[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

That's more or less been my thoughts on Genesect too, once Terra got Arete. If it's Typing, Moves, and very Abilities/Plot Devices are so easily modifiable and being added onto, then is it capable of being classified as a true Delta, or is it that adaptability just part of the Legend's own unique quirks/Plot Devices? It's a question that Terra would be very interested in exploring with Nathan, and something that Ven wouldn't have conceived, since all his experience is only with Silverfish and he was not very well aware of its natural adaptability/susceptibility to change.

Kinda wish Shiva was not so phobic about Delta Pokemon now, our at least wouldn't be so with Arete. Her help with taking care of them and generally facilitating understanding/research of it, but that can't happen if she would object to their very existence on the grounds its horrible and/or unnatural. It also really make Terra disappointed in Shiva, for obvious reason.

Perhaps Terra could include Nathan in all his bonding session with Arete, so they could help him out in researching them and/or keeping them under control? Shiva's welcome to join too, so long as she wouldn't object to it at any point, as a baby Legend might get reasonably friendly with her and react poorly if she starts suddenly rejecting them for no logical reason (Said reason being her Delta Bias). Which isn't helped by the fact that Genesect are very susceptible to their emotions and emotional influences, so any negative interaction with them could turn volitile is not managed carefully.

Huh? @Lord Windos, as long as none is going to say "Shiva, Arete is a Delta Pokemon' directly into her face, she will handle them not an inch differently from any other young Pokemon, so there's no danger of any issues on that front. (So please none do that) Worst case scenario, if someone does or she cottons on that herself somehow, I'd just have her ignore this and STILL aid Terra if he wishes. I kinda would like to keep her restrictions concerning Delta Pokemon as it's reflecting my own meh-feelings towards Deltas and Insurgence and in-chara it's rooted in her Breeder's mindset, but at the same time I don't want it to be hindering when it comes to this young Legendary Bug, so that feels like a decent compromise to me at least.

Nathan wouldn't object to joining in.

He'd probably want to coordinate closely with Nathan about any research involving them, and naturally he'd want Shiva in on the case too due to her Empathy and understanding/skillful care with Pokemon helping with making sure the baby Legend is raised right and improving the research process (Due to her Empathy making gathering data on it MUCH easier). Whether or not that's a good thing.......that's a whole other issue.

With all that in mind, I have a question for Iron: could Terra and/or Nathan get into contact with Ventus right now?

Also, this little bit of Insight I've had on Iron's Genesects: Technically, the entire Legendary species revived from Fossils/Reminants of others is a Delta Pokemon, due to how their creation and modification radically changes their Typing from the original's natural design. That probably makes them especially interesting in Pokemon Researcher and Breeders (Good luck with trying to Breed a Legend, though! Not even a Ditto could pull that off, and if they can't, nothing can!) .....

There's no phone service down here.

Terra, when you regain cell service, you can consider all your research sent to Ventus, and you can assume Ventus provides any ounce of data about Genesect you might want. I'll give you a bit more about Creshire's variant when that happens, if you have specific questions.

-Bind (Toya): 1 energy
-Leer (Toya): 1 energy
-Amnesia (Luna): 2 energy
-Psybeam (Nubi): 3 energy
-Screech (Noire): 2 energy
-Astonish (Luna &/or Nubi): 4 energy (8 energy for both instances)
-Growl (Nubi): 1 energy
-Total (If I'm correct): 18 energy
(Phantom, I'll get Spira's side of things up as soon as these moves are confirmed by Iron)

Am I correct in assuming Ember (Hida) has already been spent?
Just curious, how much would Psywave be worth; its current power for that trainer (In Spira's case, 4), or nothing, and could a Pokemon's current exp be converted into energy? (maybe something like 10xp for 1 energy?)

---
And on an unrelated note, just cuz Leigh and Spira weren't allowed to date doesn't mean that they weren't dating...

Looks right to me. Why do you think Ember was spent, though?

We'll do the current power for Psywave.

You can't convert XP to Energy, though you're welcome to buy useless moves and then sell them lol.

Now, about those treasure thing @Iron :Is that Syrentide could grant me let me take one Female Selkid to join Heart, or find a Water Tandor Pokemon like Electrux or Shrimpumty?

Or at least a Shell Bell?

These Selkid are not up for wishing, but Mega Syrentide could tell you where to find one above, for 3 energy.
She can dredge up Shrimputy and Eletux, since many Pokemon end up in her Well. It sounds like Eletux could be a cavern Pokemon from its dex entry.

Selkid location: 3 energy
Eletux: 11 energy
Shrimputy: 9 energy
Shell Bell: 6 energy

Awesome, I'll get the post up asap.
And, probably miscommunication due to how the two posts for restoring Leigh happened to be posted.(my response to the first one)

Ok, I see. You don't have to buy her voice if you just bring her soul back into her body, but you COULD actually buy both.

Ha ha ha ha, YEAH! I got the original Pokemon I was hoping to find, ever since Iron mentioned that a Slowpoke Well existed in the Skull Ruins! That's two down, and one to go!

Got a couple of questions for you now, Iron:

- Could Terra get the other Shiny Pokemon I want by Bargaining with Mega Syrentide, or was that the only Shiny that is currently available?
- Concerning Terra himself, could Mega Syrentide tell him what exactly Deoxys did to him, and what exactly was the 'gift' it gave him?

You could bargain for the other shiny, sure.

Syrentide isn't a very good communicator, so no.
