Klutz: No Held Items = A Strickly inferior Pokemon, unless it has crazy awesome Moves/quirks
Stall: Always going last = punching bag! Only good this is for is making Payback always good or Counter Moves decent, but that's a pretty slim utility.
Truant: Having to do a Loyalty Roll to act? Not good!
Lazy: Sleep upon being sent out is not good, period, unless the target can't be Statused again until it wakes up.
Light/Heavy Metal: Not good in the slightest, unless they are being Targeted with Low Kick/Grass Knot or have Heavy Slam. Even Pressure is more generally useful than THAT.
Defeatist: Halving your Offensive Stats if you go 1/2 HP? Self sabotage at its finest.
Klutz actually has some fun gimmicks with Switcheroo/Trick if you're holding an item with a negative effect of some kind. That's really its best use, though, and it's super duper gimmicky.
Good thing Sableye has other Abilities, right? I never understood why they made that Ability exclusively for Sableye a gen after the species was introduced, tbh...
Don't forget that Iron houseruled that Truant gives the user an innate +1 Strength (yes, that's the buff he gave it when Slakoth first showed up on Route 4)! Since it and Defeatists' effects triggering are also based on (failed) Loyalty rolls in Pokerole, the abilities aren't quite as bad if you put in the effort to raise the pokemon and get that Loyalty up. It's a lot better than not being able to act every other action or immediately losing Strength, anyways...
Yeah, multi-status infliction in Pokerole kinda makes Lazy have no good uses, other than potentially trying to pull off a Komala and do Choice Banded Sleep Talk shenanigans.
Light/Heavy Metal are just niche since they only affect moves based off of the user/opponent's weight, not really much more that can be said than that.
And then there's the king of all detrimental Abilities: Slow Start. Though that's Plot Deviced, so...
In any case, none of these are really surprising revelations, to be honest, since they haven't really changed much from how they work in the games. And the competitive scene generally agrees that these abilities are bad and have very little reason to be used if you have other options, too.

Yeap, that Politoed's a keeper too! They're a vertiable Status machine, with access to Confusion, Sleep, Paralysis (On a roll), and even Faint, while Rain Dance and Belly Drum are downright terrific set up Moves. Mud Shot, Bubblebeam, and Hyper Voice are also excellent attacks, and the cherry on top of it being able to track down King's Rocks is just wonderful. Welcome to the team, my amphibious amigo!
Not sure what I to name him, though. Since Politoed is a King's Rock Evo like Solomon, I want a name along of his - A king's name, or someone important (preferably if it ends with a -y or -ie sound). Any suggestions, mates?

.....That's not a bad idea, actually, even though I'm halfway sure its a joke suggestion. I'm wondering if the Politoed would take offense to being named after one of (if not the) most infamous man in all of Cheshire's known history, though.......or what other people would think of it, for that matter.

How about Poseidon, king god of the seas and god of earthquakes. Or since its a Ground Pokemon maybe...Bumi I guess? But honestly I have like more Iron suggestion of name. I like the pun of it.

Politoed is a Pure Water type mate! Poseidon is a pretty good name too, though..... @ Dragonstrike , your suggestion?

*Looking at the Pokedex* Oh, sorry! I confused the name with another toad Pokemon, Palpitoad who is Water/Ground. I confuse one name with the other sometimes.

Poseidon sounds pretty good to me, tbh. I don't really have any suggestions of my own since I don't nickname my pokemon very often, tbh. I'd definitely recommend considering what kind of nicknaming scheme Terra has for his pokemon in general, though.

Hmm.....I'll wait for Phantom's and Mika's input on what nickname Poli wolly gets (they deserve to share too!), but so far I'm like the Poseidon name, especially since Terra can shorten it to Posei and keep his naming scheme intact . Sarimanrock, though......hmm.
