Hmmmm...I don't think he helped with the Blocking spells the Scims used to confine Keni, if that's what you're thinking.  The ones used to trap Keni were a lot more...permanent and non-damaging than Wrap and the like.  They were more based on Spider Web and Mean Look and Block and such, I believe.

And it was probably the Scimitar Leaders and Admins who did that rather than the Grunts.

Well things are a little... weird between Spira and Elya already, weren't expecting a complete meshing, but Noire is definitely gonna keep a Mean Look on the Scimitar

Let her keep that Mean Look on every Scim, I don't really trust 'em.

I'll go to bed now, I hope that by the time I'm up again everyone has choosen their partner so that we can eventually start venturing down the Ruins. Hyped!~ ^^

So Grim is fully utilitarian and pragmatic with everyone, but seems to have a soft spot for Pokemon and doing the right thing, while Kelda is more heroic but very much adheres to the Scimitar philosophy of 'Pokemon last, human and self improvement first', even if that makes her feel terribly guilty about it.

If it were my choice, I'd take Grim. I rather have someone that is fairly stable/firm/certain in his morals/beliefs but may occasionally do Good Things despite that, than a lass that seems to be waffling on whether to be Lawful or Good. That's just me opinion, though, so disregard it if you like!

Also, I think Terra still has all the Guantlets/Scimitar Tech he looted from the Scims of yesteryear, or at least some of it, so if Shiva wants to actually learn how to be a wizard, then he can hook her up and the Scims can teach her, if they are amenable to such an arrangement. Not sure if that's the best idea, though, for multiple reasons....

EDIT: Yeap, Terra still has precisely one complete Scimitar Guantlet (which would naturally include everything needed to set up and use it). Evidence: https://pokemonuranium.co/forum/showthre...6#pid56846

Gendry also seems a good person. Maybe. Me and Heart dont trust in any of those Scimitars, including this Gendry guy. It could be just a façade to make us drop our guards and attack us behind our backs. But I will not say that IC in the Game Thread, because enough chaos and tension was already made. No need to make things worse.

The thing is, Scims are kinda...conditioned to have that kinda 'pokemon's feelings last' mindset from what I understand.  So there's only so much stock I can put in those comments from the grunts, tbh. It's less the statements themselves that I'm looking at and more how they say them.

In any case, given Nathan's character...that's influenced his decision quite a lot.

You choose Kelda, essentially because of her uncertainty makes her all the more vulnerable for course correction, conflicting points to her world view, and general outside influence? NICE! I never knew Nathan could be so manipulative and predatory, but that just makes his ploy all the more brilliantly awesome! Keep up that line of thinking, and you'll beat the Scimitars at their own game, a most deliciously ironic outcome for those bastards!
