widened eyes, she soon frowns at it quizzically as she picks up barely to no aggression from this highly poisonus creature - this eases her a little, but by far not enough to be comfortable around Caesar or even give an inch of trust to him. As long as the Nido leaves her and her Pokemon alone though she will do as as well, but Kyuu jumping down from his Master's shoulder to give a sharp hiss to the Nido speaks very clearly: 'Do not come closer! I dare you to do so, I'm not afraid at all to show you my psychic powers...! ' Shiva does nothing to calm Kyuu, but he's not doing anything unless being ordered so.

She comes up from her hide a little, but still prefers to keep Terra and Kyuu between her and Nidorino as a pure safety measure. After all, she's better safe than sorry and wouldn't really take things taking a bad turn now. In her voice there's an audible effort to give herself fine and normal. "Uh... Welcome back Heart! That's a...neat invisible Kecleon you got there. " She pauses a little to smile mischievously at the floating red stripe, can't fool her! 'Journey through destiny' sounds quite dramatic but neat to her as it earns a light chuckle. "Ah... I, uh, sure I can help you finding fruit of herbs, or you can have something from my stock - I've packed a portion of fresh fruit for along the way from the Center's cafeteria, you want half of that? And we, well, still haven't found the time to prepare that claw from Gustav together as you requested, haven't we? Maybe tonight at the campfire we can try?"

After that chat with Shiva, Heart was walking with Iron (A-Geodude), Larvesta and the Beldum egg in his arms, until he feel something hit his leg. Not enough to make him fall and drop the egg, but enough to catch his attention. He see in the ground a item and he kneel to have some close inspection.

(Does my Chara have to provide one of his own Pokeballs for his Dunsparse, or does he automatically get one to catch them like in the games?)

Terra nearly dropped his Egg in surprise as it suddenly started hatching on, though fortunately Anubi was able to stabilize his grip by giving him a wallop on the shoulder to tense him up. They're most likely less surprised about this event than their partner, as his time at the Shelter no doubt had witnessed one or a few Egg hatchings happen while skulking around the place, and so was able to timely intervene to save the nearly born baby!

Of course, given the way the smol chubby snake easily burrowed her way into the world (I want them to be a she!) and innocently greeted them, they needn't had worried so much, but hey, the thought counts!

He (Terra) couldn't help but return their loving stare with with his a awe inspired and captivated one of his own. From what little he knew and learn about Breeding, Dunspare's hatching shouldn't have been all that momentous for the mountain of a man, but it somehow managed. Here was a fresh faced Pokemon, brought forth into the world in part thanks to his own  ponderous care, looking upon him with such open, unabashed, and frank adoration. Already he could feel a strong, impassioned, and loving bond form between him and the smol chubby snake, and it was quite unlike any other he'd experienced, save with his blood brother Shiranui......

.....and with his own mother and father.

That errant thought churned up his thunderstruck emotions, a half increadulous, half awed musing coming to the forefront of his mind.

'.....Am I......does she see me her dad?'

Anubi's reaction was likely one of both discomfort and incessant curiosity, as he wasn't used to receiving the level of affection the serephem to be was giving him, but at the same time his natural exuberance, childish nature, and instincts insisted, nay, demaned he go eagerly greet the little one before welcoming them into the pack! Its not everyday one gets to socialize with a newborn Pokemon (save for perhaps Breeders), so he wanted to fully avail himself of their company lickity split! At this point the aural jackal noticed his master was still dumbly staring at his kit, so with characteristic recklessness he smacked them upside the head to snap them out of it, before leaping from their shoulder to her a good sniffing. Beyond that, I leave the rest to you, Iron!

Meanwhile, the simple monk had to blink a few times and shake his head to clear away the daze his own thought's/his own doggie's pounding gave him, giving them a third irritated, third thankful, and third bemused once over for their brusqueness, until at last he finally introduced himself to his......little one, couching down to better meet them face to face.

"....Hello there. My name is Terra. I am your......papa. Its.....nice to meet you at last, little one. I promise that I will take care of you. Now.....and forever. Understand?"

He offered them a small, nervous, yet tender smile and his hand after he finished speaking to her, and awaited their response with baited breath. It was highly unlikely he'd be able to screw up his first impression to the child, but.....well, can you blame the big lug for being so uncertain about this? Hopefully all turns out well, like it is expected to be.....

When Nido is returned into the safety of his Ball, Shiva visibly relaxes, Kyuu gives a satisfied huffing noise as he feels a bit responsible for having Heart recalling the poisonous creature. He didn't even had to open his folded ears for a REAL act of intimidation, hehe! His mood quickly patters out into a calm and content one as he's picked up by Shiva and softly placed on her shoulder where he loosely wraps his two tails around her neck, tickling her with the tip while doing so. Nightshade has been recalled into her Ball as the rain set in again, closing her petals again to a comfy cloak.

Clawitzer Sound is something she has never tasted before, but she's having a silent fondness for noble and luxurious food so this does surely sound up her ally. Nodding in agreement to Heart, she lets him know that this plan sounds fine and she's okay to help him preparing it unless something unexpected ends up crossing the plans. Averting her gaze to muster the very interesting stones of the Route though, she turns meek and even blushes a little. "I-I... I'm not psychic though! That'd be cool... But I'm not that special."
