[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

Gotcha! I have my eyes on the newborn, so you can have your pick between the other two. If Nathan can give Terra about $3000-5000 Poke and/or permission to teach Howl's Pokemon ROCK SMASH, then I can most likely manage to get a deal for buying more than one, but even if not I can probably manage something. Heck, having more than one Zoura around would probably only help my chara's plans, especially if he has his friends backing him up, so let's get those cute fluffy foxes ASAP!

Heart could always opt to leave the Egg in the Sacred Grove with Primal Lurantis for the time being. Might be hesitant about doing that, given that a Moltres is basically her bane and the requirement for FIRES to live, but something could be worked out I imagine. Alternatively, just ask Lurantis and/or shop around Elanor for a boatload of sacred herbs/woods to store away that he'd effectively have an infinite amount on hand, so that a pyre could be built at all times, no matter the local. Might scare of the baddies lurking in the Skull Ruins, even, but then again it might only attract the attention of the biggest and baddest among them too....

Nathan's got about $4k on hand atm after the cash he got from beating Howl.  ROCK SMASH is fine (with me. might want to ask everyone else first too) as a partial bargaining chip since Howl knows we have access to the move now and it would probably be useful for him (and there's no obvious reasons to distrust Howl either. He can definitely keep a secret). I am kinda eyeing the expensive Zorua, tbh. Those surprises are tempting, even with the slight disobedience. That little fox could probably give Calam a run for his money.

Primal Lurantis would probably prefer if Primal Arcanine were keeping watch of the egg if something like that were to be done, given that's the Legendary dog Pokemon's job.  The problem: he's probably hidden away somewhere in/around Mt. Molten in the present day if I had to guess.  Maybe P-Lurantis could help with the sacred plants, though?  That sounds like a pretty good idea to me.

Well, I would like to have the one 16k but I don't want to Terra lost so much money since he will need too the money.

About Moltres Egg...I think I will keep with me. I am having this feeling in my gut that it might be necessary in our journey. I will keep him with but I will ask Lurantis for some herbs.

This is unfortunately not correct. ( ._.) You're underestimating heavily how much it would have meant to Shiva to receive a tad bit of expressed thankfulness, something that isn't to be taken for granted ever. Now it's too late. She is raised to act polite and compassionate, and this is part of it, maybe someone has seen how often she actually says stuff like 'Thank you for xy' to NPCs and Pokemon.

Please try to not be sure about other chara's way, okay? I'm not so fond of this.

So everyone.....you want a Zoura, or some other Dark type? Terra's dealing with Howl now, so he can get it for you if you want, and we can settle the score about it much later.

While I'd enjoy having an exemplar, it doesn't feel worth for me to give so much money for a Pokemon I can't see myself bringing up enough time and effort to train and bond with properly, so I kindly deny your offer. I rather have a small number of very well-trained and very close Pokemon than a lot of casual 'Mon that I don't know when to use or interact with, that's more fun for me.

That, and a potential Zorua under Terra's care is actually a nice way to try have Shiva and Terra share a bit of more time together, me feels they are drifting apart more and more as things progress, which is...somewhat saddening to me. I wish for more meaningful interactions like the Sunstone Mine Trip between these two! >o< There's that Espeon you wanted to give her, we can go forage useful plants together, stuff like that, I'd be happy to rp all of this out a bit, but we have to actually get to it when there's enough time in- and outta-chara.

I said 'sometimes', and I wasn't just referring to Shiva.  Not every character is going to think to say thank you for every little thing someone does for them for any variety of reasons.

I'm still sure any one nice character will verbally express it if the topic is brought up though.  It's only too late if you don't speak up about it and try to make a positive impact.

And this is definitely less clear, but I'm saying thank you for that right now OOC. So yeah.

Just to be extra sure and clear, is everyone alright with Howl having access to ROCK SMASH? I assume its not going to be a problem, since no one has commented against the idea otherwise by this point, but you know what they say 'Measure twice, cut once.' And how much Poke is Nathan willing to stump up for his Zoura, Dragonstrike?
