Well, they earned the name because of the Unown that spell out the word Kadabra, not because of...that.

...though that's probably why the Unown are spelling that word in the first place...

I'll wait until Iron responds to Nathan's inquires before I do anything else with Terra. Right now, though, I'm/he is leaning towards just asking Cosh to carefully smash the Capture Net surrounding Angie to free her, if he/the others can't think of anyway else to release her from its grasp. He'll also secretly summon Oinari and ask her to use Illusion to 'transform' into a Kadabra', and then stand beside him/Solomon as added protection/see if that ellicits any reaction from the inhabitants bellow. How does all that sound so far, mates?

Heart intense flames along with Rose might help melt those Webs. And since Angie is dragon type she can resist the fire. Thoughs people?

If we're going to destroy the webs, well...I expect that the Kadabra won't be happy about that.  And we also don't know what destroying the webs might do to those they captured (if anything).

So if we DO end up taking that route...I'd suggest testing it on one of the other capture webs first.  Even as loathe as Nathan would be to suggest something like that himself or agree with such a course of action IC...

If we're going to destroy the webs, well...I expect that the Kadabra won't be happy about that.  And we also don't know what destroying the webs might do to those they captured (if anything).

Yeap, probably. Terra isn't in exactly the right mood or frame of mind to care about that, though. His baby girl was just 'kidnapped' right before his eyes, and he wants her back, no matter what has to be done to do that. Simple as that.

Huh....great idea! I'll have my chara ask Cosh to do that , as I have stated before he is not concerned with how right such an action is, only if said actions will help get Angie back. My chara would be run entirely over Nathan and just shut him down if they object to that plan too (Unless they have a viable alternative to that), so all culpability would fall on me/Terra, and leave them guilt free/with the moral high ground. Sound good?

Should probably wait to see if Nathan can identify any of these Kadabra in any capacity before we try that, though...while it's unlikely that Marco and his pokemon are caught in those webs after 3 years, ya never know what exactly you might be messing with in situations like these...

For starters, trying to see if any of the ones looking at Nathan have any kind of hint of recognition.  Gallade can probably help with that even though he's never met Marco and his pokemon before. (Nathan might even try to purposely get some of them to look at him by dropping something down there to get their attention)

Observing them to see how they act, see if any of those actions might be similar to someone Nathan knows.

Looking for ones that look oddly similar to Nathan or one of Marco's pokemon (if that's discernible at all), or maybe ones that are wearing/holding suspicously familiar clothing/items.

Stuff like that.  Just generally looking for any kind of tells that spark some kind of familiarity from either Nathan or the Kadabra.

Obviously, there's no guarantees it will work, but it's probably one of the only effective methods we have at the moment to look for Marco and his pokemon if they are among the Kadabra (at least until we definitely find at least one of them and get their help in finding the others if necessary).

Welp, trying to identify and differentiate the Kadabra based on any humanity in them was a bust, unhappy as I am to say this. Either that means Marco is down there, but practically dead in a metaphorical sense, or he/his Pokemon are not among the spoon wielding lot down in that chamber. Iron and other characters did allude to the fact their were more than just one of those mystical mires, so pops could be trapped/Kadabraed in one of them.

Do I have your okay that Terra starts smashing the other containee's Capture Nets up now? Or do you have any other ideas you want to share/try out?
