[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
We got Marco! Or at least, so it seems. Always possible that there could be a human named Marc instead of Marco, but given the significance that Iron gave to that name......not likely to be a fake out. At least I hope so!

Magic Guard is probably the other big clue, given that exactly one Kadabra seems to have it.

That's a pretty dang hard thing to test for if they're unconscious, we're not catching them, and we don't currently have any ability copying/swapping shenanigans to abuse, though.

Potential Ways to De-Transform Marco (If that Kadabra is him):

1. Remove him from the Kadabra Chambers, and see if that undos the process. quickly or slowly. Probablity: Unknown, but most likely low.
2. Determine if the transformation is some form of applied Pokemon Move/Earthpower on them, and then find a way to dispel it. Probability: Medium, but what do we have that can do that...?
3. Red Chain up Merspirt, and have them find a way to undo Kadabra Transformations. Probability: ???, but it burns the group's Get Out Of Jail Free Card for the Legend, which could come more in hand against the dangers deep in the Skull Ruins, and definately against Deoxys. Don't really want to use it for Marco unless its the only possible way to restore his humanity.
4. Try a Pokeball, and see if that does anything? Probability: Low, and might perma Kadabra him. Not worth the risk, imo
5. Adamant Sphere it up, and see if its possible to channel some form of Earthpower in it to 'reverse' the flow of time on them, and ergo reverse the Transformation process? Probablity: Likely Low, given that it's been confirmed that the AS has reduced power in the Modern Era. Still, Heart/Nathan might be able to do something with it in the KCs, where Time is wacky tacky and rules are different.

That's all the ideas I have for now. Anyone brainstormed anymore?

If it's Earthpower based, someone with 5 or more Earthpower can remove curses and blessings.  Heart's the closest to being able to do that.

Role Play:
Ditto could potentially transform into of three pokemon from memory; Stantler, Delphox, and Greninja, with Delphox being the most likeliest of the three (especially if it's been shown Shiva's Delphox) (Dex+Fight+Perform, a 10D6 pool for Spira); or, if she knows it, Marco's Meowstic could use the move.

Trace:
Ditto transforming into a Porygon/Porygon2/Ralts/Kirlia that has Trace
Those are the options that immediately come to my mind.

Fair enough.  Not really necessary now, though.

Just to test it, Shiva would nudge one of the tied and fainted Kadabra that are not dad with a normal Pokeball, if her guess is correct, it should be sucked into the Ball all normally.

Iron said awhile back that just smashing a Pokeball won't count as Releasing them (At least OTwise), but then again if a person does smash a Pokemon's Pokeball when they have seven or more on his team, does that mean the 'Captured' Pokemon stays with the Trainer, or does the system just force the Trainer to send back one of their Balled Pokemon instead to enforce the 6 Pokemon Limit? If its the later, the only way to bypass the party size limit and capture Pokemon is to smash all a Trainer's Pokeballs and then subsequently smash each Pokemon they catch, which prevents the Trainer from safely recalling their Pokemon for healing inside their balls or navigating in tight quarters, and that's only if the capture system can't transport an unBalled Pokemon without their Pokeball.

Then then again, it may be possible to use the Capture Net shenanigans of the KCs to promptly release Marco after he's Evolved into a Alakazam, if the group can figure out how to trigger them themselves without getting caught in them AND he regains his memories/some of the and is docile/cooperative, since they de-regsiter any Pokemon caught in them from the Trainer's ID/Possession.

So....we have three options: Capture Marco and Evolve Him Then Switch a Pokemon Out For Them (or have Terra be the one to catch him, since he has a open slot now), Don't and keep him under lockdown, or the first option but attempting shenanigans to keep him in the Ruins without sacrificing a party slot.

Which one will it be?

Huh.  The capture net idea isn't bad if we can't release 'em on the spot.

Probably rather unpleasant, though.

Triggering it would be as easy as the pokemon just walking into it (or being pushed into it), however.  And we already know how to release trapped pokemon from them.

Alright! With your/your chara's permission (Since Marco is Nathan's father), I could have Terra capture Marco, make a quick trade between our chara's Pokemon (With Solomon most likely, since they're smart enough to understand why the Trade is taking place and not lose Loyalty), shove Marco through the Capture Net to de-register him from the Ball (if he's unconsicous after being Evolved), then release him from that and revive with a Hurtloam (Terra has one) and see if he's regained his old self's memories. If you can't Evolve a Fainted Pokemon, then Hurtloam them first before the trade. In that case, if they have their memories after being Alakazamed, then they can consent to being Captured Net Released, and if not, they stay in the Ball until we find a way to restore their humanity, however much we can in whatever way we find.

That sound good to you?
