[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Actually Shiva is mounted on Dunseraph. Skarmory has two Marcomons.

"Below this Layer are the hostile caverns themselves, where the earth is alive with Earthpower and can make judgments of its own. Only by exceeding these depths will we reach the King's true domain."

Ah. Then she'll shield herself AND Angie shall an attack being launched at them, preventing damage.

What I kinda want to do to progress here is launch a group's collective of SE-moves onto these robotic Volcanions, which is Ground, Rock and Electric in an attempt to disable them before they start the fire on us. I remember Kelda having these earthy blades, Arachna's Omastar should know one or two Ground and Rock Types if it's trained well, I have Primal Glaceon's Ancient Power, but that's it already.

They never have a moment to take a breath. Heart was in Quetzal back, with protect Google's he buy a few time ago for protection. Until he meet the two cannon Pokemon. "Holy mother of Arceus! Is Legendary Hate today or what?! Volcanion the Legendary Steam Pokemon?! And there two of them?! What the fuc****"

When Shiva tell everyone those things might be constructs, he understands what to do! He release Doublade who hold tight in Quetzal and Heart! "Doublade! We need some good extra protection! Wide Guard 2 Times right away! Then Punch those fools with 3 Rock Smash!"

"Quetzal! Speed maneuver! Use Tailwind to increase everyone speed! Then make those fakemons to the ground with Rock Slide 4x!"

If any of those two fainted, I use a Revive. Going to use Potion in half of their HP.

As agreed in MetaThread, Shiva at firt withdraws Whimsi into the safety of her Pokeball, and as she packs it away she draws another: From it, a bigger, bulkier and overly different-looking Glaceon manifests, Shiva immediately gets a firm hold onto him and demonstratively places him onto her lap. The currently icy Eeveelution gives Shiva a confused look at first, then quickly huddles up closer to her after having stared into the abyss below more accidently than willingly. Ugh.

"You see these strange reddish Pokemon aiming at us, dear one? *points towards the two Mecha Volcanion below* BLAST 'EM with your full power of the ancient times, aim to knock one out before moving on to the next exemplar. Don't worry about their potential fire powers, I've got your back...." She rises the Shield, ready to bring it into action at an appropriate time.

--------------------------------------

With Angie successfully evading (means, if their Roll succeeds), mechanically these Volcanion can't target Primal Glaceon either, can they? Shiva actively tries to use this quirk to her own advantage, her very own fae nature cheering and smiling.
Shall Angie fail to evade though and the target is Primal Glaceon, Shiva will protect him and herself with that Shield, preventing damage. Given Angie's Dragon Type, her many HP and Terra's high Vitality, Primal Glaceon is more vulnerable.

Accuracy Roll Primal Glaceon's Ancient Power 1: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 4 Actions = 9d6
Accuracy Roll Primal Glaceon's Ancient Power 2: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 5 Actions = 8d6
Accuracy Roll Primal Glaceon's Ancient Power 3: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 6 Actions = 7d6
Accuracy Roll Primal Glaceon's Ancient Power 4: 4 Dext + 3 Fight + 6 Channel - 7 Actions = 6d6
Damage Roll: 4 Strength + 2 power of the move, no STAB = 6d6 +1 autodamage due to SE.
Additional notes: Has 1CD to raise every Attribute by 1. It's also his fave move, so I wonder whether using it that often in succession has any effect or benefit - not mechanically probably, but roleplaywise.

Nathan's eyes go wide when the 'Volcanion' emerge from the tube.  He urges Charizard to be cautious, doing his best to keep calm himself.  "...those things can definitely blast us with Water, and possibly also Fire.  I'm not yet confident you'll be able to hurt them much.  Focus on dodging their moves, or we're probably going to be grounded.  Try and get us to solid ground safely."

Nathan also summons Solosis (who should still be tiny enough to also fit atop Charizard).

"Solosis, get up a Light Screen ASAP, please.  Then see if you can chip away at our aggressors with Psywave."

Going to increase Nathan's Evasion to 4 for 18 exp!

Charizard will Evade up to 4 times.  Nathan also has a Super Potion ready to use on Charizard in case he gets badly hurt, because he can't afford Charizard fainting right now, period. If Charizard does faint, though, Nathan also has a Revive ready.

Solosis is gonna use Light Screen followed by 4 Psywaves!

Evasion has 15 base dice.
Canalize moves have 14 base dice

Neat.  So, does that mean Solosis has 3 Happiness now? (Forgot to note down the earlier increase along with restoring Servine's HP.  Whoops. Should be updated now, though)

Nathan definitely sighs in relief when his party comes out of that unscathed.  He instructs Charizard to land where Luxray and Feraligatr were dropped off.

"Great job, Charizard.  Thanks for prioritizing our safety."

Nathan definitely also noticed that only 2 of the Scims got involved in that battle...hmmmm...

...in any case, while waiting for Mamoswine and Meowstic to be transported down (and Marco, I suppose?), Nathan's carefully observing the area.  And Gallade also gets back out of his pokeball now that they're on solid ground again.

The next artifact is hidden in the watery depths, where the sun doesn't shine...Lurantis said it was in the King's Domain, though...hmmm...the question is, how do they get there from here? If they have to swim...

Hah, that was certainly not as tough as Shiva has feared it to be, she gets the creepy feeling that if these were REAL Volcanion, they'd all be screwed now. She remembers how shocked and fascinated at the same time she was when she read about this creature and it's believed powers. For a while, everytime when there was something about outbreaks of steam or fog on the news, she involuntarily had to think about this particular Pokemon being responsible for this.

Shiva would probably have raised the Shield in this case to protect herself and Primal Glaceon, so is it okay if I ignore the damage on those two?

THIS is also something that immediately catches the natural fae-enthusiast's curiosity, she audibly gasps as she watches how the stones form into what she believes to be the den of her special Eevee. That's nothing but a bold guess though given she has never actually SEEN the den when the group was dwelling in that era! Now that she thinks about this, she would have loved to.

Giving Angie a thankful pat on her noodle-body, Shiva leaps down from her as well when Primal Glaceon does, cringing a bit in sudden pain as the attack from one of the assaults from these Mecha Volcanion hit her arm and blackened the sleeve of her Ranger's Cloak as she tried to shield herself (not literally). Eh, but seeing how WISHFUL her currently icy Eeveelution is about entering that den, she chooses to ignore this for now. C....Can't show weakness now! "Glaceon, dear, w-wait for me, I'm coming too! >o<" she instead calls out for him as she makes haste to reach that den as well. And of course she lets him enter, she also makes sure to take some photos of this made-up den for her report on the species of Prima Eevee!

Solosis is acclimating fast.

I'm guessing Charizard would set you down on the island where Luxray (who I forgot to use) and Feraligatr were set down. Followed shortly after by Marc and the rest of his mons.

Feraligatr comes back with three Slowpoketails. They look a little old, so you don't think he was the one to tear them off. You do note that they are way oversized. He reports seeing a lot of Slowpoke and Slowbro when you play 20 questions with him.

From your vantage point on one of the more central islands, just across from the Volcanion sentry islands, you feel surrounded by the collected watery shipwrecks. In toward the more central islands you can see that recipient tube which captures the waterfall; lots of metal items around it too. There's kind of a moat separating each ring of islands.

After a few seconds of being on the ground, a second colossal red tube rotates into place, swirling all the water and spraying a huge fountain into the air. Between that movement and the constant heat, this water stays clean and fresh. Then the second tube sinks away again, leaving only the recipient tube and a lot of agitated water.
