[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery
Oh dear, yes, Kee's agreeing so much on keeping that pair together. "Good idea, great idea, splendid idea, YES!! Thank you, thank you, thanks and thankies for that, for heaven's sake." With that clarified, he manages to calm down a little, but he won't stop being in such an erratic state until the situation's cleared. And, until Octavia returns with Gene in tow and aids in putting all these messy emotions back into proper order.

That Megastone the ninja tosses to him though - he catches it more by accident than willingly, then gived Kogeki a puzzled look. "Uh... 'Kay, if ya say so, I take that one. But, ya know, I don't even own a Key Stone." ╮( ̄ω ̄; )╭

"In fact Kee, dont you think Randolph could make a better use with that Mega Stone? He is a powerfull trainer, and I supose you dont have a Mega Ring yet, Rans could make a better use. Besides, he show he can control powerfull behemoth pokemon."

In that case the pokeballs will be focus in the female Abomasnow @Dragonstrike.

That just gets a smug expression from colorful rave-guy. "Well, nope, to late, you should think b'fore you act out of a whim. (¬‿¬ ) Anyone can control a raging and dangerous Pokemon if just knowing how to and putting their mind and heart into it. Depends also how you define a 'dangerous Pokemon' - a single bite from my Minyan will send you to emergency room of hospital due to sepsis, and yet he's listening to me."

(Final words on that Megastone are discussed privately.)

I'll assume Karen Paralyzes them with Magneton.  No Burn or Poison because those were treated ASAP by Kee.  There will be a reduction for Confusion, though, as Abomasnow A was KOed while Confused.

Kogeki's Pokeballs:

Dusk Ball 1
(5)(3)(2)(4)(6)(2)(3)(1)(4)(3) 4 successes
(5)(1)(5)(1)(5)(6)(1)(6)(1) 3 successes
Gotcha! Giant Female Abomasnow was caught!

Randolph's Pokeballs:

Great Ball
(5)(2)(1)(5)
(2)(1)(2)(3)(2)(3)(5)(1)

...

Gotcha!  Giant Male Abomasnow was caught!

Gene walks up with Octavia shortly after the Abomasnow have been captured.

"Well, the blizzard's gone, and you're all fine, so I suppose that means you've defeated the Abomasnow, yes?  Where are they, though?"

He looks at Kee to ask him a question as well.  "And why was your Sylveon so insistent that I go to the kitchen and get some food?"

Unbeknownst to everyone, Randolph let out a small *Sigh* of relief when his war goddess lumbered forward to oppose the Mega Abomasnow couple, closing his eyes briefly and shaking his head minutely to himself before crossing his arms and sternly watching the rest of the battle unfold. It was a big gamble to send her out to finishing cutting down those evergreen terrors, but it looked like it'll pay off.

All's there left for him to do now is await the outcome of this clash between titans, and hope his was the one that would win.....

(...)

As the macho snowman cleaned its own clock with their Ice Punch,  Ran grinned like an extremely satisfied Persain that ate the Pidgey and drank a carton of cream, soon letting off a booming laugh as the Howling Snowstorm petered out.

"AH HA HA HA HA! Winter's over, ya big cold bastards! Now it's our time of the year now! AH HA HA HA HA!"

Once he was done gloating over their defeat by everyone, he uncrossed his arms and walked over to his albino hippo (staying a respectful distance away from her, too) and gave her a short but thankful nod.

"Great job mulching those Abomasnow, Sekhmet, and thank ya for doing it. Really appreciate it, and to show you that I mean what I say...."

He then pull out the bag of Gourmet Food he purchased for her earlier (Sweet Potato flavor, since I've hear hippos like to eat them) , opened it up, and gave it to her.

"Here ya go. Your favorite. Hope ya enjoy, girl."

After awaiting her reaction, he'd let her enjoy her treat before returning her, and walking back over to his partners with a smile on his face. This battle overall has left him feeling distinctly enthusiastic and peppy, which was a welcome change from his previous cold, grumpy, and stern disposition post Snow Temple for him and likely everyone else! No longer was he in a poor mood, no sir, and what a good thing that was!

Karen shares that sentiment; "True."

The stealth expert's praise only served to bolster his good mood, prompt them to clasp them on their leg/waist in a friendly manner and let off another bark of laughter.

"Ah ha ha! Yeap, Sekhmet sure is! She's a mean, cantankerous beat that's wickedly Smart, but when she does cooperate.....well, you've seen the results for yourself! Just like me, ah ha ha!"

Kee's sour rebuke served to deflate the bristly blacksmith's cheer somewhat, though, causing him to frown lightly at the youngster and cross his arms at them.

"I'd call it saving the rest of our Pokemon from suffering freeze burn, but that's just me opinion. Think what ya wish, Kee."

Their grudging (and Karen's less grudging) concession to him giving a warning does grunting acceptance from him.

"Thank ya. I learn from my mistakes, so they shan't happen again. Least, when I'm the one in charge of something. Can't and won't take the blame for fuck ups out of mine and in spite of my supervision."

If you could you help me capture the male one too, professor Rowan could reward all of us handsome too. And I think this Male Abomasnow would be even more angered if we simple left him alone without her mate I supose."

(...)

Kogeki approach the Abomasnow and grab the Mega Stone. He check up for a few seconds, and then throw to Kee. "Here. A little apologize gift for what I said before. You can sell for a handsome prize. Or keep to you in case you want a Abomasnow who have a bond with. You are indeed a strong trainer indeed."

Kogeki's request gets a quick nod from him. "Certainly, partner. Wouldn't want to leave these big christmas trees to get back up and run around freely again either, as [i]another
white out blizzard from them is the last thing anybody needs."

Unsaid was that he too didn't want either of them to die either, but that notion was clear from the way his shoulders sagged in relief when the Female Abomasnow was put out and Captured. His own went quite well too, and was sent off to his PC for treatment and containment for the unforseeable future. Eventually he'd get to bonding with them, but between Zorn and Sekhmet he had his hands full of unruly Pokemon to tame right now. Notably, with their acquisition, he now had a Snow Warning Pokemon, another addition to his collection of Weather Setting Pokemon. All's left for him to obtain now was a Pokemon with Drizzle, and it'd be complete! Hmm.....maybe he could get a Pelipper later from Old Fashion.....

He was less than pleased with the sly guy fecklessly tossed over the Abomasite to Kee, and even less so when the sour dandy gave their smarmy refusal to pass it over to him. To his credit, however, the dwarven craftsman didn't blow up at either of them. Instead, he pinched the bridge of his nose hard enough to leave his thumbprint on it, took a DEEP breath, and let out a most aggrevated *SIGH* at both display before he turned away and resolutely resumed ignoring/snubbing Kee. So they wanted to be that way, huh? Well FINE. See if he cares. Fat lot of good that Mega Stone will do them anyway without either a Abomasnow or Key Stone, hmpt....

"*Nods* Yup. Gone with the wind, the Abomasnow and the blizzards they brought are. As for where they are now, I caught one and sent it to my PC, and the other....well, that's why Kee's Slyveon came to fetch ya and some of your grub. Female Abomasnow ended up taking a hellsih amount of Lethal burns from my Brigid's INFERNO, and they need to be Stabilized and patched up pronto 'fore their condition worsens. Think ya can help us with that, sir?"

After that's sorted out, Randolph at last turns his attention the Sinjoh Ruins, the very local that the deranged Mega Abomasnow had worked tirelessly to block access, his demeanor now serious and firm as bedrock.

"Reckon it's time for all of us to check the Ruins and Mystri Stage, and see for ourselves why those mean and bone freezing greens was guarding this place so zealously? Sooner we get to the bottom of this, the sooner we can wrap up our investigation and head back to Snowpoint. *Mumbles* Old Fashion will definitely get a kick out of what we've discovered so far, or I ain't got a PhD in Geology...."

Gene's turn to pinch his nose and sigh.

"...of course that's where they are...well, it's not my place to say what you can and can't do.  I'm sure the Snover will find new leadership among their ranks, given enough time."

*rolls*

Everyone except Kee sees one of the Snover peeking around a corner, silently watching the party.  Gene doesn't seem to pay them any mind, though, and continues talking.

"Well, show me the Abomasnow you used Inferno on, and I'll make sure they're patched up right quick.  And once you're all ready, I'll show you the Sinjoh Ruins proper."

"*Huffs* I did warn ya that I was going to try catching them, so I don't see why you're complaining now. 'Sides, I think its a bad idea letting them run loose, after all the trouble they brewed up. *Shrugs* If ya want them freed to lead them Snovers, though, I'm willing to negotiate for it. I ain't a unreasonable bastard - just a plain o' old one. If they cause ya winter weather problems again, however, then you can't say I didn't tell ya so."

He'd gestures to the Dusk Ball Kogeki caught the Female Abomasnow in (If he didn't send it off to the PC), and leaves it to them to release them for treatment.

Ran's obviously ready, but he'll wait on everyone else. Haste makes waste or deadly mistakes, and there is safety in numbers, after all....
