[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
So, I was thinking carefully about how Terra might know about Lucky Eggs besides word of mouth because they're such sought after items...there's no Chansey in Hoenn, so it's certainly not because of that...

But then I remembered that there is one pokemon that can be found holding Lucky Eggs in Hoenn: Pelipper!

That's only in OR/AS, but it is a canon source of Lucky Eggs in Hoenn!

@Spiritmon, if you want that Metal Coat that's embedded in Rhyhorn, you'll have to get that removed before you trade it.  Something else to think about before you unveil a 2017 pokeball in 1925 to a Snake Oil salesman and potentially also a small, well off family (both of which are liable to start talking a spreading rumours for varying reasons).

Metal Coats also increase the power of Steel type moves, which is another thing to keep in mind.

There's also a crowd gathered now, which is...even more people that might potentially make us the talk of the town in multiple ways if they see us as...unusual enough to be worth talking about, shall we say.

That's probably going to be something saved for when we get back to the modern era of 2017, I imagine.  You'll need a medical practitioner of some variety if you want to get that item out without potentially harming Rhyhorn seriously (maybe even permanently).  And more modern times means more reliable medicinal techniques.

It might be cheaper than buying a Metal Coat, though.  Those cost $3k.  Or if it's not, you could just sell off Rhyhorn and buy a Metal Coat afterwards if you wanted.

I won't reply in-game before not having some things answered by GM to me, which means the others can happily conduct their trades with the good Doc before I do/before talking with him. Technically, I wish for Shiva to have Dr. M's undivided attention when she approaches him, if needed that means a small flashforward.

I'm having one more question towards you Iron, additionally to those I've sent you privately - sorry if a bit much at the moment. But since Mika did return the Mirror Hat to Dr. M, is it up for sale as well? It's not in the list, but I'd be interested in it for Gothy, Spinda and possibly Vaporeon, as these have secure or in Vaporeon's case good ways to inflict confusion to a foe and this Item is all legal to use. Though it strongly depends how high the sell price is.

Besides @Mikaruge108, welcome in the club of highly insightful people! It's my favorite attribute.

Btw, @Mikaruge108, something I want to mention is that Grass is completely immune to sleep according to the core book.  As a consequence, though, they're vulnerable to all Spore/Powder type moves/effects (that don't inflict Sleep, anyways).  Just so you know in the future.

Spira might not know that the Deerling is grass type IC. And i noticed that in the core book after making that post.

Just wanted to make sure you knew OOC, that's all.  If you want to play the character as being unfamiliar with pokemon not findable in Sinnoh, that's fine.

Outta curiosity, what does Spira think of Calam?  His scarred left eye (it's not blinded, though) definitely makes him stand out, even among other Absol.  (It's also the only blemish on his otherwise perfect coat of pure white fur)

- Is the amount of bonus exp it grants after an encounter going to be 1 like in the book?  Or something else that could make it slightly more effective?
- Does it only apply to battles, or will it also apply to other things like Training, Move Tutoring, etc.?

And another, unrelated question: have 'modern' pokeballs stronger than the standard one even been invented yet?

It'll be 2, because I'm doubling battle XP on a regular basis. Thanks for reminding me.
I'll let it count for Training Rolls too, also as 2XP.

Great Balls and Ultra Balls have not been invented yet. Apricorn flavors have, and their designs are similar to the modern style.
