[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

It's not time for a Will point yet because you've been very active and not resting.

I also forgot to roll Static on that one Outrage. (1)(2)(2)

CD: (6) Kanga was paralyzed! That changes the initiative order, unfortunately for Heart!

+2 Str for Beedrill!

I'm assuming you meant your next Pokemon if Beedrill faints, or do you want to give up the +2 Str in exchange for Yanma?

Really?  Another 5 Strength character, and Parasect didn't manage to inflict any damage at all?  Aye yi yi...well, on the bright side, at least Delta Parasect's Leftovers restores 1 HP.  It's now at 4/8 HP again.

----------------------------------

Nathan sighs after that Round.  "...ya know, Parasect, Rage Powder works a lot better when you're facing more than one opponent...and waiting to evade tends to work better when you're moving more quickly than your opponent...just some advice."

He considers something for a moment as he fiddles with one of the Safari Balls.  Should he do this, or that?  Delta-Parasect's taken some heavy hits, but it could still deal some in return or attempt to cause some more shenanigans...he knew he was playing at a disadvantage using such a potentially disobedient pokemon, but he hadn't quite thought it would go like that...well, at least he knows that D-Parasect is more than happy to spread statuses without complaint, at least...

He then tightly grips the Safari Ball, seemingly having come to a decision, and points it at Delta Parasect.  "...alright, I'm pulling you outta there for now, Parasect.  Take a breather, but I'd recommend thinking a little about how to improve your strategies, alright?  I might need to send ya back in."

A moment later, Doduo C has made his appearance on the battlefield and taken the glowing mushroom pokemon's place!  Nathan's chosen his second pokemon for the battle earlier than he would have liked, but if he can play this correctly, it'll probably be less risky than leaving Delta Parasect in to take even more damage against a foe it can't sufficiently cripple to get it a little time to recover...

Heart sights and then return Kangaskhan. "Well, this kinda make me regret to promise you in return to the Safari Zone after you disobey me. But I guess there is nothing to do it." Heart return Kanghaskan and bring to the battlefield D-Pikachu. "I got bad luck since even having a tough Pokemon she disobey my orders (along with the dice screwing my rolls). Lets see how your Pikachu handle mine."

4 and 5 Str characters are the norm in the Safari Cup! It tends to attract athletes.

Oo, a bit of a mirror match! Delta Pikachu may have the advantage given his dual types.

Btw, Delta Pokemon are rare enough even in the Safari Zone to draw a crowd. That Delta Parasect is something of a legend recently.

DPikachu: (4) + 8 = 12
Regular Pikachu was 11

The Gentleman sends out a Lairon.

Initiative: (1) and it also has a -1 initiative penalty lol.

It looks like the Gentleman might struggle just a little to control this mon.

Awesome!  Doduo C is pulling his weight!  And yes, he is a dark necked male since Juliet used Attract on him.  Doduo B is a lighter necked female for the opposite reason.  If the crowd and competitors are paying attention, they would notice they're two different Doduo, and thus might have different movesets!  Doduo A's gender has yet to be finalized, so it could possibly be mistaken for either of the other two. Or if someone wasn't paying attention, they might not have noticed the gender difference and not be sure what to expect from the mostly flightless bird in question if they know some of the moves that Nathan's Doduo have been using.

Doduo C is staying out to take advantage of that +1 Strength and super high Initiative roll!

-----------------------

Gallade chuckles when Nathan's second Doduo makes the battle a little more even again.  He knew it was coming, but that doesn't make it any less funny to watch.  He was kinda wondering why Nathan chose to start with the disobedient Delta Parasect, but it's nice to see that his best friend is making up for it just fine.  He doesn't really mind the crowd that's gathering to watch, either.  He's proud to be Nathan's pokemon, and he's glad to see the young man get some more time to shine.  Whether anyone can figure that out about the Gallade intently watching Nathan's battles is another matter entirely though, obviously.

Also, on the note of Delta Parasect and Pikachu...I'm surprised Shiva hasn't reacted to those making an appearance yet...particularly since the crowds are reacting noticeably.  Is a reaction coming soon, @PhantomUnderYourDesk?
