Shinx looks a little grumpy about being recalled after doing so well, but he doesn't complain (much).  He at least got to show off what he can do.

Nathan, meanwhile, just nods at Gallade (who promptly takes a battle ready stance, blades extended), then smiles at Spira.  "Well, if you're going to use one of your strongest pokemon against me in our first battle, it's only courteous of us to do the same, isn't it?  I might not be fighting with my best, but that doesn't mean we won't be trying to win!"

Taking a bit of time to type up Shiva's activities real quick: Bascially, after having had selfmade breakfast while watching the weather forecast and her daily horoscope, she'll go out and seek a place within Teazel Valley where she'll be left alone by curious citizans and unkind wild Pokemon - means, nowhere within the Safari Zone - but instead being surrounded with nature and from which she can feel the wind running through her long hair and Cottonee's fluff. There she takes a seat beneath a big tree facing the rising sun to start the day with a peaceful activity: Drawing the birch bark she has gathered within the Zone some other day, she'll create a neat small basket out of it. One like these pretty ones:


It needs a knife to make these as I read in this great tutorial, so no simultaneous training for her Pokemon. All of them are out of their Balls however, enjoying the morning and her Master's company. Her fairies and Gloom(!) are handed the precious Ethereal Ribbon to get familiar with it, as well as to get more used to the presence of a friendly partial Poison Type. Shiva's confident that they'll get along quickly once realizing that Gloom won't do anything to them and is a team member like they are.

If a roll is needed, it's still 15d6 (6*Insight + 3 Knowledge or 3 Survival in this case + 4 Crafting + 2 Helping Hand from Azu). The finished basket will be cushioned a bit with Cottonee's cotton and pretty leaves and then presented to Purrloin - "That's a gift for you, meant as your very own sleeping place!~ I made it myself." ^//^

If a roll is needed, it's still 15d6 (6*Insight + 3 Knowledge or 3 Survival in this case + 4 Crafting + 2 Helping Hand from Azu). The finished basket will be cushioned a bit with Cottonee's cotton and pretty leaves and then presented to Purrloin - "That's a gift for you, meant as your very own sleeping place!~ I made it myself." ^//^

That's a great idea for one of those baskets. Purrloin gains 1 Happiness.

It is now Day 74 for Terra, Shiva, and Heart. Safari Zone takes a long time so it's worth getting to our third day of that while the PVP battle concludes.

Nathan can also flashforward to Encounter 3 if he wants.

Heart strech his arms and open the windows of his room. "Nghaa...What a wonderfull rest. I feel revigorated. After so many battles, its good to have a good rest."

While he was doing some exercise, Heart make a quick a look in Moltres Egg. "Damn. I forgot to make the pyre to you." Heart summon Meowth, Alphonse, Iron and Ambipom. "Guys, we need to do something quick. Lets go outside pretty quick to make a big pyre to this Egg!" Heart also make a quick change on his team to put Larvesta. "Larvesta, hold that Egg warm for a while please. Its might be cold so heat him as much you can!"

Heart also check the Beldum Egg to see how he is doing since he was carrying him for quite a lot of time.

Gallade stands firm even as Toya's shadowy fists slam into him repeatedly.  He crosses his arms defensively as that last one lands and phases right through him.  Hrrrrggggg....

The Draining Kisses that he blows in Toya's direction before slamming the Ghost/Fighting type with his own powerful blows hurt just as much, though, and even help him remain on his feet.  He.  Will.  Not.  Fall.  Easily.

And so it is that Gallade stands victorious over this foe.  A little battered and bruised, maybe, but he is not afraid of Ghost types in the slightest.  He has all the tools he needs to fight them on even footing.

Once Toya's been removed from the battle, Gallade gives Toya a courteous and respectful bow.  Well fought.  Then he returns to his battle ready stance, blades drawn, awaiting the next challenger...

He could definitely get used to fighting in this stance with his bladed elbows extended, his movements fluid and almost dance-like at times.

Out comes Hida. (6) + 6 = 12, Gallade is still first.
