Cosh is at the very least More Than Human without his Gauntlet, as hinted by Iron in a post near the beginning of the Skull Ruins plunge. He'll be able to keep his Artifact even if his magiteck device is bust, so that idea's not exactly going to work out so swell. Even if he is just a plain human without the Gauntlet, I doubt the Artifact is suddenly going to unbond to him upon losing the status, and moreover Terra wouldn't allow his Gauntlet to be broken unless they broke faith and peace with the group first.
Perhaps, but it'll go a long way of making them more likable/redeemable in the eyes of everyone, and get them much more lenient sentencing if the League chooses to prosecute them for their crimes. Whether or not the ends do justify the means, the outcome of that titanic battle is still going to factor hugely for them, most likely for the better.
Whether it means what you think or not, no augmentation, no ability to fight back effectively.
Cosh already broke faith and peace with Nathan and Gallade a looooooonnnnnnggggg time ago, and apprehending him is going to mean preventing him from having means of escape and fighting back. After this whole thing with Deoxys is over, you can bet that Nathan is going to do his damndest to make sure Cosh faces justice, same as what happened to Juni.

Concerning the Encounters, I'm honestly a bit undecided as to what I want to do. Giant Gorlurk certainly looks interesting, but Heart may want to fight it with Atlus to see if that would trigger their Evo, Lunapup is obviously interesting but I'm not sure if Nathan or Shiva may not want to take a crack at it, and the Esava and Seadra are interesting in their own right, but I'm not sure if I want to dedicate time to them either just yet.
So....what do you want to do, mates? Dragonstrike, Spirit, Phantom, Mika?

*Raises eyebrow* ....I believe that a high rank Scimitar such as Cosh would have means of defending himself even if his Gauntlet was broken, but I won't complain if its that easy to dispatch him.
........Terra's likely not going to accept Nathan immediately stabbing the Scimitars in the back after Deoxys is taken care of in some manner, as after all the help they've provided to the group and the hardship they've went through together he wouldn't be so inclined to auto condemn them like Nathan does. He'd remembered the crimes they've committed, yes, and he'd want them to face some form of justice too, but.....well, saving the region and getting to know the guy has gone a long way for my chara. forgiving him.
Needless to say, Terra's going to be quite torn when the times comes when the alliance is over and Nathan presses Cosh/the Scims to pay/atone for their crimes.

I'm just going to auto you and give you average XP, plus the knowledge of whether Golurk can help evolve Golett. Take your time to cool down.

Lunapup* and the Baltoy horde are the two I'm looking at the most, tbh.

Which one you'd prefer doing more? I'm quite willing to give up *Lunapup to you, if you desire. Won't be doing the Baltoy horde myself, though, as I don't have any Spread Moves to deal with them, nor do I want to deal with any mons that possibly have EXPLOSION in their Movepool and plenty of buffing Moves to drag out the fight in their favor.

Lunapup* would be the one I'd prefer of the two.

I'm highly interested in that Lunapup though - Shiva's lacking a good Ground Type, I'm very curious what it is guarding (I feel she's got the highest chances to find out what it is with her honed empathy) and it's a cool-sounding scenario. Would you let me have it? I'd be willing to bid XP if I have to.
