[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

I'm having one question though, Iron, or more like something I'd like to have your input before posting: If the sensitive Pokemon and both Absol are so on alert, what feelings of the general scene does Shiva pick up with her more-than-human-high Insight?

That's a very interesting question - Shiva doesn't actually feel any tense emotions in the surroundings. Just the lackadaisical organization of the packs, the furtiveness of Pokemon hiding in the mountains, and the anxiety of the party's Pokemon as described already. 

The little wild Pokemon don't seem afraid of anything in particular, they haven't been startled, they aren't on alert like Dizzy and Calam. If Shiva sends out one of her battlers, she'll perceive that it doesn't sense anything the way the more Earthpowerful Pokemon do.

Let me state something about that Rapidash before I begin to type up a response and reaction to the happening please: That Rapidash has a good sentimental value towards Shiva, she'll probably be a little protective over it, seek its closure here in the cold and such. The fact that it's stolen from the Eastern Plains and perhaps has gotten away with that adds some weird excitement.

And Nathan knows his Rapidash, having grown up around them his entire life, so would it really be that much to ask for Shiva to trust he knows what he's doing?  And on top of that, Nathan is also the only one in the party who probably isn't at least a little confused about why the heck a seemingly random Rapidash from Sarimanok's time has followed them to the past via the lurching.

Honestly, I don't see why Nathan wouldn't have an opportunity to get closer, examine it, and make sure it's staying calm.  And IC, I'm also kinda expecting questions about why Nathan isn't surprised about Rapidash's (and maybe Farfetch'd's) presence (since only the player characters and the pokemon they directly own have been lurched through time up until this point) and/or why his PTC was/is(?) glowing.

Oh, I know that he has grown up with the Ponyta Line and stuff, that's not really what I meant - examinating and co. is alright, if anyone gets too close to her swiped mount Shiva will show that she's not too amused by that. If one is confused or worried or whatever about it and wishes to know why it's there, one can always speak up and ask her. She MIGHT not answer right now due to things though, depends ow things go.

I will likely concentrate more on the scene and the happenings, that's somewhat more what I'd like to do than asking questions now. I'm sorry, but - priorities!

Examining the horse kinda involves getting closer to it so Nathan can pick out some of the finer details in this case.  Nathan didn't pull the horse out of Sarimanok's era for Shiva's benefit, he pulled it away to get it to (hopefully) relative safety, so he wants to personally make sure everything's okay.  Which means checking it over in detail.

In short, Nathan doesn't view the horse as Shiva's personal mount yet.  Shiva will probably have to talk this over with Nathan before he starts doing so.  Nathan's general policy is that if you take a pokemon from its home, you're responsible for providing a good home for it, or finding one for it if you aren't going to.

Not going to really be able to convince Nathan to not check the horse over, I'm afraid, since he's the one most experienced with the species.

I'll adress some of these things in what I'm already typing up, just give me the time to get everything done. I'm on it! ^^; Won't reply in MetaThread anymore now, steals time.

I'm not even up to convince him to not check it over, let us not get into a fight over things once more - he can do what he is curious about/wishes to know while not overdoing or monopolizing it, definitely, trying to ask for not doing that would be mean and not fair, that's all. Next please!

I know this argument has already been resolved, but I personally fighting over who has the right to inspect/not inspect Rapidash is silly, since Shiva should know even through her distrust and protectiveness that looking after horses is what Nathan's good at/is a good thing, especially since she's a breeder herself. Nothing is stopping her from cuddling the beast and calming it down her own way while he's doing his own thing too, dear.

Terra just instantly accepted that Farfetch'd and a Rapidash being pulled back in time is 'normal' , and shouldn't be worried about. He's also not paying close attention to his PTC, and more so to his surroundings for possible danger, interesting things, impending disaster, resources, and where his group is in relation to all of the above (He'll comment on it later, though). As mentioned before, he's no longer phased by LURCHING! (among other things), and has a different set of priorities than most everyone else!

It's a pretty good kickstarted card game.  Think Russian Roulette, except you actually have tools to disarm and avoid the exploding kitten to make it less reliant on pure luck.

Also picked up One Night Ultimate Werewolf.  Might be playing some more card games a little later with my sister.

One Night is amazing. I used to play lots of werewolf games on a forum I used to visit.
Kittens is not my style.
