Ghosts allover!~ I somewhat enjoy sharing battles with Spira, but that Ratsy catches my interest - but maybe sharing that Encounter with @Lord Windos would be an idea? That Gigalith Horde seems too tough and dangerous unless you're really bold and riskloving, dear. Up to you in the end.

You know my stance on sharing Encounters, so I rather not do that unless its a pretty hard one that would pay out well regardless of how many joined in. Since Ratsy is an Easy Encounter, I believe you/Shiva can handle it fine on your own or with Miss Prickly.

@Spiritmon, @Mikaruge108 , your opinions on the Gigalith Encounter? Should I take it, or leave it?

The other thing to keep in mind regarding Difficulty is the cap.

Something with a cap of 1 is designed for only one person to take, but should also be doable for them.

Something with a cap of 'none', however...well, given that any number of players can take it on, you can imagine how much more difficult it might seem if only 1 or 2 people take it.

So don't let Tough Difficulty deter you from Encounters, if you want to give one a go!

I'm definitely interested in taking on a tough Encounter at some point if @Iron could cook up one or two more of these. (hinthint)

Oh right, forgot that you're usually not very up to share Encounters. Humm, in that case I'd go for it and take the Gigalith Horde, but attempt to defeat them fast with SE-moves in an hope to minimize any damage they can deal to you and Terra.

Huh, I just remembered some important things: Solomon has FLASH and Yawn, and Posei has Hyponsis and Rain Dance. If I send them out with Michael, I could just put FLASH those blighters and put them all to Sleep, and have Cosh help crush the ones that are still awake! That would make things MUCH easier, for as we all know, Spore is Spore, and Spore is the best, so much so that it even mandated a rules update from Iron! If Posei's out, then Hyponsis could also work reasonably well, and if their's enough moisture in the air (IE: Is there, Iron), it could entirely cancel out Sand Stream! Those Gigies don't have any natural sleep canceling Moves/Abilities, and they would have to waste actions to reset Sand if they have the Move, so they shouldn't have any Defense towards either tactic!

With that in mind, so you think it would still be a bad idea to take the Gigies on, Dragonstrike?

I think what Phantom meant was you/Terra sharing the Ghosts galore Encounter with Spira. (at least, that's how I read it.)
As for the Gigalith Encounter, its ultimately up to you as to whether or not to do it, but I'd personally consider it with the potential xp output

Oh. Still, I prefer to do an Encounter on my own in that case, as I reap higher rewards without having to divide them up between multiple players (including XP) and doing them solo causes them to be completed MUCH more swiftly. Sorry mates, but that's the way I am!

Keep in mind that Sand Stream was also an Ability introduced to Gigalith in Gen 7, which the 1.1 book predates.

If you can neutralize the threats effectively with a combination of FLASH and Sleep spam, then yeah, the encounter wouldn't actually be Tough any more.  It'd reflect how a well thought out strategy can make things a lot easier.

It's up to you in the end, though.  Personally, I'm going to stay faaaaaarrrrr away from those Gigalith.

I want to take a look in that treasure with the Pokemon. I am very curious to see what kind of item might have.

Ah! Well, that could certainly make things easier for me if they don't have Sand at the start! Of course, Iron could always just make one of them have Sand Stream to make things more Tough regardless, like he did with that SS Dribur Ven ended up catching.

Hmm....guess I'll take on those Gigalith with Solomon and Michael then! Thanks for the help with the deliberation process, everyone! Wish me and Terra luck, or Miss Fortune to pay those living boulders a visit!

With that, only you haven't chosen an Encounter yet, Dragonstrike! What catches your eye now, since everyone has made their choices?

Be careful though Terra. Rock types have terrible defenses, but they make up for power. Even with Terra powerful hide and Cosh spells, problems might happen.
