[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
That's thinking outside the box! Meditite, Musharna, Mr. Mime, and Beldum agree immediately and vanish into your Pokeballs, whereupon they blink away to the Box.

Hypno and Medicham are still suspicious of you.

Empathy: (4)(1)(4)(4)(2)(5) = 4 success
Hypno: (2)(4)(2)(5)(5)(6) = 4 success
Medicham: (4)(1)(5)(5) (2)(2)(2)(2) = 3 success

These two quietly make you reiterate your promise to free them again when you return - they ask for an item they can hold to force you to keep it.

What items will you give them, and do you push the button when done?

"I understand why you are suspicious. But you have my word as a ArcHeart you will be free."

Heart search his bag and give Medicham and Hypno two items. "This is a rare Luck Egg Medicham. A extremely rare item who make a Pokemon grown even more. This is a symbol of my promise to you to hold. And for you Hypno...this is a monocle who can only be used to your species. It enable the ability in detect lies of others. You can use it now to see the sincerely of my soul if you want. You two can hold these two items for now but please return then when we meet again...they important to me and they are gift from a important friend."

And yes, when finished I push the button (with all cautious in the world with Rose and Doublade ready to dangers).

Medicham and Hypno accept your generous collateral and disappear.

Doublade pokes the button with a charge of electricity from Gendry, and there's a blast of light. A Chandelure bursts from the Capture Web, not a Luxray at all! The Kadabra growl and pivot to face the Ghost-type intruder.

On the other side of the cavern, though, the team of Arachnautilus and Cosh have navigated the Unown and traps with haunted looks on their faces. Cosh zaps the button with his sparking Gauntlet, and the Luxray of Marco Warren appears! It bounds toward Nathan, scattering Kadabra like they aren't even there, and licks Nathan's face like it hasn't done since he was a toddler. (Ouch!) Then it collects itself and regains its normal very serious mien.

Marco's Luxray is trained for riding and Oversized enough to accommodate an adult human. Skarmory has Fly. Both seem fighting fit despite their long imprisonment. The Chandelure looks like it'll be forced to fight Kadabra before it can be hostile toward you at all. Marco's two Pokemon seem very ready for action, and very very very happy to be free. (4XP to Nathan). There'll be time for happy reunions later.

Then Slowpoke looks up, makes eye contact with Heart, and agrees not to make any noise if Heart lets it out of the cage.

Can I use a Pokeball to send Slowpoke to my PC for now for safety? And that Chandelure or the Kadabra come to attack me and Gendry?
Also, if I remember I have full healed Gustav, so can I bring him to the battlefield and return Rose in case Chandelure attack us?

(So Cosh and Arachnautilus didn't get the 'Feraligatr' button?)

Okay, three down, three to go!  Meowstic could probably be in better shape, but Skarmory and Luxray by themselves are already a huge boon since they're the two pokemon Marco Warren is most well known for.  Nathan has a theory that it's part of the reason why the Shinx line and Skarmory are so popular in Creshire these days in the first place!

But aside from that, Nathan's definitely happy to see all three of them again after so long!  He doesn't even mind how rough Luxray's tongue is!  And he's definitely more than ready to fight alongside them so they can free the rest of his dad's pokemon as well as find the missing trainer himself!

It doesn't matter that backing out isn't much of an option right now since none of Marco's pokemon are not currently registered to pokeballs. Together, they can do this.  It doesn't matter what they may face. They're not going to let anyone or anything get in the way of their goals now!

So, are Light Screen and Reflect in effect on Nathan's side of the battlefield since Meowstic and Solosis were ready to use them once Skarmory was freed and attracting attention?

Oh before I forget, that's another (2 if the Kadabra 'encounter' counts) survival+lore roll for Luna (5d6, currently holding 7/16 spirits required)

After waiting a tick, you send Slowpoke back to the PC too with another Pokeball.

Reflect and Light Screen are indeed in effect. Feraligatr isn't released yet, but most of those traps are disarmed 'cause Arachnautilus rolled well. She doesn't have any electricity.

Survival + Lore:
(3)(4)(6)(5)(1)
(5)(3)(3)(1)(5)

There's another 5 spirits!

The group is definitely starting to get tired now (should have been tired last encounter, for some of you). There aren't as many Kadabra in this chamber and you have a lot of help in various forms - do you plan to fight or to escape or something else?

If it comes to fighting the Kadabra, Nathan's got Charizard and Calams' pokeballs ready to throw.  Having both crowd control in Heat Wave and an anti-Psychic pokemon with access to FLASH seems like a good idea.

Heart was satisfied and prepare himself for a fight, summoning Quetzel and Doublade to both multiple attack and great defenses!

Spira is ragged from the Sigilyph fight, Hida and Nubi are a little worse for the wear but still ready to fight. He then addresses Elya, "Do ya happen to have any revives or reviving spells that I can use on Toya and Noire?"
