[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
(10-30-2018, 08:37 PM)Spiritmon Wrote: To Phantom: Indeed. If they someday make a Pokemon based on Saci, one of his types would be Fairy-type problably since he is very tricky like a Fairy-type too. There are other Brazilean legends here: The headless mule who have fire in the place where her head and was a woman who fall in love with a priest, the boitata who is a serpent with his body in fire who was spirits of animals who die in flood (and was also the inspiration of the creation of Baitato the legendary serpent of sea in Uranium), Iara the mother of the waters who use her voice to atract men to kill in her waters.

And there is one of the most fear: Mapinguari. A giant creature with black bristle with one eye and a giant mouth in his abdomen who devour the head of people. He put a head of a person in his mouth and then eat it slowing. Its a pretty paintful way to die. But there is also many others like the Dry-Body, Curancanga, Curupira and many others. I will stop here because I dont want let people have nightmares ^^"

To Dragonstrike: Interesting. Its a shame we not comemorate here in Brazil such holliday. One of the reasons would because there is some danger from times to times and you cant even walk in the streets with a cell in the hand to much late of the night without the danger about have your things steal D: I would indeed like to live in United States to participate in that Trick-or-Treat for sure. That would be awesome. I think you should go indeed Dragonstrike. These type of holidays is cool to visit.

The whole thing with Saci also reminds me a little bit of Hoopa, tbh.  Moreso the standard form rather than the Unbound, though.  (yes, I know the main influence for Hoopa is a genie in a lamp)

I'll be working for most of the evening, so I won't be handing out too much candy myself.  There'll be candy and stuff at work apparently, though Smile  And I might help hand out some candy when I get home if there are any Trick-or-treaters still out and about after 11 PM (probably not many since it'll be a wednesday night, but there might be some).  Or maybe I'll just sleep.

Maybe. The brazilean culture have inspiration and origins with many others. Its a mix literally speaking: Indigene, european, portuguese, african, and some others. We have our version from the werewolf included.

Nah, just do what you feel its better man. What kind of costume you think in use if you go in the candy hunt?

Oh, I'm definitely not going on the T-o-t.  I've got work to do tomorrow, and as I said, it's mostly for the kiddos.  I've not actually gone trick-or-treating in years (though that could change in the future for obvious reasons.  Who knows if or when that will happen, though).  My mom is usually the one who takes my younger sisters out to scavenge for treats.

That said, even the adults handing out candy dress up.  I've got a simple wizard costume in my closet that I might put on.  Also a Darth Vader one, but I don't think the mask would be appropriate for work (I might steal the cape from it this year, though).  I've also got a buccaneer, but I like the wizard one more.  Store bought costumes are fine and dandy for me, tbh.

You know, its been a few years since I write a story myself. After so many years ago, I have lost the creativity in make fanfics. Yeah, I can still make some lore and all, but I could not make huge stories with many chapters like fanfics. But after making the story of Heart, and create mythology behind the clans and all I been thinking...huh, thats actually something interesting. Maybe I should try write something about that!

So, I begin a side story of the Skull Ruins. It would be more or less some kind of Heart writing a diary in some moments of his travels with Nathan and everyone, telling events of the past. From the long past and more recently ones. It would be more or less like the time I make the notes about Deltamons he meet in the journey, but a bit more longer. I going to update from time to time, adding a few chapters and make corrections here and there, not always since I have few things to do^^"

The first part its just a introdutory chapter, to use as a ground. Any kind of suggestion would be cool since I not the most smart or creative person in kinds of story.

*snickers a little*

General rule of thumb, @Spiritmon: if it can be found in the Skull Ruins and looks a little spooky, it's probably a Ghost type.

That battle made me laugh. Look at Meowth just chucking money right through a ghost and having a blast.

Yeah indeed XD Also Iron I noticed something wrong in the battle: Meowth HP its 8. Meowth Base HP (3) + Heart Vitality (5) = 8 HP. I have level up the Vitality stat remember?
