Uuuuuuuugggghhhhh....I JUST got home. Had to stay over 2 hours to cover the counter while my coworkers tried to activate some contract phones that they didn't get activated until they'd been trying to for 8 hours....AND I need to go back to work around 12 hours from the time of this post because the Black Friday sale isn't over yet.

I'll survive, but man, I feel like a zombie right now...

Ick, Ick Ick Ick. Mate, I hope you get through the shopping frenzy with your health and safety intact. I've heard that people sometimes die or get badly hurt due to all the excitement, so stay safe mate!

Yeah, sometimes people get trampled by the crowds.  There were apparently some bad enough fights at some places that it warranted making the headlines.  (Thankfully, none happened at my store)

I just found out the best part about my Black Friday work shifts, though: somehow, I ended up scheduled for a 7 AM - 10 PM shift tomorrow.   Uuuugggggghhhh...I'll have to talk with my manager about that one...

EDIT: Okay, good news. It's not a 7-10 shift. It's either 7-4 or 1-10. I'll know which one by the end of the day. Hopefully.

Heading back to work for a definitely more reasonable shift in a couple minutes. Response times will likely be slow.

Be gladly you dont have to come to Fortaleza. You cant even walk with a cell in your hand then comes a bandit with a weapon in the hand saying: "Pass the money!" You can even die if you dont pass what the bandit say. And in Black Friday its even worse. Imagine you have buy the items you wanted so badly, and you dont have a car and need to bring everything with you to home. The possibility for a bandit go in your direction and rob everything you buy its very high.

Trust me, here in brazil the Black Friday can indeed become a real Black Friday in the literal sense of the idea.

Yeah.  A little tired, but otherwise fine.  Home an hour late tonight because it was extrenely busy specifically in Electronics and nowhere else in the store.

We're in cleanup mode, now.  7-4 shift for me tomorrow.  (And thank goodness for that)

I'm going to be sooooo relieved when I have a day off...

......I'm beginning to appreciate the fact I completely dodged Black Friday altogether by not going out shopping. Price drops and sales are good and all, but not when it comes at the expense of the salespeople and others (including myself, if I happen to get caught up in some malacky, or getting trampled by other over eager shoppers....).

That's (almost) exactly why I don't typically shop on Black Friday. (Assuming I'm not working during it, that is)

Once you've experienced being on the sales side of the equation, it definitely changes your perspective of the event.

On a less torturous and exhausting subject, what do you think Nathan's reaction will be once he sees that Angie has grown into a Dunseraph, despite it only being less than a 'week' since her evolution (If we count the days during the Time Travel, its been.....about four or five days since her hatching)? I know Nathan shares a interest in her, and she'd no doubt be rather interested in getting to know him better now that she's a full fledged Dragon.
