Having two good abilities should cost around 100XP.
Can't afford that? Add a drawback!

I'd go for Nubi as a 6th member because I want another Pokemon able to keep a Lucky Chant up alongside Delphox and Gallade, seeing that it turned plotdevice'd damage into normal damage in the fight against that Genesect. Alola Exeggutor as a close second due to his massive-tank-trait, but I'm worried that one plotdevice's damage could still chop that dragon tree.

Concerning rather buffing ourselves than trying to debuff Deoxys themselves, I've got a stylish way to grant us all a nice bonus in Stats. Unless there's a limit how many allies can be inspired to get that bonus of active Flower Gift Ability? *glances over to Iron* (・・ ) ?
Also, are Max Potions the ONLY way to heal plotdevice'd damage, what about Hyper Potions? Would like to know from GM's viewpoint before I invest in something that might not be outright required as for 1 Max Potion I could get 2 Hyper Potions, which means healing can be used more frequently.

About who to bring to that fight, Shiva's personal team is more or less set, I just need to properly write it down and make final edits. She herself would like to see if she can't get Primal Lurantis to join the fight, so visiting the sacred grove is something I'd really like to do before getting into the fight. Because a plotdevice'd Pokemon should be able to hit a fellow plotdevice'd Pokemon, shouldn't it? Angela is an option as well, and Shiva will certainly try to find her in Elanor to inquire whether she'd join the front as well.
Furthermore..... Just a thought, but could Shiva get Ventus into joining the ranks and participate in the battle as well? Would he himself want that? I wouldn't blame him if he prefers not to. He could be handled as an NPC though rather than being actively controlled by Windos (unless you'd say you'd want to bring up his battle orders yourself of course), and after the fight he retreats back to research. ????
@Iron, once you've answered these questions of mine I'm ready and fine with progressing, which means returning to the surface.... OG GOD THAT EXCITEMENT, I'm so freakishly thrilled and nervous (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ

There is one slight problem with using Lucky Chant: that only worked against Genesect because it was only partially Plot Deviced, and thus could only deal PD damage when it crit (which was super likely thanks to large dice pools and Super Luck).
A fully PDed pokemon doesn't even roll any dice and just deals PD damage regardless. It's basically like they auto crit their attacks, bypassing all forms of protection (including shield moves, lucky chant, etc.), since you have to get a critical evade to dodge a fully PDed move.

Humm, in that case.... I'd still go for Nubi because of his general versatility and ability to deal SE-damage with his STAB Ghost Moves, and because it's a cool Pokemon.

Been doing some brainstorming on what Pokemon I'm going to bring to the Deoxys fight (If Terra particpates - still haven't gotten any of you guy's input on if he should do that or not), and here's the rough draft of that line-up:
- Angie: She's big, bulky, knows Bite and can potentially Flinch DEOXYS with it if she Crits with it, and due too still being uncaught she's essentially a + 1 Pokemon for Terra and the group. It'd be stupid not to bring here along, really.
- Pixie: Has both Faint Attack and Crunch to deal SE Damage, Super Fang to potentially shred DEOXYS if it's empowered by The Sword, and Taunt/Snatch make for some great disruption if they can actually be used on it.
- Genie/Melly: The former has Rock Slide that can potentially take care of DEOXYS CLONES, Bite/Faint Attack to handle the real deal, and FISSURE is now right devestating in her claws, as even under immense Pain she could just spam the Move on either the clones or the original to some effect, and either force them to dodge or take the brute and leave them open to other attacks. Melly, on the other hand, has Howl Electric Terrain Discharges, which would do wonders in clearing out the clones (Albiet at the cost of friendly fire), but not much else unless her Frost Breath/Hidden Power Fire actually works against DEOXYS.
- Dunny/Basteele: The former's a Skull Ruins Ghost that has spiritual/otherworld Status (Curse and Wil-lo-wisp) to really bone the space virus, and his Night Shade could potentially bypass Plot Device Defense due to it being Ghost Type and Not targeting it's Defense (Terra has 4 Badges, so it could do up to maybe 4 PD Damage, if Iron would be so generous). Basteele, on the other hand, as the perfectly serviceable options of Bug Bite and ZAP CANNON to really lay into DEOXYS, EXPLOSION as a last ditch 'F*&%! YOU!' to the clones if they started overwhelming everyone, and Sturdy could potentially let them survive an extra point of PD Damage.
- Oinari: Her Illusion could either potentially allow her to pull of an Ambush on DEOXYS and really screw it over with Foul Play, or possibly even scare it if DMG Genesect Illusion is successfully Intimidating. That, and Foul Play is pretty much one of the most effective Moves to use on just about any Plot Deviced Foe, as their whole PD Defense get's negated by their own overwhelming Strength being used against it. She'd unbelievably frail, though, which would likely spell her doom once she's caught out.....
- Seismitoad/Tommy (Meowth): The former has Shadow Claw that's buffed by it's own minor Plot Device (Their claw attacks do a minimal of 2D6 Damage, no matter the Target Defense) and gets High Crit (Which could do certain things), and Frost Breath if Cold Threatment actually would work against it. Tommy has Nasty Plot, Bite, Taunt, and Fake Out (Which would Flinch Deoxys if it Crited, which is not a long shot given some Will and Terra's Dice Pool), and if given the Sword Treatment by Nathan could also use Fury Swipes to great effect (Speaking of which, Sworded Grid Fury Cutter that's holding Choice Scarf.....welp, gg no re!).
- Arete: Let's be real - if you have a Legendary Pokemon, you'd want to use them against another one, no matter how weak it is in comparison. The fact they're part Bug Type is just a bonus, really! Fell Stingering a Clone would give it MEGA STRONK BOOST that could be used to great effect in carving in DEOXYS' face in, though!
That's me preliminary selection. Tell me what you think, mates!

Why should Terra NOT participate in that epic boss fight? You're worried about Deoxys utilizing that connection and more-than-human-status they soft-granted you, are you? That's a valid worry indeed, but I'd go for it anyway as Terra as a chara is too good to pass, his aid and Pokemon are weighing more, really. You could make conditional orders of spending Will Points in case Deoxys does try to make you turn against us, and worst case scenario we'll put you/and your Pokemon out with SE-attacks.
Team looks nice, I'd choose Genie over Melly and am insecure about the latter, leaning into Seismitoad though.

I honestly think you're overestimating how effective Foul Play is against Legends, Windos. Most probably aren't going to care much unless it's dealing PD damage, which makes the actual Strength stat irrelevant most of the time. It only worked really well against Genesect because it could be damaged through means other than PD damage, unlike most Legends (though Genesect still didn't care about it at all because it still didn't suffer any drawbacks from Pain). Based on what I've seen, if you're rolling for damage against a Legend, you're unlikely to do much to it, if anything.
The Sword only empowers STAB moves, so it can't PD a Mawile's Super Fang. Besides, PD damage is more akin to Dragon Rage than anything else, regardless of the source. There isn't really any advantage to making Super Fang (on a Normal type) PDed.

Hey, Foul Play is still a good option and worth a try, I wanted to bring that move up as well.

It is (mostly because it's a Dark type move), but we also need to keep in mind that what worked against a partially PDed Genesect might not work against other Legends (and the stronger they are, the more likely they'll be fully PDed).

Has to be a Max Potion or Full Restore, Flower Gift can affect 6 allies + the user, Exeggutor is big enough to have 2 "hitpoints" when it comes to PD, it's too much work to control Ventus so he'll be working behind the scenes instead of in battle.
