[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery
Quote:"Hmm....then who you guys think it might doing this? Any enemy you guys could think it could benefit from this chaos? Any lead information could be useful."

Ugh, how many times are we going to have to answer this question...? WE DON'T KNOW!

Quote:Gene (aka Genesis) chuckles. "Why, a pokemon, of course! Ohhohohoho. One as old as the world itself."

He doesn't say which pokemon, though.
Karen almost audibly rolls her eyes at that; "I figured that smart aleck."
Karen dryly laughs at the fact that Kogeki managed to ire 2/3 of the Lake trio in such a short period.

"Very much useful." Kogeki said thinking what to do. "There is at least someone else who could help solve this mystery? Like another Legendary who could be willing to help us? Cresselia, Darkrai, Victiny or anyone else who could have a idea what is happening?"

"After hearing everything, I'm afraid that it appears to be down to you lot to solve this mystery. If the Being of Knowledge does not even know what is going on, then nobody will until such answers are found. There is no time to search for other Legends, either."

(I have other thing to said to the Lake Trio before we return to Snowpoint so please everyone, be patient with me)

When Kogeki finally finish his search, he took time to digest everything he heard and learn. Along with his previous behavior. He sigh and approach Azelf, Uxie and Mesprit. He look to them and then he sigh in defeat. He kneel before them. "....I sorry for my previous behavior toward you three. I was insensible toward you three and act in rude and desrecptble way. I lost to much in my life, and I felt in great grief and self blame during all my life to this day...I hate Legendary Pokemon for never heard any call of mine...but my hatred was wrong misplaced against you three. You are indeed just trying to help in the better way you can. Some Legendary I still think as unwortly gods, but you three are not. You gave us what make us alive: Knowledge. Emotions. And Will."

"I was wrong about you three, and I beg forgiviness for the way I treat you...."

Just like Kogeki, Susano'o and Gama approach the Legendary Pokemon and bow toward them in respect too.

In the case they do accept Kogeki apology, Kogeki do have a new set of question to the being of knowledge, maybe a bit more easier.

1 - Possible location of certains Mega Stones for Dramsama, Gardevoir and Heracross.

2 - What Kogeki and everyone can help them to solve this mystery?

3 - How can they enter in contact with the Lake Trio?

4 - About divinity of Tsukinami Leader, if they are indeed mortal Incarnations of Aotios and Mutios. And if they are, then why they choose such path?

Uxie definitely still seems a bit more standoffish, but they'll at least speak to Kogeki after that apology.

You're second question is one we've already answered. Go to Spear Pillar, and find out what's happening with Dialga. Your first and fourth questions, I will not answer. Knowledge is also about finding your own answers. If you don't find answers on your own, you'll never grow. Finally, the Red Chain is a physical manifestation of our combined powers. You will not need to contact us to use it. If we need to find you, though, we can use the Red Chain to locate you ourselves.

...look, Legendary pokemon are often pretty busy, alright? We don't have the time to answer every individual's calls for help. Maintaining the world's balance is HARD. Capital H, A, R, D. We've usually got bigger problems that we need to solve, ones that most humans don't understand.

Mesprit is a little more sympathetic, though, and pats Kogeki's shoulder.

...look, even if they're both still being...a little cold, we all accept your apology. Azelf and Uxie just aren't as good at showing it, okay? Don't take it too personally. It'll just take them a little longer to cool down.

...alright, that's enough playing around, Mesprit. We've got a Red Chain to make!

Mesprit turns to face Azelf and Uxie and nods. Yes, of course. Let's get started right away!

The Lake Trio all huddle together and hold their hands out, putting them in the middle of their little circle. They close their eyes and start focusing all of their attention on their task.

The gemstones on their tails and foreheads begin to glow with a brilliant, red light. It gets brighter and brighter until it fills the entire room. Everyone has to shield their eyes, lest the light blind them.

Throughout the whole process, everyone can hear something akin to a mumbled chant in their heads, feel the air charged with Psychic energy of immense power...

Even though they said it would not be as strong as it could be, this item is still clearly going to be immensely powerful.

The red light fades, almost as if it's being sucked into the middle of the circle made by the Lake Trio. And floating in that spot is a set of nine red colored gemstones, similar to the ones that adorn the Lake Trio. Mesprit gathers them up and hands them to the party (you guys can decide if you want to split them or if one person is going to hold all of them).

Keep these gemstones safe. And when the time comes to call upon the Red Chain's power, simply gather them together and wish for it to be assembled. You can only use it once, so use it wisely, and only if it's needed. If Dialga has a reasonable explanation for what's going on, the last thing we want to do is anger them by unnecessarily trying to restrict their power. If you do have to use it, though...well, you'll have to weaken Dialga first before the Red Chain can fully restrict what they can do, since my brothers and I aren't at our full power ourselves. We have faith that you guys can do this, though!

"Well, if that's everything, I think we should be getting back to Snowpoint City now. It's getting rather late, and we're going to need to get all the rest we can before we start heading to Mt. Coronet. Routes 216 and 217 are rather harsh environments to trek through."

"Yes, I believe it should be about time for Abra to wake up from his nap. Follow me, everyone. We'll get you Teleported back to where you started in a jiffy."

Mesprit waves goodbye, Azelf gives the group a confident nod, and Uxie...yawns.

Good luck, everyone! We're counting on you!

We'll stay here at the Sinjoh Ruins with Genesis for a little while. It's a sacred place, so we should be safe from being attacked again. And we'll be able to keep an eye on the Mystri Stage for any changes that might indicate things are improving.

...*yawn*...you guys...be careful...I need...to take a...nap...zzzzzz...

-----------------------------------------------------------

When everyone returns to Gene's cabin, Abra is indeed awake, sitting in his corner. He's watching everyone carefully...

Gene walks over and explains the situation to his small, Psychic friend. "Abra, this group needs you to Teleport them back to Snowpoint City in the Sinnoh Region. They have a lot of work to do, so the sooner they return, the better."

Abra nods and begins concentrating immediately, their arms and legs crossed. Gene walks over and shakes everyone's hands. "It's been a pleasure meeting you all. I will pray to Arceus that your mission will be successful. I'd bet my cane that you won't need all of that, though! Ohhohohohoho!"

Abra then claps his hands together, and the whole group feels a wave of Psychic energy wash over them. Gene waves goodbye, and right before everyone Teleports, his form begins to flicker and shift...

*rolls*

...and everyone sees him turn into a small, pink pokemon with a long tail and large, bright blue eyes.

And then everyone Teleports immediately afterwards.

-----------------------------------------------

The group finds themselves suddenly standing in front of the Snowpoint City Pokemon Center. It's nighttime, so it's freezing cold outside. And it's still Hailing.

Lucas suggests that they go inside. "We should find Professor Rowan. He'll want to know what's going on."

Assuming everyone does as suggested, they find the Professor of Pokemon Evolution sitting at that same table in the lobby. He looks up from some research papers he was analyzing. "Ah, there you all are! I was wondering what was taking you so long! So tell me, what'd you find in the Snowpoint Temple?"

Posting system is still borked, so I'm mostly going to be abridging my post here. Man, I wish it'd get fixed soon, but given that the forums are hardly ever used by anyone but us, that might not happen anytime soon....

Kogeki's Apology
- Ran doesn't have much to add, except to offer his own silent condolences by walking up and patting them on the leg while Mesprit , as he can understand and sympathize with his frustrations, desire for answers, and his past in general. He's been through similar events himself before, after all, and the yearning to Know the answers you seek at almost any cost is familiar to him as well.

Red Chain's Creation (And Afterwards)
- If it's possible (And if he would have it), Ran would take out a wielding face shield/glasses he owns and put them on in order to witness the Red Chain's creation without being blinded, and take notes on it too if able. Not everyday you get to witness something like that happening, and having it recorded the best he could would make for a valuable curiosity for Rowan and any Legendary Lore Researcher.
- After the Red Chain is created (in a sense) and presented to the group, Ran would accept the gems that would one day make it with a great deal of solemnity and severity, giving them and the rest of the Spiritual Trio a look or rock solid DETERMINATION! as he inclined his head to them. "That we'll do, Mesprit, and I assure ya all due consideration and caution will be taken to resolve things with Dialga up there. Peacefully I hope, or not so peacefully if it comes to that. So we swear to ya....or myself, at the very least."
- He'd then suggest all the Red Gems go to Lucas for safekeeping/holding, as they are by far the strongest member of their group and thus are the least likely to lose them. He trusts them enough for them to hold such a responsibility, and knows first hand that he and his Pokemon aren't lacking in any means.
- Lastly, he bids the pixies farewell as he leaves with the group (facing away from them) with a wave that smoothly turns into a thumbs up, simply saying to them : "Luck or nothing, I'll get this mess fixed in a jiffy, or die screaming trying. Bet on it."

Departure and Arrival
- Ran's farewell to Genesis is gruff, but ultimately nice enough. "Can't say I share the exact sentiment as ya- not honestly or simply, at least - but it I can say it was plenty helpful and eventful for us all, and that I 'ppreciate ya hospitality. Be it Hail or nature itself, nasty and viscous Wild Pokemon, or whatever Tauros shit that supernatural force throws at us, I and my partners will get to the top of this mystery crises, no matter what. So don't worry about us too much, focus ya worries on taking care of these old Ruins and yourself instead. Like ya always have, and always will, probably. Take care, Genesis, and Auf Wiedersehen. Wenn wir uns wiedersehen, sei es eine gute Zeit für uns beide."

- He'd internally be half surprised that Genesis Transformed into a mysterious pink creature of sorts, and half 'I DEFINITELY knew there was more to them!' , but doesn't get the chance to react before being Teleported away. Simple as that!

- Upon arriving in front of the Center, he'd not waste anytime making his way into it and to Rowan, possibly pre-empting Lucas' suggestion and marching his way over to them, his expression a combination of weary frustration, grave severity, and overall just plain serious. "Yes, we are. Through vexing strangeness, cryptic challenges, and possibly -arguably - divine intervention, we are here. Wonder no longer, Professor, for I got a most memorable report for ya that'll be enough to test your nerves and resolve. Everything that happened throttled mine, that's for damn certain."

And then he proceeds to tell Rowan everything , from the strangeness of the Ruins itself, his discovery of the out of place Amber and rocks, the group's ambush by A-Sands , the last maze-like floor that lead all the way to Sinjoh Ruins somehow, and the events that happened afterwards. He'd let Lucas or anyone else interject/add their own comments/discoveries to his recounting. The bristly miner would finish thus: "....And that's the gist of it. Region's and the whole world is going to be screwed by Dialga or whatever else responsible for the recent strangeness, unless we go up to Spear Pillar and sort out this sordid mess. In other words, not good for any of us. *Sighs* Least with Lucas on the job with us, we have a much better chance of making it than a Bidoof escaping a hungry Staraptor through any means other than its droppings, but it's still a tall order to fulfill all the same. Any chase this news will get us anymore help from those League?"

Done, and done! Once everyone's said their own piece, let us proceed!

(Cody's working on it, dear. It's a hassle to deal with the board until then, yes, but let's just wait for things to work as intended again, alright? Have patience, and bear with him as that's what we can do at least.)

Concerning the red gemstones that form the Red Chain, splitting them among thr group so that everyone keeps a piece is much more safe than having one person carry them all, so Kee will suggest just that. "We'll still be doomed if one of us looses their stone or we'll loose them as a person, but to a lesser degree than loosing ALL the gemstones by loosing the one carrying 'em. Eh..." He takes a defensive stance complete with raised palms and everything, "Just in case, NONE of us shall get fall during out trip, but we don't know for certain what's to come and what the mountain will throw at us, right?"

Before they'll leave Gene's cabin with the help of Abra, the colorful musician would give Gene a hug. A kind, fond and honest one, aww. Concerning why, just because. "'Cuz it's been nice to stay with you here, 'cuz you're a good guy and you made me feel twenty years younger: Nostalgia, you see." ^o^ These feelings stay even if it's revealed that Gene's a member of the Slowpoke Evoline (?????!!!!!), knowing an exemplar that can cook and talk fluently would add to his surreal and this-is-afterlife-because-I-died feelings if they wouldn't be cleared already.

How fortune that Prof.Rowan was awaiting them in the Center, as it saves Kee the effort to find him tomorrow for final decisions on that Delta Grotle, aka whether she'll stay under his care or not. But that can be discussed once the matter of what they found in the Temple has been wrapped up, or I can flashforward to it later if it takes too long. Whe he WILL ask the prof. though, is what he knows about: ".....Alternate dimensions. Different worlds. Or, more specific and featuring more vibes of crazyness and weirdness, PEOPLE shifting from one to another by accident. Ever heard of such a phenomena, professor? Just....asking, maybe you have after all." He won't say why he's aking that though, not himself at least.

Gene definitely isn't a member of the Slowpoke line. He was floating, and Slowpoke don't have that capability (or if they somehow do, they're too lazy to use it ;P ).
