[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

I've just been waiting on writing my reaction to the trapdoor IC for now. Just been a bit too busy/tired to write it right away.  Calm down.

*sigh*  Look, thank you for doing that, but if you're not going to get them all, I'm just going to have to get the rest myself.  You might not care about them besides THE most important one on my wishlist since Day 1, but everyone else very much might, depending on what the other ones are.  And need I remind you thay I originally wanted to take that encounter in the first place?  I'm more than a little annoyed for obvious reasons.

Again, though, thank you for at least compromising.  But the fact remains that I need to do this at all is rightfully irking me greatly, regardless of whether there's Delta Houndoominite there.

Hopefully what I suggested to Lunapup in-game and in-chara will solve the current issue in a way - concerning the further handling of the situation, I'll wait on what's the outcome of Shiva's investigation.

With the location of the throne room, we can find any incredible items there! Maybe along with Mega Stones, we might able to find noice items to make up the trade of Miracle Rood and Everlink Armor. Maybe items with the same effects or maybe greater. That way, Heart will not have to leave the group and go east to search for Sid East Wind.
And I adamant in that decision if we not find anything. Please, tell everyone the location of the place.

Haha, that's adorable of you, found a direct ally on the desire to get access to the Throne Room. Everyone already knows of this trapdoor already though thanks to Spira who shared it here.

...I feel like you're overlooking many things that Nathan has done for Shiva, Phantom.  Most of it hasn't been physical gifts, which I don't personally think are something entirely necessary in a friendship (they're nice, but I don't feel friendship should have to be bought or maintained via gifts)

- honey party (was for everyone, but need I say more?)
- willingly entering a nightmare to try and help her (which he did tell her).  Everyone else ended up there by coincidence, so this counts for a little at least, right?  At least, I was hoping it did.
- saying he'd catch her a Tropius if he found one in the Running (didn't happen due to circumstances, but he was willing to do it)
- he was happy to see she was okay after the second encounter with the Running (no problem with expressing it back then)
- the Destiny Knot gift (that was expensive, ya know)
- just now, checking up on her in the nido village when it was abundantly clear that such assistance might be appreciated (can you blame me for wanting to grab an opportunity to try and help?  I don't care if said help was rejected, damnit.  It doesn't mean it should be ignored)
- there is also the eevee family, yes, so I won't go into detail on that.

I've been TRYING to have Nathan be friendly for awhile now, but Nathan has no idea how to approach her with anything most of the time, and that's partially because I feel like what he does say or do would just go unappreciated.

I'm also TRYING to move past the Almanac thing, and so long as Shiva continues to help fight the Scims and Almanac, there shouldn't be major issues with it (doesn't mean there won't be any, but as I said, I'm TRYING to move past it)

The trapdoor? I honestly forgot about it until you brought it back up again, but now that I remember I'm still not all that concerned about it right now. Namely because the group probably doesn't have a way past the trapdoor yet, and because we have bigger fish to fry with both the Helm and Deoxys looming high overhead. That, and if we try to get to the throne room we'll probably run into The Eye and/or Regirock at some point along with the Vines and the Claydols, which are troubles we really shouldn't be dealing with now.

About the 'friendship can't be bought by gifts'-part, I agree alot. About the further points, it's much less 'overlooking' and much more 'I don't nor can't remember every detail, nor do I note down everything', sorry if it came off that way. I edited my latest post a bit to match.

Finding the helm has priority, that's true and that's my viewpoint as well, but I still wish to try everything possible to get access to that Throne Room since it's feeling like the center of loot and we've come that deep down the Ruins, we could just as well attempt to reach this final and secret layer. If the Eye and so on are lurking there, so be it then, with all the Artifacts on our side I'm rather willing to face them if having to do so.

You don't currently know of any reason you couldn't return to this trapdoor after finding the helm.

Hmm couldnt we simple burst the door? If I recall, the Sword can make any attack in Plot Device Damage. If we use the Rock Smash combine with the Sword, we could have a chance to break the door. Its a Legendary HM empower by a artefact. I sure we could destroy it. At least its worth a shot.

The minarets are almost indestructible for plot reasons.  Even a PD ROCK SMASH can't do more than chip them.  This includes the trapdoor.  We aren't going to get in by destroying it.

We could at least try. What we gonna lost for trying?

I'm alright with trying to destroy it that way, because nothing prevents us from trying. It likely won't do anything, yes, but nothing speaks against attempting it anyway.

EDIT: Doesn't have to happen now though.
