With that, Spira hears footsteps, he turns and sees Heart and Nathan, "Shiva disappeared, she pushed this box and vanished," Spira points at the SPIGOTS crate, "There's no hole that she could've fallen in, this is rather worrisome." He's a little frenetic when he says this.

Nathan takes one look at the room, the sparking machinery along the metallic wall, and how Spira and Yena look like they've both taken a few blows.  Nathan definitely looks visibly concerned as well (as do Calam and Gallade).  "...a crate labeled SPIGOTS...I take it other crates in this room had labels as well, then?  And that machinery over there is what was guarding the place?"

Nathan turns to Gallade as well.

"...can you sense Shiva anywhere nearby, buddy?  She has to be in this building somewhere."

"The other two notable labels were 'DELIVERY' and 'UTENSILS (ALMANAC)', that contraption on the wall was a defense mechanism of some sort with five different Scimitar gauntlets shooting energy." He decides against showing the Mega Stone right now, more important stuff to deal with.

The crate Spira indicates is still clearly out of position on its little mechanism, like the crates above guarding the staircases. (Do you close the ALMANAC staircase, btw?)

Yes, Nathan would have closed the ALMANAC staircase.  He can probably pull it off again without alerting anyone.  I hope. Heck, if Calam pushes it (and he totally could since Gallade and Absol have the same potential Strength values), he can do it even more quietly than Gallade can thanks to his +1 Dex and Survival Surprises giving him a total of 15 Dice for Stealth checks! That's a lot!

"...S...for Scimitar, I guess?  If that's the case, though, and Shiva's no longer in this building..."

"...then she might be in trouble if pushing that box back doesn't bring her back.  Someone should probably follow her in that case, and take Yena and Azu with them.  My uncle and possibly Keni are further down, though...I think there's a chance we might have to split up from here."

"...I don't think THIS is a case of kidnapping, Heart.  Not yet, anyways...that's why someone might need to follow her, though: to make sure she's safe.  If she hasn't texted any of us by now, then something might have gone wrong...whoever goes needs to be prepared.  We don't know if there's any way back from wherever that box took Shiva, either.  If she's safe and there isn't a way back, though, you can just use the Cress City Card she has to get out of there immediately."

Nathan finds it kinda hard to believe himself.  If it does mean what he thinks it does, then how would Almanac and the Scims have...?

(I'd say straight up what Nathan's thinking right now, but I also kinda wanna see how Spira and Heart react to that, so...)
