Hmm, Iron, if I use damage moves on Sawsbuck is this make Heart fail in the test give to Chespin?

It doesn't sound like that would be within the spirit of the test, no.

I did forget about the item! Woad is supposed to offer you your choice of Fire, Water, or Thunder stone, @Spiritmon.

Hmm, after a quick research I decide to grab the Thunder Stone. Typhon is my only pokemon who evolve though stone of all my Pokemon, so now I can evolve him when I need. A full evolved Eekletross ready to Zap any foe in the path!
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

Hey @Lord Windos, you remember these branches of Umbreon Throrn Acacia Shiva and Terra have found during exploring the rainforest area in the final timetravel? They can be made into fishhooks to fish up Gyarados, Tubareel, Carvanha, Crawdaunt, Froakie and Inkay in particular, that'd go well with the Super Rod you've bought. I've got one branch collected back then, does Terra have any or not? Depending how many hooks can be made from one branch (GM's discretion) there's potential for sharing to reel in good Pokemon, would you be up to lend the Rod to me at some point also? I might try catching a Tubareel for trading or selling, if I remember correctly a roll of fish up things uses Nature Speciality so Shiva's changes to catch something neat are high.

Yeap, and I have my own Umbreon Thorn too, so if Shiva could Craft one for Terra to use himself, that be gravy!

He'd be willing to share his Super Rod, but he'd also want a favor done in exchange for using it, as it costed him a pretty Poke to get the ultimate reel, so he wants to profit off it anyway he can to pay off the investment cost. Probably ask for a Tutor session or Crafting a whole 5 units worth of Lapis Lazuli's Tears (Which he'd create on the spot, and the total quality roll for that would be Crafting Roll Success * 100).

If you want to catch a Tubareel, you might want to buy Better Quality Bait and use the Kobra Tongue Fern in fishing along with the Hook, as both would maximize the odds of getting either Tubareel, or a Gyarados, which would sell for a LOT if you could take it down and catch it (Which you should at this point, with your team!). A Fishing Rolls consists of both Survival AND Nature, so you'd have a 8 or 9D6 Roll to catch something + the successes on the Super Rod + the bait and hook. Terra has a 7D6 Roll, as he has 2 Points in Nature, plus the BQB he bought, so he's no slouch on those rolls either! In fact, he used to catch fish Pokemon with his bare hands in streams back in Hoen as both a form of training and grabbing meals for him and his carnivorous Pokemon, so using a reel will be quite a novel experience for him!

As an added anoucement, if anyone is participating in the Safari Cup, then you are free to also borrow Terra's Super Rod (Assume he's already told everyone about it) to fish in the High Level Area for those Rare/Powerful Pokemon, but in exchange I'd like my chara. to be compensated in some way for reliquishing his reel. That is all!

That's like so cool, reminds me on grizzly bears catching salmon in Alaska. ^^

Ah, it's more than fair that you don't want to loan the Super Rod like nothing given how expensive it was, a Tutoring or Crafting Session in return from me/her sounds like a good deal. She'd alos be very up to make fishooks for Terra from the branch if he comes to her with that request.

The Kobra-tongue Fern is for making medicine stronger than a Full Heal when I'll mix it with the leaves taken from Heart's Trevenant was still a Phantump, but if a bit remains to use as Bait, sure. Dafaque, a Gyarados though... I'd roast it with a a pair of jolly and Plus-Minus-boosted and Expert Belt/Electruxo's Umbrella-empowered Electric Rodents, that'd be something. :>

Catching a Gyarados in the Safari Zone is harder than you might think. You'd be lucky to get its Will down to 5 in opposition to a 2 Seal Safari Ball.

In the wild of course you can faint it and get it in a couple throws.

Man, Creshire's Safari Zone definitely ain't like other regions'.

For example, Safari Balls actually have a catch rate equivalent to a Great Ball's in the main series.  :/

So they do! I'll have to think about whether that would be better.

Maybe Gyarados (and Tyranitar and such) just need more than 10 Will.

Yeap! Preferably at a pond/pool that isn't being used by too many other Trainers, so as to increase the likelihood of getting something good.

Question: Could a Pokemon be Teleported out of the Safari Zone, THEN Fainted/captured legally, since you are no longer in the Zone and are subjected to its rules? Similarly, could a person transport a Pokemon out of the Zone via non-capture methods, then Faint/Capture legally? Nathan has double Teleporters AND a Sleeper in Gallade and his Ditto (If its able to Transform freely, anyway), so he could feasibly pull off the combo if he designates a Teleport destination that is nearby TV.

More questions: Can a Pokemon be Grudged/Spite, then captured, since depleting their Will doesn't 'Faint' them per say, but makes it infinitely easier to catch them? Could somebody weaken a Pokemon, Poison/Burn them, then 'leave the area' (IE: Not be around when the Pokemon Faints) and come back to capture them when they Faint legally? What about setting traps for a Pokemon that can't escape them, and offer to them to either be captured and freed from the trap, or be left in it? Bribing Wild Pokemon to attack/Faint another Pokemon you want, and then capture the Fainted foe? Luring a Pokemon outside the Safari Zone, then Fainting/Capturing them? Getting a Pokemon to KO itself, and then capture them, since you didn't Faint them?

I'm asking these questions to cover all bases, as well as possibly give everyone else more leeway in snagging 'mons from the Safari. All the methods are creative, but hey, if it works and is totally legal.....
