[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
I'm going to say that Serene Grace doesn't work on improvised moves. Such moves are never elegant, and mechanically they need to stay strictly worse than actual moves.

Nidorina Round 2

Air Slash 1
(4)(2)(2)(1)(3)(5)
(6)(1)(5) Nidorina takes 2 dmg 4/8hp -2 pain
CD: (5)(5)(3)(6)(2) Nidorina flinches 2
CD: (6) -1 accuracy for Nidorina

Air Slash 2
(4)(1)(1)(6)(4)(5) (3) - added your accuracy back since you have already blinded Nido
(5)(3)(1) Nidorina takes 1 dmg 3/8hp -2 pain
CD: (6)(1)(4)(6)(6) Nidorina flinches 3

"Great, keep up the pressure. You're out-pressuring a Poison type. Very good. One more should drive it away?"

Air Slash 3 held back
(6)(1)(6)(4)(4)(6) Critical
(5)(5)(2)(5)(3) Nidorina takes 2 dmg and flees!

Angela claps politely for you. "Well, I'm going to go watch the Safari Cup now. See if there are any up-and-coming challengers I need to know about. Care to join me?"

Togekiss gains the promised Loyalty and 8XP.

Posei points toward a stream, and Geo nods. "I know a bank of poisonous Pokemon you could drive off in that direction."

Aggro: Unnecessary
Rarity: (3)(2)(2)(4)(4)(4) (3)(5)(3)(1)(4)(4) (3)(1)(6) Politoed seems reallllly excited about this particular King's Rock. His antenna is bobbing up and down FURIOUSLY. It's even glowing.

Geo ignores the excitable Politoed and points to the bank of the stream. It looks like logs and litter often jam up in this portion of the stream, creating a natural dam. Water still trickles through on the other side. The logs are coated in Poison Pokemon clustered like barnacles.

You see a few Skorupi, two Trubbish, tons of Budew and Spinarak, and one strange Corsola in the center holding the entire raft together.

"Oh, Trubbish. Fun fact: that's one of the only Pokemon you can faint here. They're invasive, they wash from Elanor Town. If you knock them out, I'll haul them to the dump where they belong. Now, with these poison Pokemon, two safe held back hits is enough to scatter them for a while, but they are pretty much guaranteed to retaliate. I'll be wayyyyy over here if you need me." He climbs up in a tree and starts watching with binoculars.

What's special about the Scyther is the +1 Dex +1 Survival Surprise. That means it'll almost always have the Initiative, and it's useful with multiple moves in a round, too.

It was worth 10XP.

The klaxon sounds for the Safari Cup! Spectators are allowed to stand around in the area that's been blockaded off for the tournament, or they can watch from upstairs in the Gatehouse.

If you participated in any Safari Shenanigans, you get 2 trainer XP per encounter, so 10XP! Terra, remind me about this at the end of your outfitter's excursion.

Sound off when you've arranged your party the way you want it! Freshly caught Safari Zone mons only! Each ball is scanned by the proctors before you enter. Your Pokedex can also read the specifics of the capture from the Safari Ball's data.

...HAH! Shiva's timidness about challenging a wild and capable Poison Type on her own here in the Safari Zone was melting away upon Nidorina sharply screeching from getting sand in her eyes and beginning to back off even more. It was an unpleasant cry, but to Shiva it was almost like the sweetest angelic melody~ As if Raphael wanted to voice his agreement, he let out a soft and mellifluous chirrup as he accelerated higher into the sky. "Very well done Raphael, that was a great action! See how we taught that Nido to not rely on her natural advantage of poison running through her veins and scales? Just a bit more, let us succeed on this!" Her body language has become much more secure and confident now as Raphael prepares for a final Air Slash. :>

As Nido flees and Raphael softly lands on the ground, Shiva runs up to him to almost sweep him off his little feet in a hug, her expression features a radiating smile now. "We made it, dear one, we indeed made it! Oh thank you for your faith in me, thank you for listening to my commands, just... I'm just so happy that you're staying and traveling on with me, Raphael!!" Raphael acts a bit shy and hesitant but eventually returnes the affection by warmly enwrapping Shiva with his wings, he enjoys it as she pulls him a bit closer to rest her head against his featherly coat. These two have endured a lot together already, had to cope with the leaving of Ventus as Raphael's father in all but blood and Shiva's oddball of a love, but they still had each other. As long as they do, as long as they support each other, there's no room for loneliness - there's nothing Raphael wouldn't do for Shiva now. It's a great feeling.

That dear moment soon ends and gets distracted by Angela clapping and asking whether they're up to join in watching the Safari Cup. Shiva has to think twice about that, but quickly confesses that she would enjoy to accompany Angela for a bit longer. "Y....Yes, gladly I come with you! ^o^ Maybe I can learn something worthy during watching the Cup instead of participating myself." She's also a tad bit curious what kinds of Pokemon she'll see the participants using and how they'll handle freshly-caught ones.

That was a good and fun battle, glad that it worked out well. Accompanying Angela to watch the Cup will hopefully not spent my remaining Last Encounter Slot, will it Iron? I'd guess it'd be like visiting the museum in Cress City; costing time but not an encounter. I wanted to craft things out of the found Spring-Sawsbuck Antlers as a last encounter, that's something Shiva can do once being back in her hostel dorm after the Cup has ended.

Heart gladly take the Pokeball. "Excelent job everyone. The final member of my the team is our now." Heart look in the cell and see the hour to finally begin the Safari Cup. "Guess it is our time to go. Natu, I need you to use your Teleport at least one more time. Lets go to the Safari Cup!"

After the quick Teleport, Heart find a nurse Joy and ask her something. "Could you please take care of the wounds of my Clawitizer and Onix? They get some nasty lethal damage from a group of Gligars, so they need some treatment."

After that Heart make a change in the team, using the Pokemon he have capture:

- Exeggute holding the Miracle Rod.
- Old Kanghaskan holding Silf Scarf
- Teen Kanghaskan holding Razor Claw
- Gligar Holding Leftlovers
- Delta Pikachu holding Poison Barb
- And finally Pidgeotto holding the Lum Berry (since he have 0 Loaylty towards Heart, its better let him hold a less useful item instead of other item. Better be ready than sorry)

After that changes, Heart prepare himself for the competition. He have a great smile on his face, more than ready to begin the battle! "This time, my goal will be the finals. Back in Stair City I was less experience and strong. But now..." Heart look in the tattoos in his arms, still remembering the Bless he received from Jirachi. He close his hand. "...now I more stronger and experience than before. (Literally speaking since Heart have 2 stats in 5 and one in 4). I gonna go to the final if possible. Maybe with a little luck I might able to reach the finals." Heart let D-Pikachu out the Pokeball. "Thats gonna be our first battle Pikachu, so lets do our best."

Heart then aproach and show the Safari Balls with the Pokemon he capture there.

Don't have much time to make a long post, so I'll be brief

- Terra doesntignore Posei , and seem somewhat astonished and befuddled he's getting work up over the Kings Rock he found , but hes none of the less impressed and congratulates them for their find. If it's possible, Terra would also let them hold on to it for the time being, since they mseemed to like it so much, so long as he's careful with it.

- His choice to fight the mob of Poison types + *Corsola will be Possible and Mawile, but before that he attempt to Intimidate all but the Trubbish and Corsola into scramming, with Mawile helping him out with her natural Intimidate. If it's possible, Posei can also use Swagger on Terra in order to make him stronger/more Intimidating; in that case, Terra has a Persomn Berry ready to  cure his Confusion. I'm also wondering if Swagger buff on Terra would carry over to his Pokemon, but that is not important right then.

- If they don't listen, Posei will use Hyper Voice on the swarm 3 times while Mawile is told to go wild on the Trubbish (She does what she wants). Terra is interested in nabbing that *Corsola, though, so he is going to try to catch it once they get to - 2 Pain , or if it attempts to flee. If it tires t get gone via the drink, he'll send in Posei to chase/Grapple i the first chance he can get, after he finishes his orders for the Round.

That is all ,for now, at least!

Precisely. The Cup takes all day but doesn't drain your energy to watch. And the antlers don't require daylight or even all that much physical energy.

- You don't actually have the King's Rock yet as it's in the stream guarded by the poison types.

-You know full well a Swagger buff won't carry over to your Pokemon. Although trainer confusion could cause some problems...
I think using Swagger on a trainer would actually make that trainer more intimidating, but in this case the raft of dumb poison types isn't going to have a chance of being intimidated.

-I'll get to those orders after dinner.
