[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
Aside from an interaction with Anubi/Terra (Is Anubi out btw?) my encounters for this IG day are done. By the way the egg group guess was both IC and OOC. (Human-like and Field are the actual groups, I just checked.) Also, not counting Pachi, Spira has one more pokemon that hasn't been seen yet. Look forward to his next gym battle!

Hey, Iron, it's not little that I have to update-read myself on and react to, so if you could please give me a bit of time to respond properly in-game before moving on that'd be much appreciated.

I'm prefering to keep myself out of any discussions about what happened there between Ventus/Sage/Me which eventually brought a point onto the former's Trainer's Lisence, but I'm actually quite liking that customized Umbrella of Elektruxo regardless whether it's illegal to use in official battles in our time - I'm having Pokemon that benefit well from the increased power holding this umbrella will bring, I can use it to heart's content in the time it's allowed to and I would want to see the wild Pokemon that'd care if an opponent is carrying and using an Item that's against the rules.

Anubi might be out?  It sounded like Terra had him and Shiranui out to help guard Shiva from what I gathered from the last two posts where Windos mentioned Anubi.

Monster ain't a bad guess, though, given that the Chupacho line is partially based on the Chupacabra Tongue

Maybe, probably, I'm actually not opposed to that as it sounds like quite an interesting possibility - yet I'm still very unsure whether I'd want other charas to go beyond 2 points in my customized Move Tutoring Speciality. If that's intended, it'd be best if we'd talk and share thoughts privately and on-time to prevent any conflicts or unpleasant suprises from occuring.

It strongly depends how things develop and how things are handled, which moves it'll be, how things are brought up etc., in short - it's a delicate thing to do that's require a careful approach. Yes, Shiva agreed to take a fresh start with Nathan and try to oversee the issues they were having, but me feels 'trust in each other' is something that yet has to be worked on or worked on more. Nothing changes about how she sees and deals with Orthros though, that's something I'd like to keep unchanged from Shiva's viewpoint.

Torment is definitely a really, really good move in Pokerole.  It's decent in the games on bulkier pokemon with a decent amount of resistances and few weaknesses (Torment Heatran comes to mind), but with how the Round mechanics work in Pokerole, it shuts off ALL moves used in the previous round.  Which is particularly devastating in the case of League battles, where you're only allowed 4 moves for the entire battle.

Stealth Rock is just good, and we all know why Tongue

I'm personally really looking forward to getting Juliet some more Perform based attacks.  Mainly Role Play (tutorable), Feather Dance (normally an Egg Move), Skill Swap (learnable via level), and Hidden Power (also learnable via level, and more than likely to use Perform).  Skill Swap, Transform, Recover, Dream Eater, and Hidden Power are probably the moves I'm looking at teaching her the most.  Maybe Shadow Ball after she evolves.

A fun idea I had was using Role Play to copy an Ability, and then using Skill Swap to pass that Ability to a different pokemon.  There's a lot that you could potentially do with a combo like that.

*ahem*

Uh...very, very important note, @PhantomUnderYourDesk: the Pokedex hasn't been invented yet because not even Professor Samuel Oak has been born yet as of 1925. We're 92 years in the past, and Oak is...57 years old as of Skull Ruins if 2017 is the present time. The Pokedex was invented by Oak just before the events of the Kanto games, 10 years prior to the events of Sun and Moon (and thus Skull Ruins).

IF you want, I can have Nathan mention this IC just before Shiva pulls out her pokedex. Or I can mention it later and Shiva can still pull it out, however...that's likely grounds for Alert rolls from Nathan (which I would like in that case, because this is stuff that Nathan is paying very careful attention to) and Spira (if Mika thinks he's paying enough attention to notice something so out of place)

By extension, another thing to note: none of the present day major NPCs from the main series pokemon games and Uranium are around yet. Even some of present day Creshire's older NPCs aren't around in 1925. 92 years is a loooonnnngggg time for most humans.

What about AZ? He's over 3000 yrs old according to bulbapedia, and plays a pretty integral part in X/Y's story.

But I deliberately stated that she draws it with utmost carefulness = in a way that none notices, in fact the others are more busy with speaking with Spira now so I felt it's secure enough for her to do that. If this action though calls for an Alert Check, I'd like to edit things and have her draw her Almanac when she's alone to see what it tells her about Chupacho.

He's a special exception because the Ultimate Weapon granted him and his Floette eternal life.  Hence why I said most humans.  Arguably, AZ is even a little more than human now, since his aging process was vastly altered by Xerneas's power (Yveltal's doesn't make much sense in this case, but I imagine the weapon originally used a mixture of both and Lysandre only really focused on using Yveltal's).

Yes, that's the canonical reason for why he's so tall.
