The crates are nailed shut. A strong Pokemon or a human with a lever could get them open, but it could take a bit of time.

Ah. Shiva believes that Azu will have an easy time opening the crates containing 'umbrellas' with her Huge Power and a well-placed Rock Smash, but as she looks at the blue fae-rabbit's Pokeball, she gently shakes her head. She'd rather not try that, it'd probably take too long and may cause to much telling noise. That, and she doesn't have ways to shut the crate properly afterwards, which will easily reveal that someone tempered with 'em!

Damn, that means Shiva's curiosity about why umbrellas are stored here remains unsatisfied for now. She COULD ask a Ghost from Spira to phase through the crate and take a look for her at the content/even retrive one, but she'd guess that's a bit too much to ask for. Rather concentrate on what they're here for, probably

Gothitelle nods - Magic Room should shut down the apparatus temporarily. It won't affect the operations room, though, so a human watcher or an automatic crash detection program could still notice.

Porygon can travel through the camera if it's wired into any systems. He'll have to deal with whatever defenses the system has.

Naturally Shiva cannot know whether anyone observes the screens at the momient or whether a crash detection program could all silently set off the alarm, but she thinks the plan involving Luna and Lilith would be the safest way to get past that nasty camera. She gives a thankful glance to Lilith and asks her to keep herself ready.

"Alright, ehm...", she adresses the others with a hurried voice, "Let's combine both to progress, shall we? Means, Heart, Spira, Luna and Honedge will sneak as close to that camera as possible, trying to figure out any blindspots it may have for us to exploit. Then when they give us a sign, Lilith here will cast a Magic Room to shut if off for just a few seconds, in that time frame we make our way past it as fast as we can. ...Okay? I'm ready to try that, we've lingered here and discussed for long enough." She tries to appear confident as she summarizes all that, hopes that it'll work smoothy.

"I'll have Porygon-Z at the ready as backup, just in case.  Be ready to use Magic Room ASAP if that camera is about to spot any of us, though."

And that's all Nathan needs to say on the matter.  Heart's compromise was a good idea, and it's definitely time to take action.

Heart show a positive finger. He summon Honedge and give him the orders Shiva have mentioned. "Honedge, use your Shadow Sneak to hide in the shadows along with Luna to sneak that camera and find any kind of blind spots for us to use. When you two find it send to us a signal and Shiva will make her pokemon use Magic Room to disable those cameras for a few seconds. This plan need to work with both of your help. Understood Honedge?"

Honedge Sneaks forward with Luna, each using their abilities as required. As promised, Honedge is obedient when it comes to this possibly life-or-death situation.

It's pretty difficult to sneak past this camera, because it ends up rotating with some frequency. The rotation part does seem to be on a schedule - it's possible to time it just right, even for a human. Easy peasy for a Ghost Pokemon!

Magic Room goes off, and disables the cameras. You also hear a soft "k-chunk!" from the three labeled crates - no other crates make that sound.

The party runs forward while the camera is disabled, and no alarm sounds! Magic Room did the trick.

You arrive at an elevator next to a staircase. Both are protected by palm-scanners and thick glass doors. (Palm-scanners are considered automated, so Magic Room won't disable their protective function.)

You can see that the stairs ONLY go up. There's no way to tell where the elevator can go, since the buttons are on the side you can't see.

No sign of any guards, but Gallade senses some upstairs.

"...I think we might need to check out those crates a little more carefully.  If they have mechanisms in them, they're unlikely to be just ordinary crates.  We already know the Scimitar base's entrance is hidden.  The only question is how to find the way in..."

Nathan looks at the camera again.

"...Porygon-Z might have to hack the camera, though."

Shiva's very glad and relieved that Honedge does indeed obey the commands and fulfilles its given task to perfection, and Lilith naturally receives her praise for the aid. She stays out of her Ball for now as company.

Ohhh, protected by palm scanners... A twitch runs through the natural fae enthusiast's hand, but she doesn't do more than observe the elevator and glass doors closely. It doesn't make sense to her at all that the elevator can solely go up, same with the stairs, that's just...highly weird and suspicious. If Almanac wants to make lots of money, they perhaps wouldn't have invested into such useless ways of transport into their base. Like, where's the necessarity of a one-way elevator? There must be something about it that she misses, so she decides to take a closer look at the elevator and staircase, she doesn't touch anything though. Her Pokemon aid, she lets Yena sniff them for example.

Her curiosity towards these crates increases even more, and in sync with Spira she snaps her head towards them. "You're right, something about them is ....strange." A wide and interested smile forms on her expression as she emphasizes 'strange', her curiosity is vividly awake. "Come on, we'll check them out... If there's something, likely even Uncle Oscar and possibly Keni downstairs form here, there must be an entrance nearby, the Scimitars HAVE to get down as well in some way, maybe even from this basement? It's just....how."

Do the crates make a sound as well when Magic Room wears off a few seconds later? She desires to get back to the labeled crates either way for further checking, means past the camera again. It could be risky to pull off the same trick again, so now could be a good time for Porygon-Z to disable the security cam for a bit of a longer time frame indeed.
